CONVERTIBLE APRON
A convertible apron includes an apron body, at least one tie attached to the apron body, and a plurality of fasteners. The apron body can fold along a fold line to transition the convertible apron between a full length configuration and a short configuration. The at least one tie can secure the convertible apron to a waste of a wearer. The plurality of fasteners are securely positioned on the apron body and include at least one bottom fastener associated with a bottom edge of the apron body, and at least one complementary fastener located vertically above the at least one bottom fastener. Each bottom fastener of the at least one bottom fastener can selectively couple with a respective complementary fastener of the at least one complementary fastener to releasably retain the convertible apron in the short configuration.
ELECTROADHESIVE ACTUATORS WITH EXTENDED LIFE
An adaptive wearable article can include an electroadhesive clutch secures to a textile and extending around at least a portion of an opening. The clutch can include a first conductive member and a first polymeric substrate applied to the first conductive member and having a stiffness greater than a stiffness of the first conductive member, and the clutch can include a second electrode assembly comprising a second conductive ember configured to partially overlay the first conductive member. The second electrode assembly can include a second conductive member and a second polymeric substrate applied to the second conductive member, the second polymeric substrate having a stiffness greater than a stiffness of the second conductive member, wherein the first and second conductive members are proximate each other with the first and second polymeric substrates distal with respect to each other.
Grow wear
A garment configured with an adjustment mechanism to add or subtract measurements at its hem is implemented to provide a parent or wearer more control over their garment's size. The size can be permanently adjustable so that the wearer can change the length of the garment daily. Exemplary garments can include pants, jeans, leggings, shorts, shirts, dresses, skirts, pajamas, coats, jackets, etc. The garment is configured with an upper connection segment, middle connection segment, and lower connection segment positioned on the garment's interior (i.e., the inside-out section). In typical implementations, the connection segments are arranged near an end portion of a garment, such as at or near the bottom of a pair of pants, the sleeves of a shirt, the bottom of a skirt, etc.
Bustle device to be received under garments
A bustle device is disclosed herein. The bustle device comprises a cylindrical detent casing comprising a plurality of detent grooves. The cylindrical detent casing is hollow. The bustle device further comprises a cylindrical telescoping member movably disposed at a first end of the cylindrical detent casing. The cylindrical telescoping member comprises a projection to be received into a particular detent groove of the plurality of detent grooves of the cylindrical detent casing. The cylindrical telescoping member comprises a first connector to be detachably connected to a top side of a garment. Moreover, the bustle device comprises a U-shaped member connected to a second end of the cylindrical detent casing. The U-shaped member comprises a second connector to be detachably connected to a bottom side of a garment.
