A method for processing a transaction at a mobile includes: receiving a product identifier of a product; and creating or updating an electronic shopping cart based on the product identifier of the product; receiving a request for performing a transaction task; in response to the request for performing the transaction task, determining a state of the mobile POS device; when the state of the mobile POS device is determined to be unlocked: performing the transaction task; and when the state of the mobile POS device is determined to be locked: rejecting the request for performing the transaction task. Related systems and devices are also disclosed.
TRADE SERVICES PROVIDER LOCATING METHOD
A trade services provider locator method facilitated by a software application wherein multitude of service providers are able to be located and retained to provide a service by a requesting user. The software application of the present invention provides the service category, pricing and other parameters in addition to the geographic location of the service providers relevant to the requesting user. The geographic location of the service providers are displayed on a graphical map within the software application of the present invention wherein the icons are configured to identify the type of service that can be provided by the service provider and further identify the time window in which the service can be delivered. The user can utilize the method of the present invention to select services from more than different type of service provider simultaneously. Furthermore, the requested service can be either on-demand or for a subsequent scheduled day.
SENSOR-BASED TRACKING OF VEHICLE CONTENT
Techniques are described for sensor-based tracking of vehicle content. In an embodiment, a request is received to deploy a vehicle to a location specified by a user. Such a vehicle may contain various items available for a user to remove from the vehicle at the location when the vehicle arrives. The techniques include determining which of the items has been taken from the vehicle using sensors of the vehicles to detect the removal of such items from the vehicle.
Dynamic transaction token/dynamic pricing based on conditions of order
A computer implemented method includes: receiving, by the computing system, a transaction authorization request, the transaction authorization request including a plurality of transaction conditions, the transaction authorization request relating to a request for a payment from a user's payment account to a recipient; provisioning, by the computing system, a plurality of limited-use payment tokens, each of the limited use payment tokens structured to expire according to a transaction condition; discarding, by the computing system, at least one limited-use payment token based on a determination that the at least one limited-use token is expired; receiving, by the computing system upon completion of a transaction, a limited-use payment token from the plurality of limited-use payment tokens; and transmitting, by the computing system to the recipient, a payment corresponding to the received limited-use payment token.
CHECKOUT ASSISTANCE SYSTEM, CHECKOUT ASSISTANCE METHOD, AND PROGRAM
A checkout assistance system (1) is configured by including a purchase product information generation unit (110) and a screen data generation unit (120). The purchase product information generation unit (110) generates purchase product information relating to a purchase product of a customer read by use of a mobile terminal (20) of the customer. Screen data including checkout processing information for causing a checkout processing apparatus that executes checkout processing to acquire the purchase product information are generated, and the screen data are output to a display apparatus (24) of the mobile terminal (20).
SETTLEMENT PAYMENT DEVICE AND UNMANNED STORE SYSTEM
A cost calculation and payment device includes: a main body provided with a placement portion on which the user places merchandise items; a first camera for capturing an image of the merchandise items placed on the placement portion; a second camera for capturing an image of a face of the user; a controller for performing a process related to cost calculation by recognizing the merchandise items in question based on a merchandise item image acquired by image capture by the first camera and to perform a process related to face authentication based on a face image acquired by image capture by the second camera; and a display for displaying a cost calculation result and a payment result acquired by the controller, wherein the display is disposed in a vicinity of the placement portion, and the second camera captures an image of the face of the user looking at the display.
Paint procurement system and method
A method of establishing a paint color to be displayed by a procurement system based on information received from an external punchout site. A formula corresponding to a desired paint color selected by a customer that is not included in a color palate of predefined colors regularly available for purchase from a paint supplier is received. Based on the formula, a standardized color value within a color gamut of the electronic display device is generated for the desired paint color. The standardized color value is stored in a network-accessible database entry specific to the customer to be retrievable by the customer over a communication network for generating a preview of the desired paint color during a subsequent purchase of paint having the desired paint color by the customer over the communication network.
SPLIT PAYMENT METHOD AND USE THEREOF
A split payment method at a transaction time requires a unique/special password for a payment transaction in the time of creating a split payment definition. A split payment can be initiated before a purchase, relevant confirmations can be received from stakeholders, and the split payment can be addressed with a password defined for a specific purchase. The split payment method also provides a real time authorization mechanism that allows to split the payment amount between the stakeholders.
Automatic price display control by emulation of electronic cash register price lookup
A system and method for distribution of product price and/or sales data in a retail establishment. Product price and/or sales data is stored locally, either in a central computer or master electronic cash register (ECR) or remotely at a master computer. The product price data is stored in the form of a price look-up (PLU) table. The price data can be pushed from the master ECR, local or master computers to and ECR emulation hub to an ECR emulation hub. Similarly, the ECR emulation hub can request product price data from the master ECR, local or master computers. Once the product price data arrives at the ECR emulation hub, it can be processed and sent to a display, which will be located near the appropriate product. The ECR emulation hub can also record and/or transmit prices actually charged for products over time to allow for automatic auditing of promotional pricing offers such as those made by manufacturers of the product. The ECR emulation hub acts like an ECR, thereby requiring no special software or hardware modifications to existing pricing display systems that already support ECRs.
Order registration device, order registration method, and recording medium
An order registration device includes: a processor configured to execute a process that includes: a number-of-people registration process for registering the number of customers related to one transaction; a product registration process for registering a product ordered by the customers; and a display control process for performing control such that a display unit displays a number-of-people button which is a button for inputting the number of orders with respect to the product registered in the product registration process, the same number as the number of customers registered in the number-of-people registration process being set as the number of orders by the number-of-people button.
