METHOD OF SUGGESTING SPEECH AND RECORDING MEDIUM
A method of suggesting a speech and a recording medium which may suggest an appropriate speech by determining a speech suggestion target using various information that a vehicle may obtain, includes obtaining a user image where at least one user inside the vehicle is photographed; detecting a user looking at a display inside the vehicle among the at least one user, based on the obtained user image; and determining a target user which is a target of the speech suggestion, based on a result of the detecting.
HARDWARE TIMER DATA EXPIRATION
An example operation includes one or more of determining a portion of memory in a transport to store data, establishing a timeframe when the data may be accessed based on a type of the data, and clearing the data from the portion of memory after the timeframe. The type of the data may be related to one or more of the transport and an occupant of the transport. A length of the timeframe is inversely proportional to a criticality of the type of the data.
ADAPTIVE PRIVACY FOR SHARED RIDES
Systems and methods for adapting various autonomous vehicle settings to protect personal information based on the composition of passengers in a vehicle. In particular, sensitive user information is intelligently parsed out or generalized based on user preference and the presence of unknown passengers. In some examples, sensitive user information is routed to more secure channels such as a mobile device application or a personalized display. In some implementations, the position of passengers within a vehicle is determined to identify which displays are in each passenger's field of view. Additionally, pick-up and drop-off locations can be scrambled to nearby destinations to obscure a home address, work address, or other identifiable address information.
Automotive virtual personal assistant
The present disclosure relates to an automotive virtual personal assistant configured to provide intelligent support to a user, mindful of the user environment both in and out of a vehicle. Further, the automotive virtual personal assistant is configured to contextualize user-specific vehicle-based and cloud-based data to intimately interact with the user and predict future user actions. Vehicle-based data may include spoken natural language, visible and infrared camera video, as well as on-board sensors of the type commonly found in vehicles. Cloud-based data may include web searchable content and connectivity to personal user accounts, fully integrated to provide an attentive and predictive user experience. In contextualizing and communicating these data, the automotive virtual personal assistant provides improved safety and an enhanced user experience.
Methods and systems for detecting whether a seat belt is used in a vehicle
A computer implemented method for detecting whether a seat belt is used in a vehicle comprises the following steps carried out by computer hardware components: acquiring an image of an interior of the vehicle; determining a plurality of sub-images based on the image; detecting, for at least one of the sub-images, whether a portion of the seat belt is present in the respective sub-image; and determining whether the seat belt is used based on the detecting.
Multimodal sensing of thermal comfort for adaptable climate control
An adaptable climate control method for controlling a thermal climate within a confined space based on thermal and/or physiological features of one or more occupants of the confined space is provided. The method includes receiving thermal images of a plurality of target areas from the occupants, identifying a plurality of interesting points of the received thermal images, and isolating the interesting points to construct thermal maps of the target areas. Thermal features of the occupants are determined using the respective thermal maps and the thermal features are used to construct thermal feature vectors for the occupants. Physiological features from physiological sensors can also be added as elements of the thermal feature vectors to form integrated vectors. The thermal feature vectors and/or integrated vectors are classified using a classifiers and at least a portion of the thermal climate of the confined space is adjusted based on the classification of the vectors.
Voice pickup method for intelligent rearview mirror, electronic device and storage medium
It is disclosed a voice pickup method and apparatus for an intelligent rearview mirror, an electronic device and a computer readable storage medium which relates to the technical field of vehicle-mounted equipment, and may be used in the field of automatic driving technologies. A voice pickup implementation of the intelligent rearview mirror according to some embodiments includes: acquiring an image of the interior of the vehicle; determining the position of a person in the vehicle with the image of the interior of the vehicle; and adjusting a beamforming direction of a microphone array according to the position of the person in the vehicle.
Vehicle with a plurality of airbag modules and a method of controlling the same
A vehicle detects a rotation angle of a seat, controls activation of a first type of roof airbag module provided in a central portion of a headlining and located at a side of the seat when the detected rotation angle of the seat is greater than a first reference angle and less than or equal to a second reference angle, controls activation of the first type of roof airbag module and a second type of roof airbag module provided in the central portion of the headlining and provided at a rear of the seat when the detected rotation angle of the seat is greater than the second reference angle and less than or equal to a third reference angle, determines whether a collision with an obstacle has occurred during traveling, and deploys and expands the activated airbag module when determining that the collision with the obstacle has occurred.
Method and installation for transporting vehicles hauled by a cable
Installation for transporting vehicles hauled by a cable, including an image acquisition system generating an image representative of a compartment of a vehicle, and an electronic control unit retrieving an identifier of the vehicle and recording the identifier and the representative image associated with the identifier in a non-volatile memory.
DETERMINING AN IDENTIFICATION OF AN OCCUPANT WITHIN A VEHICLE
A system for determining an identification of an occupant within a vehicle can include a processor, a communications interface, and a memory. The memory can store an information reception module, an identification prediction module, and an actuation module. The information reception module can cause the processor to receive, via the communications interface, from at least one sensor, and at a time when a source of a propulsion force for the vehicle is in an off state, at least one signal having information about at least one detectable characteristic associated with the occupant within the vehicle. The identification prediction module can cause the processor to produce, based on the information, a prediction of the identification of the occupant. The actuation module can cause the processor to cause, in response to a production of the prediction, a setting of a component of the vehicle to have a specific value.
