A method is performed at an electronic device with a display. The method includes receiving a request from a user to display information about electric vehicle charging stations near a geographic location. The method further includes, in response to the request to display information about electric vehicle charging stations near the geographic location, for a respective charging station near the geographic location: identifying a commercial enterprise co-located with the respective electric vehicle charging station, and displaying, on the display, an indication of the respective electric vehicle charging station. The indication of the respective electric vehicle charging station includes a representation of the co-located commercial enterprise.

Techniques for customized deployment of offers are provided. Customized offers are packaged into a description, a presentation, and offer evaluation execution logic and deployed to an enterprise system. Portions of the package's execution logic have access to some resources of the enterprise system. Once the customized offers are deployed, they can be pushed or pulled to point-of-sale devices for redemption processing during transactions with consumers.

Methods and systems of offering and distributing digital content to an attendee at an event are described. The system contains a server containing the digital content that can be offered to an attendee as well as recording equipment for creating digital content based on the event. The digital content can be then distributed directly to a portable electronic device accessible to an attendee or distributed indirectly using a kiosk located near the event. The server can communicate both with the portable electronic devices and with the kiosk. Once the attendee has been offered the digital content, the attendee can request that the digital content be distributed from the server to that portable electronic device or distributed to a kiosk where the digital content can be retrieved by the attendee. A promotional aid application system includes a portable electronic tablet having a display screen, a processor, a memory, and a communication link being wireless or hardware. The portable electronic is configured to display content received from the communication link on the display screen such that potential buyers are able to be informed of product information.

A virtual display system in a facility is discussed. An exemplary system includes a server, client device, interactive touchscreen, databases, and a product retrieval module. One or more large interactive touchscreens are used to simultaneously display images of multiple products at an actual size, allow their manipulation, accept customization input and update the images based on the requested customization. Dynamic pricing tied to the customization is also displayed.

Aspects of the disclosure relate to controlling automated exchange zone systems using a digital data processing system. A computing platform may receive a notification indicating that an item has been received by an automated exchange zone system and may generate and send one or more item scan commands directing the automated exchange zone system to capture one or more scans of the item. Subsequently, the computing platform may receive item scan data captured by the automated exchange zone system and may evaluate the item scan data based on one or more templates. The computing platform may assign an item quality metric to the item and may generate, based on the item quality metric, one or more item processing commands directing the automated exchange zone system to process the item. Thereafter, the computing platform may send the one or more item processing commands to the automated exchange zone system.

A recycling kiosk for recycling and financial remuneration for submission of a mobile telephone is disclosed herein. The recycling kiosk includes an inspection area with at least one camera and a plurality of electrical connectors in order to perform a visual analysis and an electrical analysis of the mobile telephone for determination of a value of the mobile telephone. The recycling kiosk also includes a processor, a display and a user interface.

One embodiment of the invention is directed to a system comprising a server and a consumer device in operative communication with the server. The server comprises a processor and a computer readable medium coupled to the processor. The computer readable medium comprises computer readable program code embodied therein. The computer readable program code is adapted to be executed by the processor to receive an authorization request message for a transaction conducted by a consumer with a merchant, send the authorization request message to an issuer, modify an authorization response message to include receipt preference data, and send the authorization response message comprising the receipt data to the merchant, wherein the merchant generates a receipt for the consumer according to the receipt preference data.

An athletic device is worn by a participant during an athletic event (e.g., a race). In one example, a race course is provided with a plurality of mats or signal devices along the race course. The mats may have antennas and generate a magnetic field. The device may include a chip system having an RFID tag and a display. As the participant progress along the course, the tag is triggered at each mat and race data may be displayed on the device. Data relating to a location of the participant may also be provided to the participant during the athletic event.

A computer implemented method for delivering one or more incentives from one or more merchant devices to a client device, the client device being associated with a user, the computer implemented method comprising determining proximity between the client device and the one or more merchant devices, the proximity being determined based on a distance between the client device and the one or more merchant devices being within a predetermined threshold, querying, based on such determination, a loyalty database to identify an association status between the client device and the one or more merchant devices and providing the one or more incentives to the client device based on the association status.
