A method for integrating a Proof of Storage (PoS) into a blockchain increases security, robustness and verifiability of a blockchain network. A part of the blockchain to be stored is received at a first one of a plurality of mining nodes of the blockchain network. The part of the blockchain is stored. Mining of the new block is bound to the stored data and performed so as to enforce that the mining nodes store different parts of the blockchain. The PoS is integrated into the new block. The PoS is verified before accepting the new block into the blockchain.

System for enhanced authentication using non-fungible tokens (NFTs)

Enhanced authentication at resource event apparatuses of a card device and, in some instances, the user of the card device. Card device-specific Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs) are generated and, in some instance, user credential-specific NFTs are generated. The NFTs are stored within a distributed ledger of a distributed trust computing network, which provides verification as the uniqueness and authenticity of the NFTs. Once a resource event is initiated at a resource event apparatus, card device-related information and, in some instance, user credential-related information is received, and the information is compared to the corresponding NFT as a means of authenticating the card device and, in some instances, the card device and the linked user of the card device. As a result, the use of imitation card devices is prevented and, in some instances, the identity of the user of the card device is authenticated and deemed to be linked to the card device.

Digital images of the contents/physical objects and evidentiary artifacts associated with the objects are captured and used to assess an initial resource volume. In specific embodiments, Non-Fungible Token(s) are generated using the digital image and the initial resource volume as inputs. Subsequently, nodes of a distributed trusts computing network are tasked with determining a current resource advancement volume for the NFT(s) based on the current demand, current resource advancement providers assessment and the initial resource volume. As a result of the present invention, a secure container holder or entity having an interest in the contents of the secure container is able to take otherwise idle property (i.e., the contents/objects in the secure container) and use them to create a tradeable commodity in the form of an NFT and/or leverage resource liquidity.

When the living body enters the metaverse, an avatar carrier for entering the metaverse is generated based on the metadata of the non-fungible token, and when the avatar carrier receives an identification request, the avatar carrier is permitted to provide at least one of the physiological feature and the real-name identity message, so as to achieve the effect of improving identifiability and authentication of the avatar carrier of the metaverse.
