Apparatus, method, and non-transitory computer storage medium for performing predictive inferences using multiple predictive models
Method, apparatus and computer program product for performing a cross-model predictive inference to generate a cross-model predictive output for a plurality of predictive inputs using a plurality of predictive models. For example, the apparatus includes at least one processor and at least one non-transitory memory including program code. The at least one non-transitory memory and the program code are configured to, with the at least one processor, obtain a model selection probability distribution which defines, for each predictive model, a respective selection probability score; obtain, for each predictive model, respective cross-model normalization data; for each predictive input, determine a cross-model predictive score; and determine, based on each determined cross-model predictive score, the cross-model predictive output.
Automated product recommendation
Systems and methods for automated product recommendation are disclosed herein. This can include generating an entry, the entry corresponding to an item selected for purchase, in a mirror-cart linked with a user account and identifying a recipe associated with the selected item. This can include comparing items identified in the recipe to items contained in the mirror-cart to identify a missing item that is not in the mirror-cart, and then prompting the user to purchase the missing item. Automated product recommendation can include generating an entry in the mirror-cart linked to the missing item when the user selects the missing item for purchase, updating an invoice with price information for the selected missing item, and transferring the invoice to a point of sale terminal at the retail location.
Verified-party content
Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for uploading, by a verified party, verified-party content to a media platform, receiving requests by a client device for store content, and displaying the uploaded verified-party content along with store content on the client device.
METHOD, COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND ALGORITHM FOR COMPUTING NETWORK SERVICE VALUE PRICING BASED ON COMMUNICATION SERVICE EXPERIENCES DELIVERED TO CONSUMERS AND MERCHANTS OVER A SMART MULTI-SERVICES (SMS) COMMUNICATION NETWORK
A system and method for providing multi-services within a communication network according to various exemplary embodiments can include storing, in a database of a computer, user-defined sets of rules and instructions for providing multi-services to end user devices connected to a communication network comprising a Hybrid Fiber-Wireless (HFW) network having policy management capabilities. The system and method can receive, at one or more processors, the user-defined sets of rules and instructions from a plurality of end users via a plurality of end user devices. The system and method can configure a virtual network for each end user within the communication network using the policy management capabilities based on the user-defined sets of rules and instructions provided by each end user. The user-defined sets of rules and instructions define provisioning and delivery of resources and services provided by the communication network to the end user.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROL AND MANAGEMENT OF RESOURCES FOR CONSUMERS OF INFORMATION
A system and method is provided for using information broadcast by devices and resources in the immediate vicinity of a mobile device, or by sensors located within the mobile device itself, to ascertain and make a determination of the immediate environment and state of the mobile device. The sensor data is then used to identify situational profiles to target and determine the relevance of apps, advertisements, content, and recommendations.
SERVER SIDE CROSSFADING FOR PROGRESSIVE DOWNLOAD MEDIA
Systems and methods are provided to implement and facilitate cross-fading, interstitials and other effects/processing of two or more media elements in a personalized media delivery service. Effects or crossfade processing can occur on the broadcast, publisher or server-side, but can still be personalized to a specific user, in a manner that minimizes processing on the downstream side or client device. The cross-fade can be implemented after decoding, processing, re-encoding, and rechunking the relevant chunks of each component clip. Alternatively, the cross-fade or other effect can be implemented on the relevant chunks in the compressed domain, thus obviating any loss of quality by re-encoding. A large scale personalized content delivery service can limit the processing to essentially the first and last chunks of any file, there being no need to process the full clip.
OBJECT DRIVEN NEWSFEED
Object driven newsfeeds supporting interest-based social networks aid in the formation of relationships based on similar domains of user interest. A space efficient graphical user interface (GUI) enables access to an object driven newsfeed of contextual and relevant information to aid a consumer/user in making buying decisions in an e-commerce environment.
ANALYSIS AND COLLECTION SYSTEM FOR USER INTEREST DATA AND METHOD THEREFOR
The application provides a user interest data analysis and collection system which comprises: a session identification module, which is used for offline extracting log data and a merchandise purchase history record corresponding to the log data from a Web server, and for processing the log data, thereby generating a page browsing sequence reference set; a recommendation service controller which is used for collecting user's browsing record in real time; a log data pre-processing module which is used for, when predetermined conditions are satisfied, receiving the user's browsing log data in this session from the recommendation service controller, and for pre-processing the log data; and a match analysis module which is used for matching the pre-processed log data with the generated page browsing sequence reference set, and determining a set of merchandise that the user is potentially interested in, according to the matching result. The application also discloses a method of analyzing and collecting user interest data.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PROVIDING FRESHNESS INFORMATION
An apparatus for providing perishable product freshness information is provided. The apparatus includes a portable device having an input device for receiving a product identifier associated with a perishable product, a sensor reader for receiving data from one or more sensors in proximity of the perishable product and the portable device, a display device to display information, and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to: receive the product identifier associated with the perishable product, retrieve a list of one or more external sensors to detect, cause the sensor reader to scan for data from the one or more external sensors, receive detected sensor data from one or more sensors detected by the sensor reader, and cause the display device to display information associated with product freshness determined based on the stored sensor data and a sensor data history associated with the perishable product.
PRODUCT, OPERATING SYSTEM AND TOPIC BASED
A method is described in which a topic similarity score, a product similarity score and an operating system similarity score between an original post and each one of a plurality of previous posts are determined; an overall similarity score of the each one of the plurality of previous posts based on the topic similarity score, the product similarity score and the operating system similarity score is determined; and a recommendation of a top K number of the plurality of previous posts based on the overall similarity score of the each one of the plurality of previous posts is sent to a display device.
