Dynamic User Interface and Data Communications Via Extended Reality Environment
20230177831 · 2023-06-08 ·

Methods and systems for entering content into fields via an extended reality (XR) environment are described herein. An XR device may provide an XR environment. The XR device may detect, in a physical environment around the XR device, a user interface element, displayed by a display device, that permits entry of content by a user of a first computing device. The XR device may determine a type of content to be entered via the user interface element. The XR device may receive an image of a physical object corresponding to the type of content to be entered via the user interface element. The XR device may then process the image of the physical object to determine first content to provide to the user interface element and transmit, to the first computing device, the first content for entry into the user interface element.

MULTI-PROTOCOL SMART CARD PROGRAMMING
20170330404 · 2017-11-16 ·

A method and system for programming a smart card using multiple programming protocols in a single card programming station. The card can include at least two programmable chips, with each chip being programmed using a different programming protocol. Alternatively, the card can include a single programmable chip, and the chip is programmed using at least two programming protocols. The card can also include at least two programmable chips, with each chip being programmed using at least two programming protocols.

Companion applets for web-based transactions

Systems and methods for completing a transaction using an applet associated with a companion applet on portable electronic device. A least a portion of information from a user profile is obtained by the companion applet from a secure element on the portable electronic device using an application programming interface (API). The portion of information is then passed to the mobile applet and used to populate the fields needed for the vendor or payment processor to complete the transaction, and the transaction is treated as a card-present transaction.

PAYMENT METHOD, APPARATUS AND MEDIUM
20170289181 · 2017-10-05 ·

A payment method, apparatus and medium are provided. The method includes: preventing a floating window from being displayed on an interface displayed by a payment application when the payment application is running on foreground; receiving a payment operation triggered by a user on the interface; paying in accordance with the payment operation.

Dynamic code payment card verification methods and systems

Embodiments described herein disclose methods and systems for authorizing a payment card transaction using dynamic codes. The system can issue a payment card to a user. The payment card can be associated with a verification application accessible by a device associated with the user. The verification application can include a dynamic code associated with the payment card. The system can receive a request for authorization for a transaction using the payment card from a remote computing device, and the request can include an identifier of the payment card and a verification code. The system can identify the payment card using the identifier of the payment card and can compare the verification code with a value of the dynamic code at the time of the transaction. The system can authorize the transaction when the verification code matches the value of the dynamic code at the time of the transaction.

Fake sensor input for passcode entry security
09773240 · 2017-09-26 · ·

A method of preventing passcode logging is disclosed. The method may include: presenting a passcode entry interface on an electronic device; receiving a sensor input sequence from a sensor of the electronic device, wherein the sensor input sequence is indicative of a user's interaction with the passcode entry interface; and introducing a fake sensor entry into the sensor input sequence on the electronic device, wherein the fake sensor entry is introduced in accordance to a pattern to later distinguish the fake sensor entry from an actual sensor entry in the sensor input sequence.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE FOR PERFORMING SECURE PAYMENT AND METHOD THEREOF
20170270524 · 2017-09-21 ·

An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a user input circuit configured to allow a user of the electronic device to select a payment means, a communication circuit configured to receive first security information from the outside and transmit a payment request comprising the first security information and second security information to the outside, and a security information generator configured to generate the second security information.

Method and apparatus for version independent point of sale activation (POSA) product download

A computer implemented method and apparatus for version independent Point of Sale Activation (POSA) product download. The method comprises accessing a database, wherein the database comprises a plurality of entries associated with a plurality of Point of Sale Activation (POSA) cards available for purchase at a retail store; retrieving, from the database, a plurality of entries associated with a previous version of a software product, wherein the previous version of the software product has not been redeemed; generating a serial number for each retrieved entry, wherein each serial number is associated with a current version of the software product; and updating, in the database, each retrieved entry with the generated serial number.

Secure, remote biometric enrollment

Devices, systems, and methods facilitate enrollment of authenticating biometric data for authenticating an authorized user via a biometric sensor. A data input device and a power source are operatively coupled to a smart card including a fingerprint sensor. An activation code input by the user interacting with the data input device is compared with a predefined activation code, and if the detected activation code matches the predefined activation code, a fingerprint template is enrolled from fingerprint data received from the fingerprint sensor, all without transmitting data from either the power source or the data input device to any device other than the smart card.

System and method for wireless transactions

A system and method for wireless transactions provides a software development kit (SDK) that provides accessibility to inherent communication capabilities within a wireless communication device. The communication capabilities are normally not accessible to a software developer. However, the SDK provides an appropriate interface that permits a software developer to create application programs for a variety of transactions between the wireless communication device and a mobile network operator (MNO). In some transactions, the MNO may function as a financial service provider in which a user has an account with an associated monetary value. The SDK provides a simplified technique for executing a financial transaction, such as making a payment or transferring money by presenting easy-to-use menus that avoid the difficulty of memorizing transaction codes, user phone numbers, and the like.
