METHOD FOR GENERATING CUSTOMIZED SPATIAL AUDIO WITH HEAD TRACKING
A headphone for spatial audio rendering includes a first database having an impulse response pair corresponding to a reference speaker location. A head sensor provides head orientation information to a second database having rotation filters, the filters corresponding to different azimuth and elevation positions relative to the reference speaker location. A digital signal processor combines the rotation filters with the impulse response pair to generate an output binaural audio signal to transducers of the headphone. Efficiencies in creating impulse response or HRTF databases are achieved by sampling the impulse response less frequently than in conventional methods. This sampling at coarser intervals reduces the number of data measurements required to generate a spherical grid and reduces the time involved in capturing the impulse responses. Impulse responses for data points falling between the sampled data points are generated by interpolating in the frequency domain.
SYSTEM, METHOD, AND COMPUTER PROGRAM FOR CAPTURING AN IMAGE WITH CORRECT SKIN TONE EXPOSURE
A system and method are provided for capturing an image with correct skin tone exposure. In use, one or more faces having threshold skin tone are detected within a scene. Based on the detected one or more faces, a high dynamic range (HDR) capture mode is enabled. Further, the scene image is captured using the HDR capture mode.
PICTURE METADATA FOR HIGH DYNAMIC RANGE VIDEO
Methods and systems for generating dynamic picture metadata are presented. Given an input picture generated on a mastering display, characteristics of a target display which is different than the mastering display, and an initial set of dynamic metadata for the input picture, an iterative algorithm: maps the input image to a mapped image for the target display according to a display management process and the image metadata, compares the input image to the mapped image according to a visual appearance-matching metric, and updates the image metadata using an optimization technique until a visibility difference value between the input image and the mapped image according to the visual appearance-matching metric is below a threshold.
ILLEGAL BUILDING IDENTIFICATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
Provided are an illegal building identification method and apparatus, a device, and a storage medium, which relate to the field of cloud computing. The specific implementation scheme is: acquiring a target image and a reference image associated with the target image; extracting a target building feature of the target image and a reference building feature of the reference image, respectively; and determining, according to the target building feature and the reference building feature, an illegal building identification result of the target image.
Solution for Determination of Supraphysiological Body Joint Movements
A solution for non-invasive determination of supraphysiological body joint kinematics. The solution obtains external images related to a test procedure of the body joint and performs image analysis on the obtained images to define a pattern of a plurality of spatial points in a region of interest. Each individual spatial point is defined by a unique pattern of neighboring surrounding pixels in each image, and the pattern is part of a high-contrast speckle pattern applied to the body joint. The solution identifies displacements of the spatial points in subsequently obtained images by tracing a location of the unique pattern of neighboring pixels in each image in relation to a base image of the body joint, calculates deformation measures from the displacements of the plurality of spatial points, and obtains deformation measures of a reference body joint. The solution compares the deformation measures and determines supraphysiological body joint kinematics from the comparison.
Speed And Slip Determinations For A Vehicle Using Optical Flow Technology
A vehicle speed and/or slip of a vehicle is determined. At least first and second images of a traveling surface captured by an image sensor using an optical lens are received by a processor. The images are used to determine the distance travelled by one or more pixels in first and second directions. These distances, along with the sampling rate of the image sensor, determine pixel speed in the first and second directions. The pixel speeds in the first direction, the second direction, or both, may be used to calculate the vehicle speed, a side slip angle, or a longitudinal slip. A tire speed may also be similarly determined using a second image sensor, a second optical lens, and a second processor capturing images of the tire surface. These vehicle parameters may be used for testing or operating the vehicle, including modifying vehicle behavior during operation.
