Disclosed are systems and methods to manage financial transactions based on an intent-to-spend fungible funds based on a set of rules. In one aspect, a computer-implemented method receives, by an intent money manager computer (IMMC), a message from an intent-issuing entity, the message including a request to create an intent-to-spend account and a set of rules defining a spending methodology for fungible funds of the intent-to-spend account. The IMMC creates the intent-to-spend account based on the message, and sends, based on the creating, a notification to a participating financial institution, where the notification includes information relating to the intent-to-spend account and the set of rules defining the spending methodology for the fungible funds deposited in the intent-to-spend account, and where the participating financial institution, upon receipt of the notification, enables users to enroll in an intent-to-spend program associated with the intent-to-spend account via at least one banking channel.

TOKEN MANAGEMENT SERVER AND METHOD OF PROCESSING LIMITED-USE TOKENS
20250252418 · 2025-08-07 ·

A computer server includes a memory and a data processor. The memory stores a token database and computer processing instructions. The computer processing instructions cause the data processor to receive from a POS station via a payment network a token authorization request that includes a limited-use token and an authorization value, locate in the token database a token record that stores a subledger identifier in association with the limited-use token, and extract the subledger identifier from the located token record. The computer processing instructions also cause the data processor to locate in a subledger database a subledger that is associated with the subledger identifier, confirm that a balance value associated with the located subledger is at least equal to the authorization value, and initiate a transfer from a pooling ledger, distinct from the subledger, of a transfer amount that is equal to the authorization value.

AUTOMATIC LOCATION-BASED TRANSACTION SERVICE TRIGGER
20250252361 · 2025-08-07 ·

A computer system can implement a network transaction service by monitoring location data from a computing device of a user to confirm that the user is located at a merchant location, receiving transaction data from a point-of-sale terminal of the merchant location, and confirming that the user has left the merchant location based on the location data. The computer system may then automatically execute a transfer operation to fund the transaction using a shared funding account of the network transaction service such that no direct payment interaction is made between the user and the merchant.

Stored-value card management method and system

A computerized system for activating, issuing and otherwise managing transactions and activities pertaining to stored-value cards over a communications network. A central information database is provided for storing stored-value cardholder and card purchaser information received directly from respective stored-value cardholders and card purchasers PCs through a universal central processor via respective communication gateways. The central processor is coupled for communication realtime to multiple unaffiliated stored-value card processing networks normally operated by respective hosts. Each network includes a stored-value card processor coupled to a stored-value card database and multiple respective merchant communication devices. The central processor is programmed for managing the activation and issuance of transactions and activities for the stored-value card through the respective unaffiliated networks. The universal central processor is programmed to issue the stored-value cards directly to the cardholder or card purchaser by download over respective communication gateways. The universal central processor is further programmed for reporting the card activations, issuances, transactions and activities to the cardholders and the merchants thereby providing a universal management system.

Systems and methods for digital account activation

A method, user device, and computer-readable storage media for registering and activating accounts is provided. A method includes: transmitting, by a user device to a computing system, an input from a user regarding opening an account at an institution associated with the computing system; establishing, by the user device, a communication session based on exchanging encryption keys between the user device and the computing system; in response to establishing the communication session, automatically installing, by the user device, a client application; displaying, via the client application on the user device, a graphical user interface (GUI) comprising a request for a user verification; transmitting, by the user device via the communication session, a received user verification to the computing system; and receiving, by the user device, an indication of an activation of the account at the institution from the computing system.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONDITIONALLY GIFTING FUNDS
20250265573 · 2025-08-21 ·

Described herein are examples of gift card management systems that provide gift cards that must be activated prior to being used in a transaction. In some examples, a purchaser may be refunded some or all of a purchase price for the gift card when the gift card is not activated. In some examples, the activation may additionally include certain safeguards to prevent fraud.

Techniques for digital token-based collaralization and lending

In embodiments of the present invention, methods are provided for receiving a request to collateralize a collateral item of a user seeking a loan, along with information and a photograph of the collateral item. A processing system may generate a virtual representation of the collateral item based on the information and photograph and generate a digital token based on the virtual representation. Ownership of the digital token may be assigned to the user seeking the loan and an instance of a smart contract governing the loan may be generated and deployed, the instance of the smart contract indicating an amount to be paid back by the user to the lender and one or more conditions that cause ownership of the digital token to be transferred to the lender.

System Method and Apparatus for Enhanced Gift Cards
20250272671 · 2025-08-28 ·

An enhanced gift card and system include the enhanced gift card and prizes. One of each or multiple of the prizes are pre-assigned to one of the enhanced gift cards. After a purchaser buys the enhanced gift card and either uses or gifts the enhanced gift card to someone, a test is made to see if the enhanced gift card was purchased and if this enhanced gift card is associated with a prize and, if so, the prize is awarded to the purchaser or recipient. In one embodiment, an indication of the prize is on the enhanced gift card and occluded by material that is scratched off to reveal the prize.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZED TRANSFER OF DIGITAL ASSETS

A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes: generating a unique code for a recipient of a value storage token; sending, to a messaging address associated with the recipient, a first message including a link for accessing a token provider selection interface; detecting activation of the link by the recipient; in response to detecting activation of the link by the recipient, providing, on a computing device associated with the recipient, the token provider selection interface; receiving, via the token provider selection interface, a selection of a first token provider; and in response to receiving the selection of the first token provider, sending a digital representation of the value storage token to the messaging address associated with the recipient.
