Provisioning of payment acceptance to payment account holders

A method includes receiving a request for enrollment from a user at a wallet service provider (WSP) computer, and enrolling the user in the WSP computer. A message is transmitted to the user to query the user about accepting payment card account system transactions. A response to the message, from the user, is received in the WSP computer. The WSP computer downloads, to a device operated by the user, a list of acquirer financial institutions. The WSP computer receives, from the device operated by the user, an indication that the user has selected one of the acquirer financial institutions from the list. An application program supplied by the selected acquirer financial institution is downloaded to the device operated by the user.

System and method for processing digital coupons

A computer system includes a processor, a communication interface, and a database. The communication interface is configured to receive, from a computing device, a coupon request message, wherein the message includes a first unique coupon program ID. The processor is programmed with computer-executable instructions that cause the processor to extract, from the coupon request message, the first unique coupon program ID. In addition, the processor matches the first unique coupon program ID to a second unique coupon program ID stored in the database. Furthermore, the processor generates, by a token service system, a digital coupon token. The digital coupon token is associated with the first and second unique coupon program IDs. Moreover, the processor is programmed to transmit the digital coupon token to the computing device.

COMPUTING SYSTEM IMPLEMENTING A NETWORK TRANSACTION SERVICE

A computer system can receive position information indicating a current location of a user of the network transaction service from a computing device of the user, and generate map content for display on the computing device of the user based on the position information. The map content can indicate locations of a plurality of merchants within a vicinity of the current location of the user that utilize the network transaction service. The system can receive a transaction request from the computing device of the user, the transaction request indicating a transaction amount and a specified merchant of the plurality of merchants. The system then executes a remote transaction operation to transfer funds from a shared account of the network transaction service to a merchant account of the specified merchant to fulfill the transaction request.

MULTI-FUNCTION ELECTRONIC PAYMENT CARD AND DEVICE SYSTEM

Embodiments include multi-function electronic payment card and device systems capable of generating a programmed magnetic field of alternating polarity based on a speed of a card swipe, and methods for constructing the device for the purpose of emulating a standard credit card. An apparatus is described to allow the device to emulate behavior of a credit card when used in electronic credit card readers. Additionally methods are described to allow user control of the device for the purpose of authorizing or controlling use of the device in the application of credit, debit and cash transactions, including cryptocurrency and card-to-card transactions. Methods are also described for generating a limited-duration credit card number when performing a transaction for the purpose of creating a limited-use credit card number, which is limited in scope of use to a predetermined number of authorized transactions. Furthermore the device may interact with other similar devices in proximity for the purpose of funds or credit/debit transfers.

SYSTEM AND NETWORK FOR ACCESS CONTROL TO REAL PROPERTY USING MOBILE IDENTIFICATION CREDENTIAL

A provider system is connected to one or more readers corresponding to one or more access points. A secure local connection is established between the user device and the provider system via one reader. The provider system receives from the user device a request for user access via one access point corresponding to the one reader, the provider system sends to the user device a request for identification information of the user, and the user device sends user information associated with a first mobile identification credential (MIC) which the user device received from an authorizing party system (APS), the user having consented to release the user information to the provider system, and the user information having been verified. The provider system uses the verified user information associated with the first MIC to verify or not verify the identity of the user before granting or denying the request to the user.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR USING A TRANSACTION TO COLLECT ADDITIONAL TRANSACTION INFORMATION
20220108278 · 2022-04-07 · ·

Disclosed are systems and methods for using a transaction to collect additional transaction information. The method may include: receiving transaction information indicating that a transaction of one or more products and/or services has been made by a user from a merchant; when the transaction information is received, scanning a user e-mail account to identify a receipt for the transaction within an e-mail of the user e-mail account, wherein the receipt is indicative of a transaction price; when the receipt for the transaction is identified: extracting information of the one or more products and/or services from the receipt; and based on the extracted information, automatically generating and submitting a price adjustment claim for the one or more products and/or services when a price lower than the transaction price is found; and when the receipt for the transaction cannot be identified: automatically submitting information about a missing receipt to a fraud system.

Dynamic code payment card verification

Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for authorizing a payment card transaction using dynamic codes. The system can receive a request for authorization of a transaction using the payment card. The request can identify a verification code associated with the payment card and an identifier of the payment card, and the payment card can have an associated dynamic code accessible to a user via a channel. The verification code can be compared with a value of the dynamic code at the time of the transaction. The system can determine whether the user of the payment card accessed the channel within a time period prior to receiving the request for authorization. In response to the verification code matching the dynamic code at the time of the transaction and determining that the user accessed the channel within the time period prior to receiving the request, the system can authorize the transaction.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MERCHANT AND PERSONAL TRANSACTIONS USING MOBILE IDENTIFICATION CREDENTIAL

In an example involving a transaction conducted between a first party using a user mobile-identification-credential device (UMD) and a second party using a relying party system (RPS), RPS receives a request from UMD for transfer of an item, requests identification information of the first party from UMD, receives, based on consent of the first party, some or all user ID information associated with a mobile identification credential (MIC) which UMD received from an authorizing party system (APS), receives verification of the received user ID information, uses the verified user ID information to verify or not verify an identity of the first party, grants the request to transfer the item in exchange for payment or another item to be transferred from the first party to the second party when the identity of the first party is verified, and denies the request when the identity of the first party is not verified.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR GENERATING USER INTERFACES FOR CUSTOM CARD DESIGN SESSION

Customized financial transaction cards may be generated using a custom card design session. A consumer device may request a custom card design session for a first financial institution. A consumer user interface template and configuration information for the consumer user interface template are retrieved responsive to the request from the consumer device, where the configuration information corresponds to the first financial institution. A user interface to the custom card design session is generated by configuring configurable elements of the consumer user interface template based on a session context of the request from the consumer device and the configuration information. The user interface is provided to the consumer device and a custom card design generated through interaction with the user interface is provided to an administrative device associated with the first financial institution.
