Integration of third-party electronic transaction processing
Methods and systems are presented for providing a framework to integrate independent fragment modules into an integrated user interface. The fragment modules can be simultaneously rendered on a user interface page or sequentially rendered across multiple user interface pages. The fragment modules are configured to interact with a user via the user interface. The interactions with the user may trigger an event. When an event associated with a fragment module occurs, the fragment module is configured to broadcast the event. An orchestrator is configured to monitor events associated with different fragment modules. The orchestrator may include an event handler for performing one or more action in response to an event. The action may include configuring another fragment module to modify a presentation and/or perform a transaction based on the event.
System and method for matching patrons, servers, and restaurants within the food service industry
A system and method of combining table management software and customer experience skills by generating profiles of patrons, servers, and restaurants by using machine learning algorithms on and location data in those profiles to build more intimate relationships between patrons, food service establishments, and food service professionals. Trait matching provides optimized matchmaking between patrons and servers who share certain commonalities or affinities while also balancing the table management operations. Machine learning algorithms may be used to identify patterns of commonality that would not otherwise be recognized. This system allows patrons to choose servers at an establishment over a plurality of electronic devices by using the cluster analysis results. It provides servers more lateral work experience between participating restaurants, and restaurants more power to operate smoothly and build highly cohesive teams.
GRAPHICAL USER INTERFACES FOR FACILITATING END-TO-END TRANSACTIONS ON COMPUTING DEVICES
Methods and systems for facilitating group payment are disclosed. In one embodiment, a group payment system is configured to execute instructions to perform operations that include receiving, from a first computing device, a request to create a group payment event and, in response, providing to the first computing device a first interface associated with the group payment event. The operations further include receiving, from a second computing device, a request to join the group payment event and, in response, providing a second interface to the second computing device. The operations further include receiving, from the first and/or second computing devices, messages associated with the group payment event and modifying the first and second interfaces to display the messages. The operations further include receiving, from the first and/or second computing devices, financial contributions for the group payment event and modifying the first and second interfaces to display the financial contributions.
CASH REGISTER AND TICKET VENDING WITH MINIMAL INFRASTRUCTURE
Described herein are a cash register and a ticket vending mechanism that require little or no merchant infrastructure resulting in dramatic cost reduction for merchants. These are made possible through a payer-centric payment paradigm where the payer—as opposed to the merchant—completes the payment transaction without depending on the merchant, resulting in increased payer convenience and payment security.
PHYSICAL STAND FOR MULTIPLE DEVICE ORIENTATIONS AND PERIPHERAL CARD READER
There are provided systems and methods for a physical stand for multiple device orientations and peripheral card reader. A device stand may include a dock that allows for placement and securing of a computing device within the device case, such as through a locking or connecting mechanism. The device dock further includes a peripheral component, such as a physical card reader, that allows for reading and entry of card data into the computing device for use with an electronic transaction processing application on the computing device. This allows the computing device to process transactions electronic with an online service provider. Further, the device stand includes a hinge or joint that allows for rotating and inverting of the computing device over a curved extension from a base of the device stand, which allows the computing device to be viewed in multiple directions and orientations.
Systems and methods for point-to-point encryption compliance
Systems and methods for point-to-point encryption compliance are disclosed. In one embodiment, in an information processing apparatus comprising at least one computer processor, a method for point-to-point encryption compliance may include: (1) a payment application receiving, from a data source, payment data encrypted using a first encryption method; (2) the payment application identifying a second encryption method for the payment data; (3) the payment application requesting, from the data source, the payment data encrypted using the second encryption method; and (4) the payment application receiving from the data source, the payment data encrypted using the second encryption method.
MOBILE PAYMENT AND PAYMENT KEYBOARD
Systems, methods, and computer-readable media are described for facilitating payment between mobile devices through respective mobile service providers. Access to a payment system is provided through a universal mobile device keyboard with a payment key embedded within the universal mobile device keyboard. Selecting the payment key may initiate the payment between a user and a message recipient through their respective mobile device accounts.
Identifying consumers in a transaction via facial recognition
A merchant and a user register with a payment processing system, which establishes a facial template based on a user image. The user signs into a payment application via a user computing device, which receives an identifier from a merchant beacon device to transmit to the payment processing system. The payment processing system transmits facial templates to the merchant camera device for other users who are also signed in to the payment application in range of the merchant beacon device. The merchant camera device compares a captured facial image against the received facial templates to identify the user. A merchant POS device operator selects an account of the user. The merchant POS device transmits transaction details to the payment processing system, which processes the transaction with an issuer system. The payment processing system receives an approval of the transaction authorization request and transmits a receipt to the merchant POS device.
System and method for rendering virtual currency related services
Technique introduced here relates to virtual currency related services, and more specifically, to tools for providing crypto or other digital currency (e.g. bitcoin) related services, including bitcoin DNS service, sending bitcoins over social media communication networks, a bitcoin trading platform and secure storage services for bitcoin.
Automatic digital personal assistant interjection for delaying data exchange outcomes
The present disclosure involves systems, software, and computer implemented methods for intercepting data exchange requests and automatically imposing a hold period while the data exchange is evaluated for a user profile initiating the request. One example system includes operations to detect a data exchange request prior to completion of the attempted data exchange, the data exchange request including information defining the attempted data exchange and associated wherein the attempted data exchange is associated with a particular user profile. A portion of the information is transmitted to a data exchange analysis system for execution of a user profile-specific data exchange analysis based on the information and a status of the user profile. A hold state is initiated for the data exchange request while the analysis is performed. The results of the analysis are presented and a confirmation to proceed is required before allowing the attempted data exchange to be processed.
