A system is provided which utilizes multiple combinations of object location technology to locate objects and direct users to them, and which provides reliable owner recognition and ownership verification with the use of displayed augmented reality with a predefined image of the object and/or the user. Further, the system utilizes augmented reality fingerprint markers. When the augmented reality fingerprint marker is positioned on an object and scanned with a smart device, information relating to the object is superimposed on the object displayed on the smart device.

Concealed object detection

A method for detecting the presence of on-body concealed objects includes receiving a visible-domain camera image for a scene, determining, using the visible-domain camera image, a region of interest where a subject is present, receiving an infrared-domain camera image and a millimeter-wave (mmwave) radar image that each cover the region of interest, determining emissivity information for the region of interest using the infrared-domain camera image, determining reflectivity information for the region of interest using the mmwave radar image and determining a concealed object classification for the subject based on the emissivity information and the reflectivity information. A corresponding system and computer program product for executing the above method are also disclosed herein.

CORRECTION OF IMAGES

A method for inspecting cargo with is disclosed. The method includes scanning the cargo with a matrix including at least two rows of detectors, wherein each zone of the cargo irradiated by a first X ray pulse is irradiated by at least one second X ray pulse, and a radiation corresponding to the first X ray pulse is detected by a first row of the matrix, and a radiation corresponding to the at least one second pulse is detected by at least one second row of the matrix, generating a first image of the cargo and at least one second image of the cargo, determining, for each zone of the cargo irradiated, a local mutual parasitic displacement between the cargo and the matrix, determining a total mutual parasitic displacement, and generating a corrected image of the cargo without the mutual parasitic displacement.

The present patent application relates to a volume measurement method and system, an apparatus and a computer-readable storage medium. The method comprises: collecting a first information of a measurement area when there is no object to be measured and a first depth image information of the measurement area when there is an object to be measured under a current viewing angle based on a 3D vision system located above the measurement area; identifying an outer contour of the object to be measured by comparing gray values of the first information and the first depth image information collected under different viewing angles to obtain a first depth information of the outer contour of the object to be measured, and filling in an area defined by the outer contour of the object to be measured to obtain a target of object to be measured and size information of the target of object to be measured; performing block division on an outer contour area of the object to be measured according to a preset relationship between the first depth information and divided blocks to generate block information; and obtaining a volume of the object to be measured according to a preset relationship among the block information, the size information of the target of object to be measured, and a volume of the object to be measured. According to the method, measurement is performed based on 3D vision, and the objects to be measured are directly measured, so the measurement speed is fast, the measurement accuracy is high, and the measurement range is large.

METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PERFORMING OBJECT DIMENSIONING

Aspects of the present disclosure include aligning multiple three-dimensional (3D) point clouds into a common 3D point cloud. A first subset of points within a first 3D point cloud generated from one time-of-flight (TOF) view can be associated with a second subset of points within a second 3D point cloud generated from another TOF view based on each point in the first subset of points having a threshold correspondence to a unique counterpart point in the second subset of points. The first subset of points and the second subset of points can be refined, and a relative rotation and translation between the first 3D point cloud and the second 3D point cloud can be determined. The first 3D point cloud and the second 3D point cloud can be aligned within a common coordinate system based on the relative rotation and translation.
