The electronic lock includes a lock clue and a lock solution. The method includes determining an answer input field configuration that includes a number of input boxes and spaces that may be arranged to correspond to the lock solution. The method includes transmitting the lock clue and the input field configuration to a second computing device associated with a recipient for display by the second computing device and receiving an attempted lock solution from the second computing device. The method further includes transmitting the electronic item to the second computing device for display or use by the second computing device in response to determining that the attempted lock solution matches the lock solution.

A transaction processing platform capable of facilitating the distribution to consumers of various types of prepaid products is disclosed. The transaction processing platform is configured to interface with one or more providers of such prepaid products in order to facilitate the procurement or activation of the products. The platform includes a conduit interface through which service request messages are received and respectively utilized to generate transaction requests for corresponding types of prepaid services. A supply interface arrangement, operatively coupled to the conduit interface, is configured to route a first of the transaction requests through a first supply interface associated with a first type of prepaid service. The supply interface arrangement also routes a second transaction request through a second supply interface associated with a second type of prepaid service. The platform is also configured to provide supplier response information received through the supply interfaces to the conduit interface.

METHOD OF PROVIDING ON A MOBILE ELECTRONIC DEVICE ACCESS TO A NUMBER OF SOURCES OF PRE-ESTABLISHED FUNDS
A method and apparatus provide on a mobile electronic device access to a number of gift cards. The gift cards are stored in a virtual wallet and can be retrieved by the user, whereupon an indicium such as a barcode, QR code, or other indicium is visually displayed or is otherwise output on the mobile electronic device. The indicium can be detected by another device, such as a barcode scanner or a wireless transceiver of a point-of-sale retail system, in order to enable a transaction to be performed using the funds that are associated with the selected gift card. When the user is within a predetermined proximity of a predetermined location, a notification is communicated to the mobile electronic device advising that a gift card in the virtual wallet is available for use at the predetermined location and/or suggesting the purchase gift card that is usable at the predetermined location.

A transaction card product comprising a transaction card, an account identifier, a security panel, and an activation code. The account identifier uniquely links the transaction card to a remote account having a balance value available for redemption toward one or more of goods or services. The security panel is coupled to the transaction card and substantially entirely covers the account identifier. The security panel is configured to be at least partially removed from a remainder of the transaction card product to permit access to the account identifier. The activation code has data therein to prompt a point-of-sale terminal to begin a transaction card activation process, the activation code having a first portion directly secured to and extending over the security panel, wherein the activation code is characterized by an absence of any data directly identifying the remote account.

A marker on the document is identified. The marker is associated with an area of obfuscated text on the document. The marker is scanned using the AR device. When the user of the AR device is authenticated, a non-obfuscated image of the text associated with the marker is displayed on the AR device.
