MANAGING SECURE APP-LESS DISTRIBUTION OF CUSTOMIZED TRANSACTION CARDS TO ONLINE DIGITAL WALLETS WITH INSTANT APPS
Customized instant apps are generated for transaction cards based on at least sender information, receiver information, and transaction information. The instant apps are executed by an operating system without previous installation by the operating system and are discarded after execution. A receiver device executes the transaction card instant app in order to transfer the transaction card to an online digital wallet. This process can be completed without burdening users to sign into online digital wallet systems to manually transfer transaction cards.
Electronic method for instantly creating an account with a service provider during point of sale
Systems and processes are provided for instantly creating a user account with a payment service provider at a point of sale. The system and processes may include a computerized payment processing system for receiving personally identifiable information from a payment card of a customer provided at a merchant terminal and creating a user account based on the personally identifiable information. A personal identification number (PIN) associated with the user account may be generated and electronically delivered to the customer via an electronic messaging system for verification.
TRADING ANALYTICS FOR CRYPTOGRAPHIC TOKENS THAT LINK TO REAL WORLD OBJECTS
Systems and methods that generate data representing an analytic result relating to at least one of a state, a workflow, or an event in a digital token system, including a digital token system that cryptographically links a set of digital tokens to instances of a set of real-world entities. The systems and methods produce a trading analytic by processing a set of collected data, structuring and filtering the collected data to obtain a multi-dimensional structured data set, and querying the multi-dimensional structured data set. Systems and methods further leverage a set of data collection services configured to collect data from one or more interfaces, a set of workflows configured to produce event data, and a data store configured to store collected attribute data.
INITIATING A WORKFLOW IN A DIGITAL TOKEN TRANSACTION SYSTEM BASED ON A RECOGNIZED ACTIVITY IN A CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Systems and methods for tokenizing real-world items for use in digital commerce are disclosed. In some embodiments, a recognized activity in a workflow of a customer relationship management system triggers a workflow for a set of digital tokens associated with the recognized activity in a digital token transaction system.
Ecommerce systems and methods for purchasing gifts and parts of gifts using crowdfunding methodologies and social media platforms
A computer-implemented method of purchasing gifts includes under control of one or more configured computing systems, selecting a gift item desired by a gift recipient, maintaining a list for the gift recipient that includes the selected gift item, and assigning a sales price to the selected gift item on the list. On a visual display, a processor is used for dividing the selected gift item into two or more gift parts that are available for individual purchase by gift contributors. The selected gift item is divided into the two or more gift parts on the visual display by showing a boundary on the visual display that defines a bounded area, showing the selected gift item on the visual display, inside the bounded area and surrounded by the boundary, and generating at least one dividing line inside the bounded area that divides the bounded area into two or more individual sections that are visible on the visual display, whereby each of the gift parts is located inside a different one of the individual sections. A monetary value is assigned to each of the respective gift parts that is less than the sales price assigned to the selected gift item. Gift contributors can purchase at least one of the gift parts at the monetary value assigned thereto and leave comments that are unique to the gift part.
Person-to-person gift offers based on user actions
In one embodiment, a method includes, by one or more computing devices associated with a payment service, receiving, by the payment service and from a first client device associated with a sender, a request for a digital gift to be added to a payment account of a recipient, identifying, one or more recommended digital gifts for the recipient based on transaction history of the recipient on the payment service, where the one or more digital gifts are identified using a machine-learning model trained using a transaction history of one or more users of the payment service, providing, in response to receiving a selection of one of the recommended digital gifts from the first client device, and sending, by the payment service to a second client device associated with the recipient, a notification that the sender has provided the recipient with the identified digital gift.
SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR ENHANCED AUTHORIZATION OF PREPAID CARDS
A computer-implemented method for enhancing authorization of prepaid payment cards is provided. The method is implemented using an interchange network and an authorization computing device in communication with a memory. The method includes routing communications between a plurality of merchants and a plurality of issuing banks, providing transaction data for transactions by a plurality of prepaid payment cards, storing a plurality of transaction histories associated with the plurality of prepaid payment cards, receiving, over the interchange network, an authorization request for a payment transaction between a cardholder and an originating merchant initiated using a prepaid payment card, determining a likelihood of a second amount for a related payment transaction from the originating merchant, determining a transaction history associated with the prepaid payment card, determining whether there are sufficient funds associated with the prepaid payment card for the first and second amounts, and notifying the originating merchant of the determination.
TRANSACTION AUTHENTICATION
Methods, computer program products, and apparatus for open tab transactions. A customer device, e.g., a smart phone, can generate an order for purchasing one or more goods or services from a merchant. A list of the items can be stored in a data structure designated as a tab. The list is routed to a merchant device, e.g., a tablet computer. The customer device can be carried by a user to the merchant. When the user reaches the merchant, the customer device or merchant device can receive a request to add an additional item to the list. The tab remains open and modifiable until the customer device or merchant device receives an input to close it. Payment for the goods or services listed in the modified tab is processed upon closing of the tab.
Techniques for transferring digital tokens
In embodiments of the disclosure a method is disclosed for exchanging digital tokens from a message-based application is disclosed. The method includes displaying, by a digital wallet GUI, an inventory of tokens that are owned by a user. Each token is linked to a virtual representation of an item and redeemable for an instance of the item. The method also includes receiving an instruction to transfer a digital token from the inventory of tokens to a recipient and displaying a keyboard that includes a selectable media content that represents the item linked to the token. The method also includes receiving a selection of the media content and embedding a token identifier of the token in a text-based message that is sent to the recipient, such that the recipient can select the selectable media content to accept to the digital token into a respective digital wallet of the recipient.
Detachable radio frequency identification switch tag
A radio frequency identification (RFID) switch tag is disclosed. This RFID switch tag includes a base component having an ultra-high frequency (UHF) booster, and a detachable component having at least one UHF RFID module and a high frequency (HF) RFID module. In some embodiments, the detachable component is positioned in close proximity to the base component in a first configuration of the RFID switch tag such that the at least one UHF RFID module is sufficiently coupled to the UHF booster in the base component to form an UHF RFID system having a desired performance. The detachable component can also be separated from the base component to obtain a second configuration of the RFID switch tag, and the HF RFID module remains functional within the detached detachable component so that the detachable component can be used as a standalone HF RFID tag.
