System and method for governing execution of a geography dependent computer process
Methods and systems for governing execution of a geography dependent computer process are provided. In one aspect, a method includes receiving a target location comprising a geographic identifier. The method also includes accessing a data store comprising a plurality of maps. Each map of the plurality of maps includes a plurality of geometric shapes and each geometric shape is associated with an execution rule. The method also includes determining which geometric shape of the plurality of geometric shapes the geographic identifier is bounded within for at least two maps of the plurality of maps. The method further includes generating an aggregate rule set based on each execution rule associated with each geometric shape determined to bound the geographic identifier. The method further includes applying the aggregate rule set. Machine-readable media are also provided.
COIN COUNTING LOTTERY MACHINE WITH CRYPTOCURRENCY CAPABILITY
The present invention relates to a novel coin counting lottery vending machine with selective cryptocurrency support. The machine combines the functions of enabling users to buy lottery tickets using coins, cash and/or cryptocurrency and converting coins into cash or cryptocurrency. The machine includes a coin receptacle, a ticket scanner to check the winning status of a previously purchased ticket, a ticket slot for receiving play slips for draw tickets, a cash slot, a touch screen, and a dispensing tray. The machine can also be connected to a lottery provider server for checking status of a ticket and storing information about dispensed tickets. The machine can also be connected to a cryptocurrency exchange for performing cryptocurrency transactions.
OBTAINING AND DELIVERING AT LEAST ONE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE THROUGH AT LEAST ONE SUPPLY CHAIN
A method, non-transitory computer readable medium, and system for obtaining and delivering at least one alcoholic beverage through at least one supply chain are described. In some examples, the present disclosure includes obtaining and delivering at least one alcoholic beverage, through the supply chain, to at least one user. In some examples, the at least one alcoholic beverage can be delivered with at least one item that is not an alcoholic beverage. In some examples, the at least one alcoholic beverage can be delivered with at least one free alcoholic beverage obtained from a manufacturer. Some examples of the present disclosure also allow for management of inventory of alcoholic beverages throughout at least one supply chain.
Aggregated media rights platform
In one embodiment, a processing device receives a first digital fingerprint of a media item along with a first content management rule. The processing device separately receives a second digital fingerprint of the media item along with a second content management rule. The processing device determines that the received digital fingerprints are for the same media item based upon a match between the first digital fingerprint and the second digital fingerprint. The processing device determines that all rights to the media item have been accounted for, and then determines a set of actions to be performed for hosted media items comprising the media item based at least in part upon the first content management rule and the second content management rule. Processing logic may also perform a conflict resolution process for conflicting rights claims to the media item.
Automated analysis of and response to social media
Methods and systems for managing a public perspective of an entity by analyzing online posts and automatically performing actions in response to these online posts are described herein. Real-time feeds of online posts may be streamed from social media servers. Online posts that are determined to be related to the entity may be extracted from the feeds and accumulated for analysis. A sentiment analysis may be performed on the online posts to determine the public perspective toward the entity. Content of the online posts may be analyzed to determine whether it is related to a prohibited transaction or an inquiry for a product or a service offered by the entity. Actions may be automatically performed to prevent the prohibited transaction from occurring. Resources related to the product or the service may be offered in response to the online post.
Digital cart monitoring and validation using interprocess communication
A system includes a server and merchant device. The server receives product information for a product scanned by a mobile device. The server stores the product information for the product in a digital cart. The server receives a transaction request from the mobile device, determines that the product is associated with a validation requirement, and transmits a validation request to the merchant device. The server receives, from the merchant device, an indication that the validation requirement is satisfied, processes a transaction, and transmits, to the merchant device, an indication that the transaction is complete. The merchant device receives the validation request, determines that the validation requirement is satisfied, and transmits the indication that the validation requirement is satisfied to the server. The merchant device receives, from the server, the indication that the transaction is complete and displays the indication that the transaction on the display.
Wearable RFID device for use in an event-based interrogation zone
A wearable RFID device is provided for use in an event-based interrogation zone. The zone contains terminals with RFID readers. The device has an element worn by a user and an attached or embedded RFID tag. The tag has stored data representing a UniqueID of the tag, and a stored funds balance. The tag is programmed to activate an otherwise inactive one of said terminals upon presentation of the tag to the RFID reader of said terminal in a first tap, and communicate its UniqueID to the terminal for validation. Upon validation and following a second tap of the tag at the RFID reader, the tag's stored funds balance can be changed by the amount of a transaction run through said terminal. A temporary installation of a system of RFID-based terminals and user-worn RFID devices is also provided for use within an event interrogation zone.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR VALIDATING COMMODITY TRANSACTIONS
A system and method for validating commodity transactions are disclosed. A particular embodiment is configured for: establishing, by use of a data processor and a data network, a data connection with at least one operator platform; receiving a commodity transaction request from an operator at the at least one operator platform; aggregating third party information obtained from one or more third party network resources; determining an available level of collateral corresponding to the operator; determining if the commodity transaction request is validated based on the aggregated third party information and the available collateral level; and communicating with at least one depository platform to communicate whether the commodity transaction request and available collateral level are validated.
Systems and methods for supporting regulatory requirements for the distribution of controlled and non-controlled items
Systems and methods for supporting regulatory requirements for the distribution of controlled and non-controlled items such as, for example, non-controlled prescriptions (Rx), medical devices, and controlled substances in countries such as the United States and Canada, are provided. The systems and methods incorporate a license verification module that is configured to perform license validation for a particular order placed for a controlled and/or non-controlled item. In certain embodiments, the license verification module compares order data to historically sorted data and if one or more discrepancies exist, validation is unsuccessful. The license verification module may further query a third party database for updated license information upon validation failure. The systems and methods further incorporate a suspicious order monitoring module that is configured to perform a plurality of checks on the order to identify the order as an “order of interest” that may be further investigated and deemed to be suspicious.
System for third party sellers in online retail environment
A third party item listing management system usable for verification of third party items to be included on a retailer website includes an application programming interface and an item verification pipeline. The application programming interface is accessible by a plurality of third parties and is configured to receive item data associated with one or more items. The item verification pipeline is configured to receive the item data and call an item validation pipeline, the item validation pipeline includes a plurality of item validation stages including a field verification. At the field verification stage, data is extracted from at least one of an item image or text associated with the item. The data extracted is compared to item data obtained from an independent verification source to confirm the accuracy of the item data provided by the third party.
