Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and an apparatus for displaying a business object in a video image and an electronic device. The method for displaying a business object in a video image includes: detecting at least one target object from a video image, and determining a feature point of the at least one target object; determining a display position of a to-be-displayed business object in the video image according to the feature point of the at least one target object; and drawing the business object at the display position by using computer graphics. According to the embodiments of the present disclosure, the method and apparatus are conductive to saving network resources and system resources of a client.

Symbol detection for desired image reconstruction

In some implementations, a computer-implemented method includes: obtaining a captured image including, (i) a latent fingerprint to be captured, and (ii) a template, surrounding the latent fingerprint, that contains plurality of symbols; extracting, using an image processing technique, one or more characteristics for each of the plurality of symbols; calculating a resolution for the captured image based at least on the extracted one or more characteristics for each of the plurality of symbols; generating a reconstructed desired image, based at least on (i) the calculated resolution of the captured image, and (ii) the one or more extracted characteristics for each of the plurality of symbols; and providing the reconstructed desired image to a fingerprint identification system to perform a particular fingerprint operation.

Image processing method, image processing apparatus

A processor determines a cause of an image defect based on a test image that is obtained through an image reading process performed on an output sheet output from an image forming device. The processor extracts a vertical stripe part extending along a sub scanning direction in the test image. Furthermore, the processor determines which of predetermined two types of cause candidates is a cause of the vertical stripe part, based on a distribution of a pixel value sequence along a main scanning direction that crosses the sub scanning direction, in a target part including the vertical stripe part in the test image.

Implicit coordinates and local neighborhood
12211242 · 2025-01-28 · ·

A system and method are disclosed for using a local neighborhood for determining similar targets in different documents or using implicit coordinates for obtaining a coordinate location of a target. The local neighborhood method may include identifying a first target in a first document; identifying one or more first elements within a first distance range from the first target; creating a first local neighborhood based on the identifying; determining that that first local neighborhood is similar to a third local neighborhood in a second document; and determining a second target in the second document that corresponds to the first target in the first document, based on the determining the similarity. The implicit coordinates method may include performing OCR on the first document to find the first target; and obtaining a first location of the first target by using at least one of OCR or element recognition.

Programmable overlay for negotiable instrument electronic image processing

Embodiments of the invention include systems, methods, and computer-program products for generating an overlay of a highlight or mask of a negotiable instrument on a representative's display for keying the instrument. The system overlays and changes the display of a representative's computer screen in real-time for improved keying instruments by generating highlighting or masking of specified portions of the instrument. The invention generates a grid including an X and Y axis on the instrument and identifies the parameter coordinates for the various indicia on the instrument. The invention may contain code for highlighting or masking various indicia on the instrument using the parameter coordinates for mapping. A programmed overlay may be performed on an image of the instrument in real-time as it is queued onto a representative's display. Upon completion of the representative's keying of the instrument, the overlay is removed for storage of the image of the instrument.
