ACTIVE SUSPENSION AND BODY WEARABLE DEVICE INTEGRATION

An active suspension system with body wearable device integration is disclosed. The system includes a prosthetic having a shock assembly with at least one active valve and a controller communicatively coupled with the at least one active valve of the shock assembly, the controller configured to communicate damping adjustment information to the at least one active valve of the shock assembly, the damping adjustment information used by said at least one active valve to modify a damping characteristic of the shock assembly.

Prosthetic feet having heel height adjustability

Prosthetic feet that allow for heel height adjustment and/or provide metatarsal joint functionality to more closely mimic natural human feet are provided. A prosthetic foot can include an ankle module having a locking mechanism configured to lock the heel at a particular height. The prosthetic foot can also include a toe region that adapts to varying heel heights. The ankle module and/or locking mechanism can be adjusted, controlled, and/or locked via a hydraulic mechanism. The toe region can curve upward relative to a portion of the foot proximal of the toe region.

Prosthetic socket system

A prosthetic socket system includes a prosthetic lock assembly having a lock body defining a pin hole adapted to receive an attachment pin, and a locking device in the lock body. The locking device is engageable with the attachment pin to unidirectionally lock the attachment pin in the lock body while permitting insertion of the attachment pin in the lock body. A valve assembly is positioned in the lock body that is movable between a closed position and an open position in which the valve assembly is unsealed so that air moves into the lock body via the valve assembly. A release mechanism positioned in the lock body is arranged to both release the locking device from the attachment pin and move the valve assembly to the open position by translating the locking device in the lock body.

PROSTHESIS SOCKET AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AN ADJUSTMENT OF AN INNER CIRCUMFERENCE OF A PROSTHESIS SOCKET

A prosthesis socket having a proximal insertion opening and an inner circumference which at least partially surrounds a limb stump, at least one connection device for a prosthesis component, which is connectable to the prosthesis sockets at least one actuator operable to change the inner circumference of the prosthesis socket, and at least one sensor coupled to a control device, wherein the control device is connected to the actuator and activates or deactivates same, depending on the received sensor signals, and to a method for adjusting the inner circumference.
