Apparatus for facilitating a sales transaction via an interactive display platform
Methods and apparatus are disclosed for facilitating, via an interactive display platform, a sales transaction conducted in real time between a consultant associated with a consultant device and a customer associated with a customer device. Independent user interaction control capabilities are assigned to the consultant device and the customer device for controlling the sharing of information, the identification of selections pertaining to the shared information and the population of a virtual shopping cart based on the selections, and/or for interacting with the shared information, selections and populated virtual shopping cart. The disclosed methods and apparatus can facilitate a sales transaction involving any type of product and/or service, including the sale of a report containing product data.
On-line session trace system
In various example embodiments, a system and method for enhancing a user's on-line experience by utilizing a computer-implemented on-line session trace system is provided. The on-line session trace system is provided in connection with an on-line trading platform. The on-line session trace system records and stores a state of an on-line session associated with a user identification and permits a user associated with the user identification to commence a further on-line session from a state corresponding to the saved state of a previous on-line session.
System and methods for vulnerability assessment and provisioning of related services and products for efficient risk suppression
In an illustrative embodiment, systems and methods for cyber vulnerability assessment include obtaining assessment data including information pertaining to domains of cyber security vulnerability of an enterprise and, for each security domain, a respective domain-level vulnerability score, identifying risk(s) relevant to the enterprise based on domain-level vulnerability score(s), identifying recommended products or services for mitigating each of the risks, and preparing a graphical user interface for selecting a portion of the recommended products or services. A user may select one or more products or services through the user interface for purchase and/or deployment planning. The domain-level vulnerability scores may be compared to peer vulnerabilities scores, target vulnerability scores, or prospective vulnerability scores based upon application of certain recommended products or services.
Payment systems and methods for in-store and online purchases
Systems and methods for implementing payments or mobile payments. In an aspect of in-store purchase, a merchant sends a payment amount and merchant account info to transaction center. A buyer sends a code and buyer account info to transaction center. The code represents the merchant. In an aspect of online purchase, an e-commerce merchant provides options for a buyer to use names other than a first name plus a surname. In one embodiment, a buyer submits a shortened name or nickname for online purchases when a given payment service is used as a payment method.
Systems and methods for generating recommendations based on multi-channel inputs
Features are disclosed for training and using a recommendation model configured to receive inputs from a user via a first channel and a second channel. The recommendation model can be trained with inputs from the first channel and inputs from the second channel. The recommendation model can receive a plurality of inputs from multiple channels and determine a probability of a future potential event for each channel. The probabilities may be based on the probability of a repeat event and the probability of a general event. The recommendation model may generate a recommendation for the user based on the probabilities of a future potential event.
AUGMENTED REALITY AND MESSAGING
The various implementations described herein include methods, systems, and devices for Augmented Reality (AR) based messaging. In one aspect, a method includes processing a user request to create and place an avatar (e.g., a virtual representation of a user) at a user-specified location. In another aspect, a system manages placement of avatars at various geo locations, allows users to interact with avatars, and manages avatar-avatar interactions with or without user controls. In yet another aspect, a device is provided allowing a user to create, manage, and view avatar-based tags. Additionally, various user interfaces are provided to support the user to create, manage, and view avatars.
Coordinated Processing of Food Ordering Based on Media Content Presentation
A method and system for food-order processing based on timing of media-content presentation. An example method includes a media presentation system detecting an occurrence of a media-presentation event associated with presentation of a media-content item by the media presentation system. Further, the example method includes, responsive to detecting the media-presentation event, (i) the media presentation system presenting a food-ordering prompt that solicits user input to place a food order, (ii) the media presentation system receiving the user input responsive to the presented prompt, and (iii) responsive to the received user input, the media presentation system engaging in network communication to place the food order pursuant to the received user input. And still further, the example method includes the media presentation system using timing of presentation of the media-content item as a basis to schedule a pickup or delivery time for the food order.
METHOD FOR PROCESSING RESOURCES AND TERMINAL
Provided is a method for processing resources. The method includes: displaying, in response to a trigger operation on a target adjustment control, a task page of a target adjustment task, wherein the task page has participation prompt information and a first invitation control displayed thereon; sending, in response to a trigger operation on the first invitation control, adjustment task information to other one or more accounts; and updating, upon completion of the target adjustment task, a state of a target resource based on the target quantity required for updating the state of the target resource.
ELECTRONIC SHELF LABEL CONTROLLING METHOD
A method for controlling an electronic shelf label according to an embodiment of the present disclosure includes providing an input request window including a barcode recognition request phrase on a virtual cell selected by a user, receiving barcode information of a product obtained by a barcode reader as a product identification input, obtaining product information based on the received product identification input, and displaying the obtained product information on the selected virtual cell.
GENERATING DIGITAL RECOMMENDATIONS UTILIZING COLLABORATIVE FILTERING, REINFORCEMENT LEARNING, AND INCLUSIVE SETS OF NEGATIVE FEEDBACK
The present disclosure relates to systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media that utilize collaborative filtering and a reinforcement learning model having an actor-critic framework to provide digital content items across client devices. In particular, in one or more embodiments, the disclosed systems monitor interactions of a client device with one or more digital content items to generate item embeddings (e.g., utilizing a collaborative filtering model). The disclosed systems further utilize a reinforcement learning model to generate a recommendation (e.g., determine one or more additional digital content items to provide to the client device) based on the user interactions. In some implementations, the disclosed systems utilize the reinforcement learning model to analyze every negative and positive interaction observed when generating the recommendation. Further, the disclosed systems utilize the reinforcement learning model to analyze item embeddings, which encode the relationships among the digital content items, when generating the recommendation.
