PUMP MECHANISM
A prosthetic system includes a prosthetic foot with a foot member defining a first end portion, a second end portion, and an intermediate portion defining a curvature and extending between the first and second end portions. A pump mechanism is coupled to the foot member. The pump mechanism includes a housing defining a cavity, and a membrane situated in the cavity. The pump mechanism is movable between an original configuration and an expanded configuration. A movable member includes a first portion coupled to the membrane and a second portion arranged to slidably engage the foot member. Relative movement between the first and second end portions moves the first portion of the movable member relative to the housing and slides the second portion along a length of the foot member to shift the pump mechanism between the original and expanded configurations.
POWERED-ON PASSIVE KNEE PROSTHESIS SYSTEM
A knee prosthesis system including a knee prosthesis, an actuator and a controlling unit. The knee prosthesis includes a thigh segment and a shank segment. The actuator rotatably connects the shank segment and the thigh segment. The actuator is configured to controllably assume a powered knee behavior to generate knee motion or a passive knee behavior to resist knee motion. The controlling unit includes a finite-state control structure. The controlling unit electrically communicates with the actuator. The control structure includes at least three passive states and at least one powered state. The passive states include a passive stance-resistance state, a swing-flexion state, and a swing-extension state and the at least one powered state includes at least one of a swing-assistance state, a stance-assistance state, and a powered-swing state.
Dynamic support apparatus and system
A dynamic support system includes a control system for controlling inflation and deflation of at least one actuator having an inlet connectable to the a control unit of the dynamic support system. The control unit may be in communication with a sensor and may control inflation and deflation of the at least one actuator in response to information provided by the sensor.

Orthopedic device
An orthopedic device for the orthotic or prosthetic provision of a patient is provided. The orthopedic device includes a knee joint, which has a proximal upper part and a distal lower part arranged pivotably thereon, an ankle joint, a pivoted foot part which can be fastened distally to the ankle joint, and a shin part arranged between the ankle joint and the knee joint. The upper part of the knee joint or a thigh part fastened thereto that can be attached to the patient's body and is coupled with the foot part by means of a force transfer device, which causes a plantar flexion of the foot part when a knee is flexed.

SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR ROBOTIC DEVICE AND METHODS OF USING THEREOF
A robotic assembly control system is disclosed. The robotic assembly control system includes an exoskeleton apparatus adapted to be worn by a user, at least one robotic assembly, the at least one robotic assembly controlled by the user by way of the exoskeleton, and at least one mobile platform, the at least one mobile platform controlled by the user and wherein the at least one robotic assembly is attached to the at least one mobile platform.
HYBRID-TYPE KNEE PROSTHESIS APPARATUS HAVING MULTI-FUNCTIONAL ROTARY HYDRAULIC CYLINDER
The hybrid-type knee prosthesis apparatus which is mounted on the knee portion of a patient with femoral amputation to assist in walking includes a knee joint module connected to a lower leg prosthesis of the patient with femoral amputation; a rotary hydraulic cylinder operatively coupled to the knee joint module and pivotally rotating the knee joint module by pivot rotation of a rotation shaft; an electric motor for providing active power to the rotary hydraulic cylinder; a driving cable for operatively connecting the rotary hydraulic cylinder and the electric motor to each other; and a control module for controlling to operate in any one mode of a passive mode in which the rotary shaft provided in the rotary hydraulic cylinder is pivotally rotated by a hydraulic pressure formed inside the rotary hydraulic cylinder or an active mode in which the rotating shaft is pivotally rotated by the active power.
ACTUATOR-DAMPER UNIT
An actuator-damper unit for use in orthotic or prosthetic devices. The actuator-damper unit includes a housing which may be fastened on the orthotic or prosthetic device and in which a cylinder is formed. A first piston is displaceably mounted in the cylinder and is coupled to a piston rod. The piston rod is disposed, via a first end, on the first piston and may be coupled, via a second end, to the orthotic or prosthetic device. The first piston separates two fluid chambers in the cylinder from each other and forms a piston-cylinder unit, wherein at least one further piston is coupled to the first piston in order to form at least one further, variable-volume fluid chamber.
ORTHOPEDIC JOINT DEVICE
The invention relates to an orthopedic joint device having an upper part and a lower part which is hinged about a pivot axis to said upper part, having a flexion moment-controlled retainer device that is positioned between the upper part and the lower part, blocks a flexion and releases the flexion when a predefined flexion moment is exceeded, wherein a control element is associated with the retainer device and is coupled to a delaying element.
