IMAGE PROCESSING DEVICE, IMAGING APPARATUS, IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD, AND PROGRAM

An image processing device includes a processor and a memory connected to or built in the processor. The processor recognizes a subject included in a subject group based on image data obtained by imaging the subject group with an imaging apparatus, displays an image indicated by the image data on a display, and displays a plurality of subject regions, which are included in the image, correspond to a plurality of subjects included in the subject group, and satisfy a predetermined condition, in the image in an aspect that is capable of being identified as one object based on a result of recognizing the subject.

REAL-TIME RISK TRACKING

A mapping of a physical environment and objects within the physical environment are generated. The objects are tracked within the physical environment and any transaction data associated with transaction correlated with the objects. The objects, relationships between each object, and any transaction data are evaluated to assign a risk score or an assessment needs score. Each score is mapped to one or more unique visual features and a heat map is generated that depicts the objects within the physical environment along with their visual features. The heat map is continuously updated in real time as scores change for the objects and the visual features change. The heat map is rendered within an interface of a device operated or worn by an attendant to assist the attendant in quickly ascertaining any risk of loss, any risk of threat, and/or any customer in need of assistance within the physical environment.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PEOPLE FLOW ANALYSIS WITH INFLOW ESTIMATION

Example implementations described herein involve an attribute of an inflow source that is assigned to each trajectory in the camera view, which is used for crowd analysis. The inflow source is estimated using techniques of tracking across cameras. If the inflow source is different even if the flow trajectories are the same direction, the trajectories are visualized in different styles. By using the attribute of the inflow source, it is possible to detect changes and anomalies in the crowd that were difficult to detect using the prior art.

Methods and systems for predicting wait time of queues at service area

This disclosure relates generally to methods and systems for predicting wait time of queues at service area such as market places including retail stores and super markets. The present methods and systems accurately predicts the wait times of the plurality of queues by utilizing various visual cues of the customers, along with the number of service items and the efficiency of the service operator. The visual cues including a demographic factor such as age, gender, ethnicity of the customer and a senti-motional factor such as sentiments including positive attitude or negative attitude and emotions of the customers including happy state, sad state, and irritation state of the customer. The customers may choose the queue having least predicted wait time and may take informed decision hoping for faster check-out, based on the predicted wait times of the queues. Hence, customer experience and customer satisfaction may be achieved.

Method for processing multimodal images, apparatus, device and storage medium

Provided are a method for processing multimodal images, an apparatus, a device and a storage medium. Multiple types of vision sensors are disposed in first preset identity recognition scenario. The method includes: if it is determined that a first vision sensor detects a biometric part of a target object, controlling each vision sensor to separately perform image acquisition for the biometric part in accordance with a preset acquisition strategy to obtain a target visual image of corresponding type and acquisition time information of the target visual image; performing identity recognition for the target object according to first target visual image to determine object identification information corresponding to first target visual image; determining object identification information corresponding to a target visual image of other type other than first target visual image according to acquisition time information of each target visual image and object identification information corresponding to first target visual image.

Information processing apparatus, information processing method, and road surface marking system

An information processing apparatus controls a road surface marking apparatus configured to form any road surface marking by changing light emission patterns of a plurality of light emitters provided on a road surface. In the information processing apparatus, a control unit detects, when switching from a second traffic lane through which a pedestrian is allowed to pass to a first traffic lane through which a pedestrian is prohibited from passing is executed, a user who is a pedestrian remaining in the first traffic lane after the switching. Then, the control unit causes the road surface marking apparatus to form an urging marking used for urging the user to withdraw from the first traffic lane after the switching.

[Problem] To provide a motion condition estimation device, a motion condition estimation method and a motion condition estimation program capable of accurately estimating the motion condition of monitored subjects even in a crowded environment. [Solution] A motion condition estimation device according to the present invention is provided with a quantity estimating means and a motion condition estimating means. The quantity estimating means uses a plurality of chronologically consecutive images to estimate a quantity of monitored subjects for each local region in each image. The motion condition estimating means estimates the motion condition of the monitored subjects from chronological changes in the quantities estimated in each local region.

MANAGEMENT DEVICE, MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, MONITORING SYSTEM, ESTIMATING METHOD, ANDRECORDING MEDIUM

A management device that includes an instruction unit that acquires metadata of video data of an area to be monitored generated by a monitoring terminal that detects an event from the video data, outputs, in response to an acquisition of metadata including information about the event, an analysis instruction for the video data of the area to be monitored imaged in a time zone including a time of detection of the event to a video analysis device that detects the event from the video data, and acquires an analysis result including information about the event detected from the video data by an analysis by the video analysis device, and an estimation unit that estimates a case event that has occurred in the area to be monitored based on the event detected by the monitoring terminal and the event detected by the video analysis device.

GROUP IDENTIFICATION AND MONITORING

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for group identification and monitoring. The methods, systems, and apparatus include actions of determining, using one or more first frames of a video sequence, that two people each of whom is depicted in at least one of the first frames satisfy a grouping criteria that indicates that the two people should be grouped for video analysis, determining, using one or more second frames of the video sequence at least some of which were captured after the one or more first frames and which depict at least one of the two people, that the two people satisfy a degrouping criteria that indicates that the two people should not be grouped for video analysis, determining that a physical distance between the two people violates a distance criteria, and providing an alert that the distance criteria is violated.
