A system and method for aggregation of local business inventories is provided. In some embodiments, the system may comprise a computing device associated with a customer and one or more computing devices associated with one or more local businesses, such as those that provide goods, services, or even, rental of goods. The local business computing devices may receive inventory input from the one or more businesses, wherein the inventory input is associated with one or more products or one or more service hours available at the one or more local businesses. The business computing device may also update the inventory input based on an availability change of the one or more products or the one or more service hours. The local business computing devices may then generate and transmit inventory output based on the inventory input. The computing device associated with the customer may receive the inventory output from the one or more computing devices associated with the one or more local businesses. The customer computing device may receive a product query or a service query from the customer and then filter and display the inventory output based on the product query or the service query, and distance from or transit time to the one or more local businesses.

A system and method of an intelligent shopping infrastructure is provided. A data storage of current inventory from a plurality of merchants is maintained. User preferences that indicate an item affinity of a user are retrieved. Furthermore, a location of the user is detected. Using the detected location, available inventory, and item affinity, an available item from the current inventory of a merchant located within a predetermined distance to the location of the user that match the item affinity of the user is identified. The available item is presented on a user interface of a client device of the user.

A system for and a method of providing service related to an object include receiving property information of the object when the device is located within a predetermined distance from the object, requesting available service from a server based on a current location of the device receiving the property information and the received property information, and receiving the requested service from the server.

Providing a recommendation for a specific item of interest using a recommendation system, by obtaining information concerning items of interest offered by multiple business places, receiving a query concerning the specific item of interest from an electronic device, obtaining objective information concerning business places offering the specific item of interest, and outputting one or more business places that offer the specific item of interest based on a function, said function receiving the objective information as input.

In accordance with some aspects of the present disclosure, search input is received from a first user device of a first user (e.g., a first mobile communication device). A location of a second user is determined (e.g., a location of a second mobile communication device). A search is performed using the search input and the location of the second user, and one or more search results are provided to the first user device based on the search. A purchase confirmation for an item included in the one or more search results is received, and pickup information is communicated to a second user device of the second user, enabling the second user to pick up the item from a merchant location.

The following relates generally to light detection and ranging (LIDAR) and artificial intelligence (AI). In some embodiments, a system: receives LIDAR data generated from a LIDAR camera; measures a plurality of dimensions of a room of the home based upon processor analysis of the LIDAR data; builds a 3D model of the room based upon the measured plurality of dimensions; receives an indication of a proposed change to the room; modifies the 3D model to include the proposed change to the room; and displays a representation of the modified 3D model.

A conversation augmentation system can automatically augment a conversation with content items based on natural language from the conversation. The conversation augmentation system can select content items to add to the conversation based on determined user “intents” generated using machine learning models. The conversation augmentation system can generate intents for natural language from various sources, such as video chats, audio conversations, textual conversations, virtual reality environments, etc. The conversation augmentation system can identify constraints for mapping the intents to content items or context signals for selecting appropriate content items. In various implementations, the conversation augmentation system can add selected content items to a storyline the conversation describes or can augment a platform in which an unstructured conversation is occurring.

A computerized product promotion system for use in a store is provided. The system comprises one or more processors configured to receive a plurality of captured images of a shopper in a current shopping session in the store and process the plurality of captured images to determine one or more products selected by the shopper during the current shopping session. The one or more processors are further configured to determine an identity of at least one target product, selected by a product prediction model, that is estimated to have a threshold minimum likelihood of being purchased by the shopper during a remainder of the current shopping session. The product prediction model receives as input the one or more products selected by the shopper during the current shopping session, and outputs the identity of the at least one target product.

The system operates to provide interaction regarding vacation rentals allowing users to obtain information regarding a property that is geo-based for that property and engage is immediate rental of the property or future rental of the property through standard messaging applications.
