A method and a system are provided for creating a summarized multimedia content. The method extracts one or more frames from a plurality of frames in a multimedia content based on a measure of area occupied by a text content in a portion of each of the plurality of frames. The method selects one or more sentences from an audio content associated with the multimedia content based on at least a weight associated with a plurality of words present in the audio content. The method extracts one or more audio segments from the audio content associated with the multimedia content based on one or more parameters associated with the audio content. The method creates the summarized multimedia content based on the one or more frames, the one or more sentences, and the one or more audio segments.
Methods and apparatus to measure brand exposure in media streams
Methods and apparatus to measure brand exposure in media streams are disclosed. An example apparatus disclosed herein includes a brand identifier detector to compare first data associated with a first scene of a media stream with second data associated with a reference scene including a first brand identifier to detect the first brand identifier in the first scene of the media stream. The example apparatus also includes a measure and tracking module to combine respective locations of the first brand identifier in respective frames of a first sequence of image frames forming the first scene to determine a weighted location for the first brand identifier. The example apparatus further includes a report generator to report appearance data corresponding to the first brand identifier, the appearance data including the weighted location for the first brand identifier.

The method includes: calculating a pixel grayscale flag value, an edge gradient flag value and an edge direction flag value; calculating, in a preset neighborhood centered on the pixel at each pixel position of the current video frame, a first local confidence degree of the pixel grayscale flag value, a second local confidence degree of the edge gradient flag value, and a third local confidence degree of the edge direction flag value respectively; calculating a contribution score of each local confidence degree and a total contribution score of each pixel position; and gathering the total contribution score of each pixel position of the current video frame, and determining a static logo in the current video frame according to the total contribution score of each pixel position.

A first expression tag list corresponding to a face image in a portrait is acquired by inputting the face image into an expression recognition model. Additionally, at least one label text corresponding to the face image is determined based on the first expression tag list and a correspondence between a preset text and a second expression tag list. Furthermore, an expression image corresponding to the portrait is determined, where the face image is a part of the expression image. Moreover, an emoticon is generated by labelling the expression image with the at least one label text.
