Using identity information to facilitate interaction with people moving through areas
A system receives a digital representation of a biometric for a person, uses the digital representation of the biometric to determine and/or otherwise retrieve identity information associated with the person, and uses the identity information to perform one or more actions related to the person's presence in one or more areas. For example, the system may estimate a path for the person and signal an agent electronic device based on the path. In another example, the system may determine a presence of a person within the area and/or transmit information to an agent electronic device regarding the determined presence. In still another example, the system may receive a request to communicate with the person and forward the communication to the person using the identity information.
System and method for interactive perception and content presentation
A method and system for content display. The method includes: capturing, by an imaging device, a plurality of images of an environment; generating, by a computing device, first user profiles based on appearance of users recognized in the images; detecting devices in the environment and associating the detected devices to the users to obtain associated devices that are held by the users; retrieving, by the computing device, second user profiles of the users based on identifications of the associated devices; selecting at least one content based on the first user profiles and the second user profiles; and displaying the at least one selected content.
System, method and storage medium for detecting people entering and leaving a field
A method for detecting people entering and leaving a field is provided in an embodiment of the disclosure. The method includes the following. An event detection area corresponding to an entrance is set, and the event detection area includes an upper boundary, a lower boundary, and an internal area, and the lower boundary includes a left boundary, a right boundary, and a bottom boundary; a person image corresponding to a person in an image stream is detected and tracked; and whether the person passes through or does not pass through the entrance is determined according to a first detection result and a second detection result.
VEHICLE MONITORING SYSTEM AND VEHICLE MONITORING METHOD
A vehicle monitoring system and a vehicle monitoring method, the vehicle monitoring system comprising: a camera module, used for photographing one or more first images and one or more second images after a vehicle starts, the first images being obtained by photographing embarking passengers, the second images being obtained by photographing disembarking passengers; a processing module, connected to the camera module, and used for performing facial analysis on the first images to determine the passengers embarking the vehicle, performing facial analysis on the second images to determine the passengers disembarking the vehicle, and sequentially matching the embarking passengers with the disembarking passengers; a reminder module, connected to the processing module, and used for pushing a left-behind passenger message to a driver if there is an embarking passenger who cannot be matched with a disembarking passenger, to warn the driver that there is a passenger currently left behind in the vehicle.
INFORMATION PROCESSING APPARATUS, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, INFORMATION PROCESSING SYSTEM, TERMINAL DEVICE, TERMINAL-DEVICE CONTROL METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
An information processing apparatus according to the present application includes a use-condition acquiring unit, an image acquiring unit, a reservation-information acquiring unit, and a selecting unit. The use-condition acquiring unit acquires a use condition of the store. The image acquiring unit acquires an image obtained by capturing an inside of the store. The reservation-information acquiring unit acquires reservation information of the store. The selecting unit selects a store estimated to be usable on a date and time indicated in the use condition based on the acquired image of the store and the reservation information of the store.
COGNITIVE COMPUTER CONTROLLED DISPLAY OF DIGITAL CONTENT TO AVOID UNWANTED DISPLAY CAPTURE
A computer presents digital content securely. The computer identifies a display device presenting digital content to an observation zone. The computer receives a feed from a sensor monitoring the observation zone. The computer identifies content of the feed using a convolutional neural network (CNN). The computer, upon detecting a trigger condition associated with said observation zone in response the identification by the CNN, takes at least one substantially-contemporaneous remedial action.
Detection of Contacts Among Event Participants
Systems and methods are presented for detecting physical contacts effectuated by actions performed by an entity participating in an event. An action, performed by the entity, is detected based on a sequence of pose data associated with the entity's performance in the event. A contact with another entity in the event is detected based on data associated with the detected action. The action and the contact detections are employed by neural-network based detectors.
ARRIVAL DETECTION FOR BATTERY-POWERED OPTICAL SENSORS
A method including, accessing an occupancy of the workspace. The method also includes, in response to the occupancy status indicating vacancy: at a first time, recording a first image and a second image of the workspace, the first image and the second image characterized by a first resolution; and executing an arrival detection model based on the first and second image. The method further includes, in response to detecting arrival at the workspace: at a third time, recording a third image of the workspace, the third image characterized by a second resolution greater than the first resolution; and executing an occupancy detection model based on the third image. The method additionally includes, in response to detecting occupancy of the workspace: updating the occupancy status to indicate occupancy; and transmitting the occupancy status to a remote scheduling system.
Machine perception using video/image sensors in an edge/service computing system architecture
An edge computing system is deployed at a physical location and receives an input from one or more image/video sensing mechanisms. The edge computing system executes artificial intelligence image/video processing modules on the received image/video streams and generates metrics by performing spatial analysis on the images/video stream. The metrics are provided to a multi-tenant service computing system where additional artificial intelligence (AI) modules are executed on the metrics to execute perception analytics. Client applications can then be run on the output of the AI modules in the multi-tenant service computing system.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PERSONALIZED NAVIGATION INSIDE A BUSINESS ENTERPRISE
Systems and methods for tracking movement of individuals through a building receive, by one or more RF nodes disposed near an entrance to the building, RF signals from RF-transmitting mobile devices carried by persons near the entrance, capture an image of the persons while they are near the entrance, determine an identity and relative distance of each RF-transmitting mobile device from each RF node based on information associated with the RF signals received by that RF node, detect humans in the image, determine a relative depth of each human in the image, and assign the identity of each RF-transmitting mobile device to one of the humans detected in the image based on the relative distance of each RF-transmitting mobile device from each RF node and the relative depth of each human in the image, thereby identifying each individual who to be tracked optically as that individual moves throughout the building.
