Real-time validation of distributed energy resource device commitments
A distributed energy resource (DER) device is coupled to a utility meter in a “behind-the-meter” configuration. The utility meter analyzes a commitment generated by the DER device to determine a specific operation performed by the DER device at a particular time. The utility meter analyzes metrology data to identify an “event” associated with the particular time and then attempts to map the identified event back to the DER device based on a library of events associated with different DER devices. The utility meter also attempts to map the identified event to the specific operation set forth in the commitment. If the utility meter can successfully map the identified event to both the DER device and to the specific operation set forth in the commitment, then the utility meter generates a validated commitment. The validated commitment can be used to facilitate an energy market settlement process.
Processing of requests
An example operation may include one or more of receiving, by a node, a request for a transport, determining, by the node, an availability of the requested transport, responsive to the availability, broadcasting the request including a suggested value to a plurality of nodes, receiving agreements from the plurality of the nodes, and recording a completed request on a remote storage.
Distributed vehicle access
A usage rule specifies a number of tokens to access a vehicle. Authorization of a request to access the vehicle is based on receiving the number of tokens specified by the usage rule. The request is stored to an electronic ledger. Actuation of the vehicle is based on the request being authorized. An allocation rule specifies the number of tokens allocated to each of an entity and the vehicle based on the request. Allocation of tokens to the entity and the vehicle is based on the allocation rule.
MOBILE DEVICE ROAMING OPTIMIZATION AND OPERATION
A method, system, and computer program product for implementing mobile device roaming optimization is provided. The method includes receiving a selection for services associated with a first mobile device provider for activation during travel to a location associated with mobile device roaming attributes with respect to a mobile device of a user. A blockchain structure and a hash masking sensitive data of the user are generated. It is detected that the user and mobile device have traveled to the location and access to the blockchain structure is enabled. Roaming usage attributes of the mobile device are determined. Subsequently, operational functionality of the mobile device at the geographical location is enabled via roaming usage of a network of the second mobile device provider and second hash of consumption related information compliant with data residency is transmitted to the first mobile device provider to facilitate resolution of disputes across entities.
ELIMINATING USE OF A MOBILE PRINTING DEVICE IN ISSUING A RECORD OF TRANSACTION ACTIVITY INFORMATION
A parking management system identifies vehicles in entrance lanes, exit lanes, or both, of a parking facility and provides a real-time vehicle inventory count. One or more beacons locate point of sale (POS) devices assigned to parking attendants to determine which of them are performing vehicle transactions. Vehicles can be associated with specific transactions, as well as the transaction-authorizing attendant and the barrier gate and vehicle travel lane to which the attendant is assigned. To reduce fraud, this transaction information can be monitored in real time by a web or mobile dashboard and analyzed in real time or upon attendant end-of-shift checkout. The system partly unburdens the parking attendant processing a parking transaction by implementing a method that eliminates need for a mobile printing device in issuing to a vehicle-driving customer a receipt, multiuse pass, or citation or warning.
Concepts for electronic door hangers
Computer program products, methods, systems, apparatus, and computing entities are provided. In one embodiment, a connection between an electronic door hanger and a customer computing entity can be established at a customer's location. With a connection established, information about an attempted (e.g., successful/unsuccessful) pick-up or delivery can be automatically provided to the customer computing entity.
PAYMENT SYSTEM AND APPARATUS
A payment system apparatus configured to install with a merchant's non-payment equipment, comprising one or more payment tokens, a transceiver system and a housing, within which the transceiver system is installed, configured to install physically, electrically, wirelessly, or any combination thereof, with the merchant's non-payment equipment.
CONTROL METHOD, CONTROL DEVICE, AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A control method according to the present disclosure is a control method for controlling a first node that holds a first distributed ledger in a system utilized to use a service object and including the first node and a plurality of second nodes that each hold a second distributed ledger. The control method includes: executing transmission processing for transmitting first transaction data to each of the plurality of second nodes; counting a total number of the second nodes that successfully communicate with the first node in the transmission processing; and storing the first transaction data in the first distributed ledger when the total number counted is greater than a predetermined number, and skipping storing the first distributed ledger in the first transaction data when the total number counted is not greater than the predetermined number.
SUPPORT SERVER, DISASTER SUPPORT SYSTEM, AND PROGRAM
A support server includes a processor configured to perform: acquiring an amount of residual fuel, state information of each of a plurality of vehicles, position information of each of the plurality of vehicles, and user position information of a user who desires supply of fuel from the plurality of vehicles; identifying a supply vehicle that is able to supply fuel out of the plurality of vehicles based on the amounts of residual fuel of the plurality of vehicles and the state information of the plurality of vehicles; generating fuel position information including at least the position information of the supply vehicle based on the user position information and the position information of the supply vehicle; and outputting the fuel position information.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR REWARD-DRIVEN FEDERATED LEARNING
Systems and methods for federated learning based on a reward-driven approach are disclosed. In one embodiment, a method may include: (1) receiving, by a federated contribution computer program executed by a federated node in a distributed ledger network, a plurality of local machine learning model updates from a plurality of clients in the distributed ledger networks; (2) retrieving, by the federated contribution computer program, a prior global machine learning model; (3) calculating, by the federated contribution computer program, a current global machine learning model based on the prior global machine learning model and the plurality of local machine learning model updates; (4) determining, by the federated contribution computer program, a federated contribution for each client based on each client's federated contribution to the current global machine learning model; and (5) issuing, by the federated contribution computer program, rewards to each client based on the client's federated contribution.
