The disclosure herein relates to systems, methods, and devices for medical image analysis, diagnosis, risk stratification, decision making and/or disease tracking. In some embodiments, the systems, devices, and methods described herein are configured to analyze non-invasive medical images of a subject to automatically and/or dynamically identify one or more features, such as plaque and vessels, and/or derive one or more quantified plaque parameters, such as radiodensity, radiodensity composition, volume, radiodensity heterogeneity, geometry, location, and/or the like. In some embodiments, the systems, devices, and methods described herein are further configured to generate one or more assessments of plaque-based diseases from raw medical images using one or more of the identified features and/or quantified parameters.

A distortion correction component of a mobile device receives an image of a spread open multi-page document, determines a binding edge line of the spread open multi-page document, determines a first set of substantially vertical straight lines lying left of the binding edge line and a second set of substantially vertical straight lines lying right of the binding edge line. The distortion correction component then determines a first vanishing point based on the first set of substantially vertical straight lines and a second vanishing point based on the second set of substantially vertical straight lines. A first quadrangle is determined based on the first vanishing point and a second quadrangle is determined based on the second vanishing point. A corrected image for the first page is generated based on the first quadrangle and a corrected image for the second page is generated based on the second quadrangle.

Detecting specified image identifiers on objects

Embodiments of the present application relate to a method, apparatus, and system for detecting a specified image identifier. The method includes retrieving a target image to be detected from a predetermined area, binarizing the target image to be detected to obtain a target binary image to be detected, calibrating connected domains of the target binary image to be detected, successively retrieving image features of candidate connected domains, and comparing the image features corresponding to the candidate connected domains to image features of a standard specified identifier image, wherein the candidate connected domains are determined based at least in part on the calibration of the connected domains, and determining a candidate connected domain as the location of the specified identifier image based at least in part on the comparison of the image features corresponding to the candidate connected domains to image features of the standard specified identifier image.

Road surface management system and road surface management method thereof

According to one embodiment, a road surface management system inputs image data of road surface and capturing information of each of the image data and registers them. The image data are collected by repeatedly capturing a same route at predetermined distance. The capturing information includes information of a location and time at time of capturing. The system selects old and new images at a same spot from the registered image data, performs an association process, extracts an original image which is an old image at an arbitrary spot and a target image which is a new image associated with the original image unit based on the result of the association process, and outputs the original image and the target image.

Accelerated object labeling using prior geometric knowledge

In an approach for propagating labels of objects in an image, a processor receives the image. A processor performs a normalization of the image. A processor runs the image through a pre-trained object detector. A processor receives a set of detected objects from the pre-trained object detector. A processor determines a width dimension and a height dimension of a bounding box for each detected object of the set of detected objects. A processor propagates a label for each instance of each detected object in the image with the respective bounding box using prior geometric knowledge of bounding box placement. A processor inverses the normalization of the labeled image. A processor outputs the labeled image.
