A use management system comprises a moving body on which a user rides; a storage medium and an information processing apparatus, wherein the medium stores identification, a predetermined route and movement information, and the moving body includes a first reader/writer for acquiring information from the storage medium and records information onto the storage medium, starts recording the movement information regarding the moving body when the use of the moving body is started, records the movement information when the moving body deviates from the route, and writes the recorded movement information onto the storage medium when the use of the moving body is ended, and the information processing apparatus includes a second reader/writer for acquiring information from the storage medium and charges an additional fee to a user based on the movement information.

An interactive and customizable food delivery system with a high degree of personalization. The system provides for the personalization of a product and product label thereby delivering a client-specified food product based upon their recipe input through a computer device interface. Through use of a computer interface, such as a mobile computing device or “smart phone,” personal computer, or even through a unique computerized kiosk located at a fixed location, the user can input recipes or order products from existing recipes. The product is prepared either locally or remotely and is then delivered or shipped to the user with a customized label indicating ingredients and other information.

A method for activating a vaporizer device may include a point-of-sale device receiving, based on an identifier of the vaporizer device, activation data associated with the vaporizer device. The vaporizer device may be activated by communicating, to the vaporizer device, the activation data. The point-of-sale device may communicate the activation data to the vaporizer device via a dock coupled with the vaporizer device. Moreover, the point-of-sale device may communicate the activation data to the vaporizer device through a packaging of the vaporizer device. Alternatively, the point-of-sale device may communicates the activation data to the vaporizer device by communicating the activation data to a computing device associated with a user of the vaporizer device. The computing device may further communicate the activation data to the vaporizer device via audio signals and/or optical signals corresponding to the activation data. The information processing apparatus includes a nonvolatile memory which is not directly accessible from an OS (Operating System) and stores a count value which indicates a remaining period of a use period, a processor which executes a process which is based on a BIOS (Basic Input Output System), and to prohibit activation of the OS in a case where the count value that the nonvolatile memory stores is a predetermined value and to execute an OS-based activation process in a case where the count value is other than the predetermined value and a count value change section which operates independently of the OS and counts and changes the count value that the nonvolatile memory stores every predetermined unit period in a case where the information processing apparatus is in a working state and the count value is other than the predetermined value.

Systems and methods are provided for validating customer use of application programing interfaces (APIs). An exemplary computer-implemented method includes, in response to a request from a customer computing device for use of an API hosted by an API computing device, selecting a test case specific to the API for a test project and transmitting the test project to the customer computing device for execution by the customer computing device. The method also includes monitoring data payloads between the API computing device and the customer computing device and compiling and transmitting a report indicative of a result of the test case based on the monitored data payloads, where the report is indicative of whether the monitored data payloads are compliant with a standard associated with the API, thereby indicating certification of the customer's use of the API to provide at least one service associated with the API, or not.

A fueling station payment system having a fuel pump dispensing fuel to individual customers; a forecourt controller; a terminal disposed within said fuel pump, said terminal comprising a processing unit, a secure card reader, an encryption module and a wireless communication module; said terminal being in wireless communication with a payment processor such that encrypted secure payment information is transmitted between said terminal and said payment processor; said terminal being in wireless communication with the cloud such that encrypted secure payment information is transmitted between said terminal and said cloud; one or more point of sale systems which communicate with said forecourt controller using established protocols; and a gateway device, wherein said terminal communicates wirelessly with said gateway device, and wherein said terminal and said forecourt controller communicate with each other through said gateway device, and wherein said gateway device communicates with said forecourt controller using said established protocols of said point of sale systems.

A system and method for remote execution of applications for a connected vehicle infotainment system (CVIS). The method comprises establishing a network connection between the CVIS and a cloud server hosted in a cloud computing platform, sending a remote execution request for at least one application, wherein the at least one application is executed by the cloud server, receiving execution results from the at least one application cloud server, and rendering the execution results on the CVIS while allowing interoperability with applications executed over at least one other computing environment included in the vehicle.

In one embodiment, a method enrolling, by a payment service system and in a data store maintained by the payment service system, a payment service account associated with a payee for a direct payout program for transactions associated with a transaction facilitation service between a plurality of payers and the payee in response to requests associated with the transaction facilitation service. The method includes receiving a transaction request for a payment associated with a transaction between a payer and the payee. The method includes identifying a financial account of the payee based on retrieving an association of the payment service account with the payee identifier and the financial account. The method includes causing a transfer of a first amount of funds to the financial account and a second amount to the transaction facilitation service. The first amount of funds and the second amount of funds correspond to the transaction amount.

Systems and methods are provided for dynamically adjusting payout to deliverers, comprising receiving a plurality of delivery orders, wherein each of the plurality of delivery orders is associated with a delivery address in a geographic region, and wherein the geographic region is associated with a plurality of configurations; determining a base fee for fulfilling the plurality of delivery orders in the geographic region based on the plurality of configurations associated with the geographic region; adjusting, using a pricing algorithm, the base fee for fulfilling the plurality of delivery orders based on the determined configurations; receiving one or more features associated with the plurality of delivery orders; and adjusting the adjusted base fee based on the received one or more features, wherein the pricing algorithm used to calculate the base fee is selected among a plurality of pricing algorithms based on the geographic region.

A road usage charge system uses a proprietary blockchain to conduct transactions for road usage fees. While driving, a mobile device or equivalent tracks the vehicle location, speed, time of day, day of week, and any other parameter that may be used to modify a base road use fee are tracked and applied to conditional modifiers of the smart contract to create a new transaction block. As a result, the tedious reconciliation process normally associated with vehicular payments can be avoided.
