METHODS AND APPARATUSES TO FACILITATE STRAIN MEASUREMENT IN TEXTILES
A system for producing a textile component of an article includes an additive manufacturing device in selective communication with a processor and memory. The processor and memory are configured to determine a strain value in a region of the textile component of the article based on images of the article from a camera in selective communication with the processor and memory and to generate a strain map based on the strain value. The additive manufacturing device is configured to apply a reinforcement to a textile substrate to variably reinforce the textile substrate according to the strain map and to form the textile component of the article.
SEWING DATA GENERATING APPARATUS, SEWING DATA GENERATING METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM FOR STORING PROGRAM, AND SEWING SYSTEM
A sewing data generating unit acquires embroidery frame information and a mark alignment region displayed on a display unit for guiding multiple marks that define an embroidery region of the embroidery frame. When the marks are all positioned within the mark alignment region displayed on the display unit, the sewing data generating apparatus acquires an image of the embroidery frame and a sewing target mounted on a base cloth mounted on the embroidery frame. The sewing data generating apparatus performs image analysis based on a correspondence between the acquired information with respect to the embroidery frame and the marks in the acquired image, so as to determine the embroidery region of the embroidery frame. The sewing data generating apparatus generates outline data for the sewing target based on the determined embroidery region. This allows an applique to be sewn at an accurate position without a need to prepare dedicated data.
EMBROIDERY DESIGN CONNECTING DATA GENERATING APPARATUS, EMBROIDERY DESIGN CONNECTING DATA GENERATING METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM FOR STORING PROGRAM, AND SEWING SYSTEM
When marks all align with a mark alignment region in an image, an image is acquired for an embroidery frame and embroidery design sewn to a portion of a cloth mounted on the frame. Image analysis is performed based on correspondence between acquired information for the embroidery frame and for the marks. The embroidery region of the embroidery frame is determined based on analysis results. Acquired images of the cloth having the embroidery design portion and an embroidery design to be sewn to it are displayed. The embroidery design image to be sewn is edited to connect it to the image of the embroidery design already sewn to the portion in the displayed image. This prevents the occurrence of overlapping or gaps between embroidery design units even if accumulated shrinkage occurs in sewing, or slight alignment errors occur in position or rotation when cloth is mounted on the embroidery frame.
METHOD AND DEVICE FOR INTELLIGENTLY CONTROLLING CONTINUOUS PROCESSING OF FLEXIBLE MATERIAL
Disclosed is a method and device for controlling continuous processing of a flexible material, which includes generating an outer profile diagram and a defect profile diagram from an image of a collected flexible material; converting and merging the outer profile diagram and the defect profile diagram to generate a vector data format file of profile information; typesetting according to an outer profile and a defect profile of the vector data format file of profile information, so as to generate a graphic format file of a profile to be processed; converting the graphic format file of the profile to be processed into a graphic language format file of the profile to be processed; performing trajectory optimization to generate an industrial-standard HPGL instruction; compiling the industrial-standard HPGL instruction to generate a control signal; and transmitting the control signal to a motion execution system, and performing cutting by the motion execution system.
EMBROIDERY REGION DETECTION APPARATUS, EMBROIDERY REGION DETECTION METHOD, RECORDING MEDIUM FOR STORING PROGRAM, AND EMBROIDERY DESIGN LAYOUT SYSTEM
Information with respect to an embroidery frame and information with respect to a mark alignment region are acquired. The mark alignment region is displayed for guiding multiple marks that are provided to an embroidery frame in order to define an embroidery region in the embroidery frame. When the multiple marks thus displayed are all positioned within the mark alignment region, an image of the embroidery region is acquired. Image analysis is performed based on the information with respect to the embroidery frame thus acquired and the information with respect to the multiple corresponding marks within the acquired image. Subsequently, the embroidery region within the embroidery frame is determined based on the analysis result. This allows the embroidery region to be detected with high precision in a simple manner.
System for 3D Clothing Model Creation
A system for creating a model of an article of clothing or other wearable, the system includes a mannequin or other model of at least a portion of a human form; a sensing device configured to scan the mannequin without the wearable to generate a first scan information and configured to scan the surface of the wearable on the mannequin to generate a second scan information; a processor communicatively coupled to the sensing device to receive the first and second scan information, the processor configured to: generate point clouds using the scan information; aligning the point clouds; generating a plurality of slices along at least one longitudinal axis through the point clouds, each slice having a centroid along a corresponding longitudinal axis; and generating a table having a plurality of entries each representing a distance between corresponding vertices for the pair of point clouds; the table representing the wearable.
AUTOMATIC METHOD TO DETERMINE THE AUTHENTICITY OF A PRODUCT
The present invention relates to an automatic method to determine the authenticity of a product.
System and method for detecting mismatched pages
Systems and methods using registration marks to detect page mismatches when making physical books are described. The system can be configured to capture an image of a plurality of pages, analyze the plurality of pages to determine whether a page does not include a registration mark, and provide results of the analyzing. In one example, if individual pages of the plurality of pages include the registration mark, then the results can include a message indicating that the plurality of pages are associated with the physical book. However, if one page of the plurality of pages lacks the registration mark, then the results can include a message indicating that the plurality of pages are associated with at least two physical books.
Augmented reality of paper sheet with quality measurement information
Augmented reality techniques for monitoring and controlling continuous sheetmaking systems superimpose real-time sheet quality measurements onto images of the sheet and/or machine during production. A portable, hand-held computer device that is equipped with a camera, such as a tablet or smartphone, enables an operator to direct the device at the sheet along specific locations of the papermaking machine and view an indication of one or more quality measurements that are superimposed over the image of the paper. The operator can assess and resolve problems associated with the sheet being produced and/or machine.
Methods and systems for triggered on-loom fabric inspection
On-loom fabric inspection system (500) including an imaging device (522) configured to collect images of a weaving area (518) of a loom (502). An image-capture trigger-mechanism (529) triggers the imaging device (522) to capture images at required instants during the weaving cycle. An image processor (524) receives data from the imaging device (522) and further detects irregularities in the data.
