ACCOUNT PROVISIONING MANAGER
An account provisioning manager is disclosed. A placeholder account is generated with a primary work set attribute and a plurality of enhanced work set attributes. Initially, the primary work set attribute is populated with data to convert the placeholder account into an onboarded operating account. Subsequently, the plurality of enhanced work set attributes are populated via data propagation into the onboarded operating account, wherein an enhanced work set attribute of the plurality of enhanced work set attributes is selectively populated in response to a trigger for the onboarded operating account.
Systems and methods for transactions using an ATM/credit/debit card and a second communications channel to an account holder's bank
Systems and methods for performing a transaction with a headless point-of-sale or automated teller machine (ATM) device are disclosed using a card having a second communications path to a financial services provider. A card having a display and radio frequency (RF) communications module may be authenticated with a headless point-of-sale device using a short-range RF communications link. Characteristics of the card may be set prior to the transaction. Transaction information may be provided to the display of the card from the headless point-of-sale device. A customer may confirm the transaction at the card using a touch-sensitive input area. During the processing, a communication may be made over the second communications path to authorize the transaction independently of the transaction processing path. A transaction may then be completed at the headless point-of-sale device.
Digital cart monitoring and validation using interprocess communication
A system includes a server and merchant device. The server receives product information for a product scanned by a mobile device. The server stores the product information for the product in a digital cart. The server receives a transaction request from the mobile device, determines that the product is associated with a validation requirement, and transmits a validation request to the merchant device. The server receives, from the merchant device, an indication that the validation requirement is satisfied, processes a transaction, and transmits, to the merchant device, an indication that the transaction is complete. The merchant device receives the validation request, determines that the validation requirement is satisfied, and transmits the indication that the validation requirement is satisfied to the server. The merchant device receives, from the server, the indication that the transaction is complete and displays the indication that the transaction on the display.
SELF-SERVICE TERMINAL AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING SECURITY AT A SELF-SERVICE TERMINAL
A self-service terminal and a method for providing security at a self-service terminal are disclosed, wherein the self-service terminal comprises: an imaging device, configured for providing at least one digital image; at least one processor, configured for applying a facial recognition method to the at least one digital image; and for controlling the self-service terminal using a facial recognition criterion depending on the result of the facial recognition method.
Voice-based in-store digital checkout system
Methods and systems for providing a digital cart management system for use by customers within a retail location. In use, a customer shops within a retail location and adds items to a digital cart as the customer is adding the items to a physical cart, e.g., at least in part by voice input. When the customer is finished shopping, the customer can checkout via a digital process, thereby bypassing point of sale devices at the retail location.
Method of controlling information processor, non-transitory controller-readable medium storing program, and communication system
A POS terminal has: a device driver; a POS application that communicates with a peripheral through the device driver; a filter driver that acquires communication information related to communication performed between the POS application and the peripheral through the device driver; and a failure detection application that acquires communication information from the filter driver over a predetermined period, defines a decision reference according to which a decision is made about an abnormality related to the peripheral, according to the acquired communication information, and makes a decision about an abnormality related to the peripheral through a comparison between the defined decision reference and communication information acquired from the filter driver after the predetermined period.
Method of configuring or changing a configuration of a POS terminal and/or assignment of the POS terminal to an operator
A method of configuring or changing a configuration of a POS terminal by at least one operator, in which an authorization of the operator by the POS terminal is established, in which after successful authorization of the at least one operator, the at least one operator carries out the configuration or change of the configuration, in which an identification feature for identification of the at least one operator is introduced into the POS terminal, in which this identification feature is used for authorizing the at least one operator. A method of associating a POS terminal with an operator, in which the POS terminal checks the integrity of the identification feature of the operator for identification of the operator, with which the POS terminal is associated.
SECURE KINETIC KEY PATTERNS WITH SOFT ASSIST FOR VISION-IMPAIRED USERS
Apparatus and methods for authenticating a user of a transaction device are provided. The methods may include designating an element of the device as a focal point. The methods may include storing the focal point in a transaction system database. The methods may include receiving from the device a gesture pattern. The methods may include determining that the pattern identifies the focal point. The methods may include accepting the focal point. The methods may include authenticating the user. The methods may include receiving, after the authenticating, from the user a personal identification number (“PIN”) that is associated with a transaction card of the user that is not present at the transaction.
Mobile banking system and method
A mobile banking system and method allows an unbanked individual to engage in banking practices that would otherwise not be available to the individual due to the individual not having a bank account and not being able to cash checks, make deposits, etc. The mobile banking system allows the unbanked individual to create a registered system account and become a customer of the system. This system account allows the customer to make deposits at credit unions and merchants who are part of the mobile banking system. The customer can also withdraw funds from a merchant or make purchases from a merchant. The customer can also make donations to a desired donation receiver and create a wallet that allows the customer to allocate funds to cards in the wallet and allow individuals access to the cards and money associated with a card.
METHOD OF TRADING AND SYSTEM OF ITS EMBODIMENT
The method provides for taking by a customer of a shopping cart and passing the entry checkpoint, taking out of products from shelved cabinets with weight sensors and putting into the shopping cart, monitoring the number of products and calculation of the sum payable.Human body communication system is being used.Customer is identified by means of a pre-coded shopping cart when passing through the checkpoint and touching the sensor element of the checkpoint and the cart handle, following which the customer is let into the shopping area.Customer opens cabinet door, retouches its handle and the cart handle simultaneously, also sensor element and the cart handle while going through the checkout barrier. Customer is informed about charged sum, after paying by a card the customer leaves shopping area. The invention provides also a system for embodiment of the mentioned method.
