Single-use multi-layered ticket and redeeming technique
A ticket for managing cryptocurrency. The ticket incorporates a redeeming code in combination with a loading code for activating the redeeming code. At the same time, however, the loading code also prohibits access to the underlying redeeming code, thereby preventing use. Therefore, in order to access the redeeming code and redeem the ticket of cryptocurrency, the loading code is inherently destroyed by removal. Thus, the ticket is no longer practically able to be re-loaded and is thus, single-use, thereby aiding in user understanding and management of cryptocurrency.
Systems and methods for ghost card creation via a browser extension
Embodiments of the systems and methods described herein can detect that a user is accessing a payment webpage of a website associated with a merchant. The system can cause a window requesting authentication credentials associated with an account of the user to appear on a display of a computing device associated with the user. After the system has received and verified the authentication credentials, the system can create a merchant-specific virtual card linked to a pre-existing payment instrument associated with the account. The system can enter information associated with the merchant-specific virtual card in a payment section of the payment webpage. After receiving an authorization request for a transaction using the merchant-specific virtual card, the system can authorize the transaction based on a balance of the pre-existing payment instrument.
ONLINE TRANSACTION INFRASTRUCTURE AND PROCESSES
A method of authorizing payment for an online transaction according to a credit plan using a payment scheme infrastructure. A real and a virtual account number for a credit plan for a transaction are received from a credit issuer. The transaction is received for authorization from a merchant gatewaythe transaction is completed for the virtual card number. The payment scheme infrastructure uses the virtual card number to obtain or confirm authorization for the credit plan, and recovers the real account number from the virtual card number to obtain authorization of the transaction from an issuer for the real account number. In this way the transaction is authorized if the credit plan is authorized and the transaction is authorized by the issuer for the real account number using suitable methods and apparatus at the payment scheme infrastructure, at the credit issuer computing system, and at the merchant computing system.
Angle adjustable coulter wheel assembly
An angle adjustable coulter wheel assembly includes a rotatable shank having a longitudinal axis defined by an upper portion of the shank. The longitudinal axis is oriented neither vertically or horizontally with respect to the ground when the assembly is mounted on a tillage apparatus. A coulter wheel rotatably mounted on the shank proximate a lower portion of the shank. An actuator rotates the upper portion of the shank about the longitudinal axis to cause the face of the coulter wheel to rotate about three orthogonal axes thereby changing orientation of the face of the coulter wheel with respect to the ground when the assembly is on the tillage apparatus. The coulter wheel assembly permits adjusting the angle of the coulter wheel in at least two planes permitting greater control over how much soil the coulter wheel disturbs during tilling.
System and methods for enhanced authorization of prepaid cards
A computer-implemented method for enhancing authorization of prepaid payment cards is provided. The method is implemented using an interchange network and an authorization computing device in communication with a memory. The method includes routing communications between a plurality of merchants and a plurality of issuing banks, providing transaction data for transactions by a plurality of prepaid payment cards, storing a plurality of transaction histories associated with the plurality of prepaid payment cards, receiving, over the interchange network, an authorization request for a payment transaction between a cardholder and an originating merchant initiated using a prepaid payment card, determining a likelihood of a second amount for a related payment transaction from the originating merchant, determining a transaction history associated with the prepaid payment card, determining whether there are sufficient funds associated with the prepaid payment card for the first and second amounts, and notifying the originating merchant of the determination.
Using card present transaction data to generate payment transaction account
A computer-implemented method for providing payment account information in a user account by receiving payment card information by a card reader at a point of sale. An account can be created when the payment card information is read by the card reader. Optionally, a gift card can be scanned prior to the creation of the account, and the gift card information can be combined with the payment card information. The gift card can be an electronic gift card which can be personalized with textual, visual, video, and/or audio portions.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR GENERATING AND PROCESSING A GIFT TRANSACTION
Provided are techniques for generating and processing a gift card transaction. A hyperlink specific to the purchase of a gift card from a merchant is made available to a user. The hyperlink is selectable to initiate a purchase of a gift card that can be applied towards the purchase of goods and/or services offered by the merchant. When the user selects the hyperlink, the user is redirected to a website associated with a payment provider to complete the transaction for the purchase of the gift card. Funds for the purchase of the gift card are deposited by the payment provider into a temporary account associated with the merchant. When a valid use of the gift card is made with the merchant, at least a portion of the funds deposited in the holding account are distributed to the merchant.
Method and device for communicating transactional data
A method and system for communicating transactional data determines gift card data from a gift card offered for sale by a customer and customer information about the customer from an identity document of the customer. The gift card data is associated with the customer information. A balance of the gift card is determined based at least partly on the gift card data. A purchase offer for purchasing the gift card from the customer is calculated based at least partly on the balance. If the balance of the gift card changes, a fraud alert may be associated with the customer information of the customer.
SYSTEM, DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DIGITAL PAYMENT
A system, apparatus and a method for purchasing goods with a digital wallet application is disclosed. The digital wallet application is configured to perform a payment from a user digital wallet module by a near field communication (NFC) radio of a mobile device. The mobile application is configured to upload a first token with a user creditability to the user digital wallet to enable a purchase, receive from the user digital wallet module a request for an amount of payment, receive approval for the payment from a user server and transfer the amount of payment to a merchant, remove the first token from the user digital wallet module; and upload a second token with the user creditability information for use in the next purchase, wherein the second token comprises a different identification code than the first token.
Systems and methods for ghost card creation via a browser extension
Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for identifying that a user is accessing a retailer or service provider website and automatically enabling an interactive window that includes personalized user information. The system can detect that the user is accessing a payment webpage associated with the website, and, in response, generate a selectable list of payment instruments associated with the user. When the user selects a payment instrument, the system can create an electronic ghost card linked to the payment instrument and the electronic ghost card information can be input into the payment webpage.
