The invention relates to a computer system and method for the video surveillance of at least one stage of a golf course (10) comprising at least one hole (40) and at least one tee (20). The video surveillance system (100) comprises video means (110), first electronic storage means (120), and data communication means (130), which are mounted on a support element (150). The video surveillance system (100) further comprises video processing means (140) for detecting the occurrence of a predetermined event involving a played golf ball, on the basis of a played-ball trajectory signal, of the position of the hole (40) and of the position of the tee (20).
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR ADAPTIVE TRANSCEIVER IN MOBILE DEVICES
A method conducted using a mobile device is disclosed. The mobile device comprises a contactless application including a bridging module, a computer readable medium comprising a contactless kernel, wherein the contactless kernel includes a transceiver interface coupled to a processor. The mobile device includes a contactless element coupled to the processor. The method includes receiving a trigger signal indicative of a transaction to be executed. In response to receiving the trigger signal, the contactless kernel transmits first data to the bridging module. The contactless kernel is operable in a first mode of communication. The bridging module transforms the first data in the first mode of communication to first data in a second mode of communication and passes the first data to the contactless element. The contactless element transmits the first data to a user device, and thereafter receives second data from the user device to execute the transaction.
SMART CARD READ/WRITE METHOD AND APPARATUS
A smart card read/write method is performed at a terminal, including: sensing a touch event of a smart card, and obtaining an application identifier corresponding to the touch event; searching for a third-party application link corresponding to the application identifier, and capturing and displaying a web page corresponding to the third-party application link, the web page comprising a function menu and an instruction script corresponding to options in the function menu being preselected from a preset standard script library; obtaining an option triggered in the function menu on the web page, and sending a smart card control request to a platform application server by executing an instruction script corresponding to the triggered option; and receiving a smart card control instruction returned by the platform application server, and invoking a corresponding interface function according to the smart card control instruction to read/write the smart card.
Two piece dual layer transaction device
A two part dual layer transaction device comprising a computerized master unit powered by rechargeable battery, the master unit capable of connecting wirelessly to a data network and accessing at least one network server, the master unit having a length, a width, and an internal volume, and a transaction card element having a form factor acceptable for use as a debit or credit card, wherein the transaction card element may be docked or otherwise coupled to the master unit in an idle state and may be uncoupled by the user for the purpose using or cleaning the card element.
TRANSACTION OBJECT READER WITH ANALOG AND DIGITAL SIGNAL INTERFACE
A card reader includes a digital connector such as a Universal Serial Bus (USB) plug or an Apple® Lightning® plug. The digital connector includes a corresponding connector interface, which provides voltage to at least a card reader interface and an integrated circuit (IC) of the card reader. The card reader interface outputs an analog transaction information signal upon reading the card. The IC generates a digital version of the analog transaction information signal, encrypts the digital version, converts that into an analog audio signal. The audio signal can then be sent to the connector interface, which converts it into a digital signal such as a USB or Apple® Lightning® signal that is sent by the digital connector to a mobile device. Alternately, the audio signal can be sent to a microcontroller that converts the audio signal to a digital format such as USB, and then to the digital connector.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR OPTIMIZING ROUTING OF TRANSACTIONS OVER A COMPUTER NETWORK
A system and a method of optimizing an organizational structure (OS) of an organization may include: receiving one or more data elements pertaining to the OS; receiving a value of one or more transaction parameters pertaining to one or more transactions conducted over one or more nodes of a first computer network; perturbating a value of one or more OS elements; creating a simulated computer network based on the one or more perturbated values; for each network of the first computer network and the simulated computer network, calculating a value of at least one OS performance parameter; and generating, based on the calculation, a suggestion for optimizing the OS, wherein the suggestion may include at least one perturbated OS element value.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EMBEDDING INTERACTIVE EXPERIENCES ONTO PAYMENT CARDS
A system for embedding interactive experiences onto a payment card and methods for making and utilizing the same. The system can include creating an embedded interactive experience on a payment device and performing an action relative to a payment device user and/or a payment associated with the payment device via the embedded interactive experience. In selected embodiments, the embedded interactive experience can be changed dynamically. The embedded interactive experience can be changed, for example, by the payment device user, by remote software commands or automatically based on information about the payment device user and recent purchases made via the payment device. Advantageously, the system can provide a process by which interactive experiences can be embedded into the payment device in a manner that can be controlled by an interface, such as a digital (i.e., mobile or web) interface presented via a mobile application or website.
Devices and methods for selective contactless communication
A card having an antenna, one or processors, and memory having stored thereon a first application and a second application configured to receive an input of the card and determine a request associated with the input. The card is further configured to activate, responsive to determining that the request is consistent with a contactless EuroPay-MasterCard-Visa (EMV) data standard, the first application. The first application is configured to communicate, via near field communication (NFC), data to the communicating device via the antenna based on the EMV data standard for payment purposes. The card is further configured to activate, responsive to determining that the request is consistent with a near field communication data exchange format (NDEF) standard, the second application. The second application is configured to communicate, via NFC, data to the communicating device via the antenna based on the NDEF standard for verification/identification purposes.
Contactless delivery systems and methods
A contactless delivery system is provided. The contactless delivery system includes a contactless card storing a cryptogram containing a unique identifier associated with a user account. After entry into a communication field, the contactless card is configured to transmit the cryptogram to a server. Upon receipt of the cryptogram, the server is configured to validate and decrypt the cryptogram, and extract the unique identifier. The server can query a database for an identity of the user account using the unique identifier, generate a digital signature based on the identity of the user account, and transmit a verification notification including the identity of the user account and the digital signature.
