Object Information Derived from Object Images
An object is recognized from image data as a target object and linked to a user based on an interaction by the user, information about the target object is obtained and a purchase of the target object is initiated.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR REDUCING ITEM SELECTION ERROR IN AN E-COMMERCE ENVIRONMENT
Methods and systems for displaying, to a user interface, categories of items for the user to select from for querying the system, in order to enable the system to return to the user images of items of the type desired by the user for possible purchase. The items categories of items can be presented to the user interface visually in silhouette form so that the user can select brand and the silhouette image of the type of item desired. Upon selection of the silhouette image, a query is sent to the system and images of the desired type of item are returned to the user interface for presentation to the user, along with certain attributes of the items.
TEXT TRANSLATION USING CONTEXTUAL INFORMATION RELATED TO TEXT OBJECTS IN TRANSLATED LANGUAGE
In an example embodiment, input is received from a first user of a computer system. A text object relating to a first item from the input is created, and translated from a first language to a second language. A plurality of text objects, in the second language, having text similar to the translated text object, are located in a database, each text object comprising textual information pertaining to the first item. The plurality of text objects having text similar to the translated text are then ranked based on a comparison of the contextual information about the first item and the contextual information stored in the database for the plurality of text objects having text similar to the translated text object. At least one of the ranked text objects is translated to the first language.
WEAR TIME AS METRIC FOR BUYING INTENT
Example embodiments of the present disclosure include a system comprising a computer-readable storage medium storing at least one program and a computer-implemented method for providing a recommendation based on a level of buying intent of an individual. Consistent with some embodiments, the method may include monitoring an amount of time an individual wears a particular item while in a fitting room of a retail store, and determining an interest level of the individual in purchasing the item based on the amount of time the individual wears the item. The method may further include generating and providing a recommendation for an additional based on the determined level of intent.
Location based register rules
A system, method and computer readable medium for dynamically determining location-based rules affecting item sales at POS registers for a particular location and for distributing the location-based rules to the POS registers is discussed. A location-based ruleset of rules regulating sales of items at an individual store is created and transmitted to the store along with a rule group to item map file that maps rules and warnings to individual store items. A rules engine at the store provides updated item sale rules and warnings to POS registers based on the location-based ruleset and rule group to item map file. Embodiments thus provide an improved system for updating POS registers at different store locations with location-based rules specific to the store location.
Generation, administration and analysis of user experience testing
Systems and methods for generating, administering and analyzing a user experience study are provided. In particular, intents can be generated from a user experience study by applying one or more screener questions to participants and subjecting the screened participants to one or more tasks. Corresponding clickstreams and success data for each participant engaging in the tasks can be recorded. The success and clickstream data can also be aggregated for all the screened participants as aggregated results. Video data including audio for each of the screened participants can also be recorded.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR IDENTIFYING MEDIA AND PROVIDING SUPPLEMENTAL MEDIA INFORMATION
Systems and methods are provided for dynamically engaging a user with media, and providing the user with supplemental information about products or services appearing in or associated with the media. In one embodiment of the invention, sample media data is received from a media source, such as live TV or a television or radio commercial, the sample media is identified by comparing the sample media to previously identified media stored in a database, and supplemental media information, such as product placement information, is provided to the user via a network.
Independently procurable item compliance information
Systems and methods electronically provide information regarding digital rules related to a potential relationship instance. Users often wish to know which digital rules apply to a specified item before engaging in a relationship instance with a host entity regarding the item. The system and methods described herein allow a computing facility to identify an item and receive resource information related to the item and the digital rules applicable to the item.
COMPUTER-BASED METHOD ALLOWING USER TRANSACTIONS IN AN AUGMENTED SPACE
A computer-based method that allows users to conduct transactions and interact with environments and objects in an augmented space using any generic electronic device with a display and user input. The environment can be virtually rendered or 360° image or video pre-captured and allows the user to move around within it. Products, information, navigational or communication hotspots can be accessed by the user via the electronic device. Objects such as products are displayed as a 360° image and is user-interactable. There is an option for a physical kiosk located within a retail space that allows for offline (non Internet) use.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM STORING AN INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM
An information processing device including a processor, wherein the processor is configured to: acquire vehicle information relating to a vehicle; evaluate a value of structural information, which includes the acquired vehicle information, by using a predetermined evaluation standard; and present a user of the vehicle with the evaluated value of the structural information.
