Digital promotion processing system including messenger bot based trivia question and related methods
A digital promotion processing system may include mobile wireless communications devices, each associated with a respective user and a digital promotion server. The digital promotion server may be configured to operate a messenger bot to prompt each of the users to answer a trivia question from the respective mobile wireless communications device and operate the messenger bot to obtain answers to the trivia question from the mobile wireless communications devices. The digital promotion server may be configured to determine a first respective user to answer the trivia question correctly based upon the obtained answers, and generate a digital promotion for a given product and communicate the digital promotion to the mobile wireless communications device associated with the first user to answer the trivia question correctly.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR TICKETING AT A GAMING TABLE
A system includes a smart table at which a wagering game is provided RFID-enabled chips and RFID sensors configured to detect the presence of RFID-enabled chips. The smart table includes a dealer scratchpad for detecting a value of RFID-enabled chips within a scratchpad area on the smart table. The smart table includes a ticket reader and a processor configured to scan, with the ticket reader, a voucher presented by a player, the voucher is redeemable for a voucher value, determine the voucher value of the voucher in response to the scanning, display, to a dealer of the wagering game at the smart table, a confirmation that the player is entitled to receive the voucher value, detect, from the RFID sensor, a chip value within the scratchpad area, compare the chip value to the voucher value, and display, to the dealer, a confirmation that the chip value matches the voucher value.
COUPON, CONTEST, AND ADVERTISING BUSINESS METHODS
Business methods related to contests, coupons, and advertising are described. Methods according to the disclosure can include methods related to movies and/or films, and can include company and/or product placement within the movies/films. The movies/films can be released in segments to users, and can be made using user input.
Self-service product return using computer vision and artificial intelligence
Systems and methods for returning an item. The methods comprise: performing operations by a self-return station to capture an image of a first item that an individual is trying to return to an entity; performing machine learning operations by the self-return station using the image to determine whether the first item is damaged and to determine a degree of item damage; allowing, by the self-return station, a return of the first item to the entity when the first item is not damaged or when the degree of item damage does not exceed a threshold value; and preventing, by the self-return station, the return of the first item to the entity when the first item is damaged and the degree of item damage exceeds the threshold value.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECONDARY ENGAGEMENT WITH TABLE GAMES
A system includes a smart table for providing a wagering game to one or more players. The smart table includes a table management device operable by a dealer, and the smart table defines a plurality of player positions. The system also includes a processor configured to open a wagering window. The wagering window defines a period of time during which at least one primary player is enabled to place a primary wager and during which at least one secondary player is enabled to place a secondary wager. The instructions also cause the processor to close the wagering window in response to expiration of the period of time, and resolve the primary wager for the primary player and the secondary wager for the secondary player in response to closing the wagering window and based upon an outcome of the wagering game.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR SECONDARY ENGAGEMENT WITH TABLE GAMES
A system includes a smart table configured to use radio-frequency identification (RFID)-enabled chips and at least one RFID sensor. The smart table defines a plurality of player positions. The smart table also includes a processor configured to detect, using the at least one RFID sensor of the smart table, one of: (i) removal of at least one RFID-enabled chip from a wagering area on the smart table, or (ii) addition of at least one additional RFID-enabled chip to the wagering area. The processor is also configured to automatically determine an outcome of a wagering game, where the outcome is a winning outcome if at least one RFID-enabled chip is added to the wagering area, and where the outcome is a losing outcome if at least one RFID-enabled chip is removed from the wagering area
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING VARIABLE REWARDS THROUGH A GAME INTERFACE OF AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A computer-implemented method of acquiring variable rewards via a user device. The method includes displaying, by a variable rewards application executing on the user device, an offer for a variable reward associated with a merchant. The user device receives user input causing the variable reward to be claimed. A camera of the user device creates an image of a receipt corresponding to a purchase of a product or a service from the merchant. The image of the receipt is electronically sent over a network to a variable rewards platform. The user device receives variable rewards information provided by the variable rewards platform and displays, through a game interface, an amount of a variable reward included within the variable rewards information. A user account maintained by the variable rewards platform is credited based upon the amount of the variable reward.
DELIVERING TARGETED ADVERTISING TO MOBILE DEVICES
A method of delivering advertising items to a client at a portable device is provided. A client ID is sent to a host server. A downloaded advertising item is produced relative to a product or service from the host server. The downloaded advertising item is parsed and stored. In response to the parsing and storing, displaying the advertising item is displayed to the client at the mobile device.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CASHLESS EXCHANGE AT TABLE GAMES
A system includes a smart table. The smart table is configured to use radio-frequency identification (RFID)-enabled chips and includes a table management device and at least one RFID sensor. A dealer scratchpad defines a scratchpad area on the smart table, and the smart table defines a plurality of player positions. The smart table is configured to detect a presence of a player at a first player position of the plurality of player positions, and receive, from the table management device, a request to cash the player out of the wagering game. The processor is configured to determine, using the at least one RFID sensor, a chip cash-out value within the scratchpad area, and receive, from a player computing device of the player, a selection of a digital wallet account accessed from the player computing device. The processor also facilitates a deposit transaction to the digital wallet account.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CASHLESS EXCHANGE AT TABLE GAMES
A system includes a smart table that defines a plurality of player positions and that includes a plurality of wireless sensors. Each wireless sensor is associated with a respective player position of the plurality of player positions. The system is configured to determine, using a wireless sensor of the plurality of wireless sensors, that the mobile computing device is located proximate a wireless sensor of the plurality of wireless sensors. The system is further configured to control the wireless sensor to establish a wireless connection between the wireless sensor and the mobile computing device, and receive, from the mobile computing device, via the wireless connection, a player identifier. In addition, the system is configured to determine the respective player position associated with the wireless sensor, in response to determining the respective player position and based on the player identifier, associate the player with the respective player position within a table management database.
