AN ENABLING CARD AND METHOD AND SYSTEM USING THE ENABLING CARD IN A POS
The invention relates to an enabling card as well as a system and method for completing a financial transaction in a P.O.S. terminal comprising: a processor carried by the enabling card for: establishing a connection with a mobile device; receiving secure information from a mobile device and generating a digital signal; a coil carried by the enabling card for generating a magnetic field in response to the digital signal to simulate the swipe of card in the P.O.S. terminal and complete the financial transaction.
Method for authenticating financial instruments and financial transaction requests
A method for authenticating a check of a plurality of checks where the check was previously issued from a first party to a second party, including receiving first information from the first party, storing the first information in a file of a third party and receiving the check. The check has first party identifying information, a unique pseudorandom number of a pseudorandom sequence, and an amount. A status of activating the plurality of checks is determined. At least a portion of the first party identifying information included with the check, the unique pseudorandom number included with the check and the check amount included with the check are authenticated. The received check is authenticated if the first party, the unique pseudorandom number included with the check and the amount included with the check are authenticated and if the plurality of checks have been activated.
Instant activation digital payment system with seamless digital wallet integration
Aspects of the disclosure relate to high-security digital payment systems with instant activation. The systems may include multiple stages of authorization. The multiple stages of authorization may include increasing thresholds of criteria. The system may also include multiple payment instruments with seamless digital wallet integration.
Provisioning account numbers and cryptographic tokens
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for real-time provisioning of new card numbers to users of a consumer computing system. A consumer computing system (“CCS”) may have servers and databases situated within a banking infrastructure in order to provide various features to users via a software application executed by a client device. The software application may interact with the CCS servers, such that the CCS servers and the software application offer the client device and the user certain features not ordinarily available in conventional banking infrastructures. These features may include the real-time provisioning of card numbers for a user's banking account. In operation, the client device may submit a request for a new card number to a CCS server, which may be generated in real-time and active in the payment stream when the card number is generated.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING FINANCIAL TRANSACTION USING EMPTY CARD
A method and a system for providing a financial transaction using an empty card are provided. The method for providing a financial transaction using an empty card includes receiving, by a server, a virtual card number generated by a program included in a user terminal, searching, by the server, for an empty card storage location at which the empty card is registered, in a storage location search algorithm based on the virtual card number, searching, by the server, for a real card number storage space linked to a user identification (UID) assigned to the found empty card storage location, extracting, by the server, a real card number stored in the real card number storage space, and performing, by the server, a financial transaction progress or a financial transaction progress request with the extracted real card number.
Portable e-wallet and universal card
Universal cards are used in place of all the other traditional cards which a person may want to carry. The universal card can include a short range communications transceiver to communicate with a mobile device. The mobile device can include a user interface and an e-wallet application so that the user can interface with the e-wallet application for programming the universal card via the short range communication link. Once programmed, the universal card emulates a function of a traditional card.
Systems and methods for transferring values in remote databases
A method includes receiving a communication identifying a remote database and a first value stored in the remote database that is being transferred to a first entity by a second entity. That first value is capable of being modified by the second entity. Modification of the first value stored in the remote database by the second entity is prevented by identifying an application programming interface allowing operations to be performed on the remote database, and using that API to transfer the first value so as to be associated with one or more other identifiers unknown to the second entity. After modification of the first value stored by the second entity is prevented, a transfer of a second value to a database record associated with the second entity is triggered. Related systems and applications of the method and those systems are also disclosed.
Payment application initiated generation of payment instruments
In some examples, a system and method for activating a physical payment card are described. The method includes receiving from a mobile device of a user a request for a physical payment card and first state data indicating a state of the mobile device or an application executing on the mobile device at a time of the request. The physical payment card is mailed to the user. The mobile device reads an identifier on a surface of the container via a sensor of the mobile device and sends the identifier data and a second state data from the time of the reading. The identifier data is compared to a user identifier in a customer profile of the user and the second state data is determined to correspond to the first state data. The physical payment card is then automatically activated.
PAYMENT INFORMATION CORRELATION SYSTEM AND METHOD
Disclosed herein are payment information correlation systems and methods. A method includes registering, by commercial entities with the system, commercial entity parameter. A consumer registers with the system and selects one or more registered commercial entities. The consumer inputs and saves consumer payment information in a payment information correlation database. The one or more selected registered commercial entities input, responsive to selection, consumer associated commercial entity parameter information. The payment information correlation database correlates for each of the one or more selected registered commercial entities, the consumer payment information with the commercial entity parameter information and the consumer associated commercial entity parameter information. The payment information correlation system automatically updates at appropriate ones of the one or more selected registered commercial entities, the consumer payment information based on at least consumer associated commercial entity parameter information associated with the appropriate ones of the one or more selected registered commercial entities.
Method, apparatus and system for automatically generating a report
Embodiments herein provide for a method, system, and apparatus for automatically providing a report. Data associated with an activity relating to a user of an account is received. A determination is made as to whether the activity relates to funding of the account. In response to the activity relating to the funding, a determination is made as to whether the data indicates that a report is to be automatically generated based upon a predetermined rule. The report is automatically generated based upon determining that the data indicates that the report is to be automatically generated.
