ADD-ON APPLICATION FOR POINT OF SALE DEVICE

A point of sale application may initially process a transaction between a customer and a merchant. While the point of sale application processes the transaction, an add-on application may monitor a current state of a user interface of the point of sale application. Upon recognizing a triggering event associated with the current state of the user interface, the add-on application may take over the processing of the transaction from the point of sale application. Upon completion of the processing of the transaction, the add-on application may return a result of the transaction to the point of sale application by emulating user actions on the user interface of the point of sale application.

Mobile Payment Handover for Self Service Terminals

Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for mobile payment handover for self-service terminals. An embodiment operates by generating handover data configured to instruct a user device to settle an amount due. The embodiment further operates by obtaining an electronic confirmation that the amount due has been settled. Subsequently, the embodiment operates by determining that the amount due has been settled responsive to the electronic confirmation.

System, method, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media related to transactions using a mobile device

Techniques for related to retail transaction are disclosed. The techniques involve various uses of a mobile device, such as a cell phone, in authorizing payment for a retail transaction and/or receiving and/or transmitting data to/from the mobile device.

Re-using e-commerce payment instruments for in-store use systems and methods

Provided are a re-using e-commerce payment instruments for in-store purchasing systems and methods. A customer enters a check out and a transaction at the point of sale is started. The system receives a pairing request at a wallet processor from a customer mobile device operating a mobile application. This pairing request is created and sent in response to scanning of a code having a transaction identification. The system associates a customer payment profile with the transaction identification and sends associated information to the point of sale. The point of sale sends an amount of sale to authorize to the wallet processor after completing scanning of items. The system creates an authorization for payment and sending the authorization for payment to an authorizer. The transaction may then be completed by processing payment.

A method for realizing an EMV contact transaction without a password, wherein said method is implemented by an EMV IC card and a terminal, wherein when a terminal receives transaction information, it sets a password-free function setting; performs an offline data validation and limitation; performs terminal risk management and a behavior analysis; determines, on the basis of the password-free function setting, whether to perform online processing and performs transaction termination processing; the password-free function setting comprises: when an optional kernel configuration flag in an application parameter corresponding to the current application acquired is set and the transaction amount in the transaction information is greater than a password-free IC card transaction limitation amount, the current application is configured so that verifying the cardholder's PIN is obviated. The present invention allows password-free small-amount transactions, and obviates to upgrade IC cards.
