A system is provided for processing documents. In particular, the system incorporates a feeder for feeding documents to a device for further processing of the documents. For instance, the system finds particular application in the field of document imaging in which a variety of documents of varying sizes and orientation are to be fed to an imaging system, such as a document scanner. The system may provide a sorting station that receives documents from a workstation and sorts the documents to a plurality of sort locations. The system may export the image data for the documents to a fileserver so that a remote operator can provide instructions for the processing of the documents so that the documents can be subsequently processed according to the instructions provided by the operator.

METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING TEXT INFORMATION INCLUDING TEXT EXTRACTED FROM CONTENT INCLUDING IMAGE

A method of providing text information associated with content includes identifying content including an image uploaded to a content server, extracting text from the image included in the content, and providing text information including the extracted text as the text information associated with the content.

Storage (24) stores therein a teacher model (54) that is a target image (50) with a teacher annotation (52), which specifies the target image (50), assigned thereto. An inferring section (32) assigns based on the teacher model (54) an inferred annotation (82) to an inspection image (80) belonging to the same category to which the target image (50) belongs. The inferred annotation (82) is a result of inference from the inspection image (80) based on the teacher model (54). An aiding section (34) aids a human to determine whether or not the inferred annotation (82) specifies the inspection image (80). A correcting section (36) generates a corrected model (86) in a manner to add a corrected annotation (84) to the inferred annotation (82) so that the inspection image (80) is specified.

Systems and methods for augmented-reality tutoring can utilize optical character recognition, natural language processing, and/or augmented-reality rendering for providing real-time notifications for completing a determined task. The systems and methods can include utilizing one or more machine-learned models trained for quantitative reasoning and can include providing a plurality of different user interface elements at different times.

METHOD OF PROCESSING ANALOG DATA AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE THEREOF
20190065447 · 2019-02-28 ·

A method and electronic device are provided for processing data. Analog text included in a document is detected. A first area of the analog text that converts to digital text and a second area of the analog text that does not convert to the digital text are determined. The digital text is displayed in the first area that converts to the digital text, and an image of at least a portion of the analog text is displayed in the second area that does not convert to digital text.

System for dynamic optical character recognition tuning

Embodiments of the present invention provide a system for dynamically tuning optical character recognition (OCR) processes. The system receives or captures an image of a resource document and uses a general or default OCR process to identify a source of the document and values of multiple data fields in the image of the document. When the system determines that a data field is missing or cannot be extracted, it causes a computing device to display the image of the resource document and requests user input of a coordinate area of the missing data field from an associated specialist. Once the user input is received, the system applies a data field-specific OCR process on the coordinate area of the missing data field to extract the value of the data field. This value of the missing data field can be transmitted to a processing system for further processing.
