TOKENIZATION PLATFORM
A tokenization platform that utilizes smart contracts for facilitating token-based transactions for items is disclosed. The system includes an item management system that generates a virtual representation of an item based on item attributes thereof and that generates a smart contract that defines conditions for self-executing a transaction relating to the item. The system includes a tokenization system that generates a digital token that corresponds to the item that is cryptographically linked to the virtual representation thereof. The system also includes a ledger update system that updates a cryptographic ledger with the virtual representation, the digital token, and the smart contract corresponding to the virtual representation, wherein in response to determining that the set of verifiable conditions are satisfied, the smart contract instructs the ledger update system to transfer the digital token to an account of a user that transacted for the item.
TOKENIZATION PLATFORM
In embodiments, a system for tokenizing incompatible currencies is disclosed. The system includes a currency bridge that receives a request to tokenize an amount of currency for a user, verifies verify that the user has the defined amount of currency and that the currency has been locked in an account such that the user is unable to transfer the defined amount of currency from the account, and in response to verifying that the defined amount of currency has been locked, request generation of an NFT in accordance with a tokenization protocol that represents the locked currency. The system includes a token generation system that generates the NFT and a ledger management system that associates the NFT with an account of the user on a cryptographic ledger that stores NFTs that are defined in accordance with the protocol, thereby allowing the user to transact using the NFT.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING SPLIT CONTROL OF MULTIPLE EXECUTION ENVIRONMENTS
The present disclosure describes systems, methods, and computer-readable storage media implementing techniques for providing split control of an execution environment. According to aspects of the disclosure, a first entity may be configured to exert control over presentation related aspects (e.g., the look and feel) of services provided by a second entity, while the second entity may exert control over backend processing and execution of the services. To facilitate the different portions of the split control, one or more servers may be configured to provide a first execution layer, a second execution layer, and a second execution layer control panel. The first execution layer may perform operations for executing the provisioning of the service. The second execution layer may perform operations for presenting the computing/execution environment for providing the service, and the second execution environment control panel may provide the first entity to customize/modify presentation related aspects of the computing/execution environment.
INFORMATION PROVISION SYSTEM AND INFORMATION PROVISION METHOD
According to one embodiment, After a payment is completed, the notification unit notifies transaction information and a transaction code. The issuing unit issues a voucher on which a visible code representing the transaction code is printed. The creation unit creates provision information based on the notified transaction information. The created provision information is stored in the storage unit in a state of being associated with the transaction code. The reading unit optically reads the visible code that is printed on the voucher. The request unit makes a request for information provision, which is accompanied by the notification of the transaction code that is represented by the visible code. The transaction unit transmits the provision information that is stored in the state of being associated with the transmission code that is notified. The output unit outputs the provision information that is transmitted.
Peer-to-peer prepaid card management system
A method for peer-to-peer prepaid card accounts can create a prepaid card that can receive donations through a QR code disposed on the physical card. Restrictions can also be placed on the card to control where or how the funds may be used. The method can, in response to receiving a request at a card management service to create an account, obtain account information, wherein the account information comprises a user name, an account number, a QR code image, and optionally a biometric data. The account information can be stored as a card account for the user, which is funded by receiving a payment from a second party using the QR code. Then, when a card holder uses the card for a transaction, the card management service can function as an issuer to authorize its use.
Method and apparatus for an automated fuel authorization program for fuel terminals using a camera as part of the authorization process
A fuel authorization system enables data to be exchanged between vehicles and a fuel vendor, to verify that the vehicle is authorized to receive fuel. Each fuel island is equipped with a camera and a short range radio (RF) component. Participating vehicles are equipped with fuel authorization component including an IR transmitter and a RF component that can establish a data link with the fuel island's RF unit. When the camera senses a vehicle in the fuel lane, an RF query is sent to the vehicle. Participating vehicles respond with an IR transmission. An RF data link is then established between the enrolled vehicle and the fuel vendor to verify that the vehicle is authorized to receive fuel. Once the verification is complete, the fuel dispenser is enabled. In some embodiments, the IR data link is not required, as the camera can distinguish between multiple fuel lanes.
METHOD AND PORTABLE APPARATUS FOR SETTLING TRANSACTION
A method and portable apparatus for settling a transaction are provided, in which the portable apparatus may be used as a card substitute payment device for settling a transaction. Information to conduct a settlement may be stored in the portable apparatus. The portable apparatus may be, for example, a portable phone or a PDA. A transaction inquiry machine may read or receive the information from the portable apparatus, similar to that of a card reader reading a magnetic card, and transmit the information to a VAN company server or a card company server, to then request for an approval to settle the transaction.
Profit Share Card
A method of promoting a business of goods and services by a business entity is provided. The method involves sharing a proportion of the profit made by the business entity from a customer with the customer, wherein a proportion of the bill amount incurred by the customer is credited to an account/record associated with the customer and the customer could redeem a certain proportion of the accumulated balance in his/her record during their subsequent purchases. The shared profit could entice potential customers and bring back the old customers, without the need for the business entity to spend on advertisements, or providing discount coupons and vouchers.
UPDATING EXCHANGE ITEMS WITH DYNAMIC TEMPORARY CONDITIONS INFORMATION
A method begins with a marketplace server obtaining temporary conditions information from temporary conditions sources of the data communication system, where the temporary conditions information includes one or more of a temporary condition identifier, a temporary condition type, and a temporary condition value. The method continues with the marketplace server obtaining exchange item information for a plurality of exchange items of the data communication system, where an exchange item of the plurality of exchange items is associated with an exchange item rule set and an exchange item data file. For the exchange item of the plurality of exchange items, the method continues with the marketplace server determining whether first temporary conditions information of the temporary conditions information is compatible with the exchange item rule set, and when compatible, updating the exchange item data file based on the first temporary conditions information to produce an updated exchange item data file.
VALIDATING DIGITAL CONTENT PRESENTED ON A MOBILE DEVICE
A computer system includes a content delivery system that delivers digital content from a source to a mobile device, which in turn presents the digital content to a recipient computer system. The recipient computer system can validate that the digital content presented by the mobile device is authorized by the source of that digital content without the recipient computer system communicating with the content delivery system for such validation. A digital coupon presented on a mobile phone can be validated by a retailer as being authorized by a coupon issuer, such as a manufacturer, without the retailer having a point-of-sale system with a connection to a centralized database. To perform such validation, the computer system uses i) a transaction location determined at the time of a transaction based on information received from the mobile device, and ii) a time-varying, non-predictable code associated with the transaction location.
