METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR FACILITATING ACCESS TO RECORDED DATA
20220114669 · 2022-04-14 ·

The present invention relates to a method and system for facilitating access to recorded data. The system comprises an interface and a processing device. The interface is arranged to receive data and the processing device is arranged to separate the received data in data subsets, compress each data subset and assign an identifier to each compressed data subset, thereby creating data units each comprising a compressed data subset and an associated identifier, the processing device further being arranged to establish an index on the basis of the assigned identifiers.

PRE-EMPTIVE GENERATION OF AUTONOMOUS UNMANNED AERIAL VEHICLE INSPECTIONS ACCORDING TO MONITORED SENSOR EVENTS

A property is identified for inspection based on a determination of a weather event impacting the property. A flight plan usable by an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in identifying an extent of damage to the property caused by the weather event is determined. A user interface is presented at a user device. The user interface includes user interface controls configured for toggling layers of the user interface. The layers include a first layer that includes a geofence, a second layer that includes an inspection area of the property, a third layer that includes one of a launch location or a landing location of the UAV, and a fourth layer that includes a base map layer of an area that includes the property. A modification to the flight plan is received via the user interface.

SEE-THROUGH COMPUTER DISPLAY SYSTEMS

Determining the state of infrastructure in a region of interest

A method includes confirming when a vehicle accesses a region of interest, obtaining data associated within the region of interest, and determining, based on analytics performed on the data obtained of the region of interest, whether one or more anomalies are present at the region of interest. Obtaining data includes at least one of collecting, with an imaging sensor associated with the vehicle, image data of a given point of interest within the region of interest or collecting, with a motion sensor associated with the vehicle, motion data of the vehicle in a given fragment of interest within the region of interest. The confirming, obtaining and determining steps are performed by at least one processing device comprising a processor operatively coupled to a memory.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING VIDEO DATA FOR ACTIVITY MONITORING

Embodiments of a method and system described herein enable capture of video data streams from multiple, different video data source devices and the processing of the video data streams. The video data streams are merged such that various data protocols can all be processed with the same worker processors on different types of operating systems, which are typically distributed. In an embodiment the multiple video data sources comprises at least one mobile device executing a video sensing application that produces a video data stream for processing by video analysis worker processes. The processes include automatically detecting features in an urban scene comprising sidewalks, roads, bike routes and road crossings.

This disclosure relates to an image recognition method: receiving, by a data center, a first feature value sent by a first edge station, where the data center communicates with the first edge station through a network, and the first feature value is obtained by the first edge station by preprocessing a first image obtained by the first edge station; determining a first attribute based on the first feature value; sending a first label to an edge station in an edge station set, where the first label includes a target feature value and the first attribute, the target feature value is a feature value associated with the first attribute, and the edge station set includes the first edge station; receiving at least one image recognition result sent by the edge station in the edge station set; and, determining a location of a target object based on the image recognition result.

JOINT DETECTION AND DESCRIPTION SYSTEMS AND METHODS

A system for detecting and describing keypoints in images is described. A camera is configured to capture an image including a plurality of pixels. A fully convolutional network is configured to jointly and concurrently: generate descriptors for each of the pixels, respectively; generate reliability scores for each of the pixels, respectively; and generate repeatability scores for each of the pixels, respectively. A scoring module is configured to generate scores for the pixels, respectively, based on the reliability scores and the repeatability scores of the pixels, respectively. A keypoint list module is configured to: select X of the pixels having the X highest scores, where X is an integer greater than 1; and generate a keypoint list including: locations of the selected X pixels; and the descriptors of the selected X pixels.
