READING AN OPTICAL CODE
A method of reading an optical code is provided that encodes a message that has a character chain having a plurality of characters, said method comprising the steps: of recording image data having the optical code; evaluating the image data by reading the message, including a first check code read from the optical code; comparing the read characters of the message with at least one scheme that, for a plurality of positions of the message, contains a character that is expected at this position in optical codes to be read; and, when a minimum portion of the characters of the scheme is relocated in the message on the comparison, taking over characters of the scheme into the message. In this respect, a second check code of the message is determined after a taking over of characters from a scheme into the message; and the first check code is compared with the second check code to validate the message changed by taking over characters from the scheme.
Method to use a single camera for barcoding and vision
Systems and methods for performing barcoding and machine vision with a single camera are disclosed herein. An example system includes an image sensor configured to capture low-resolution image data of a large field of view and high-resolution image data of a small field of view. A first data pipeline is configured to transmit the low-resolution image data to a first module configured to perform image processing on the low-resolution image data. A second data pipeline is configured to transmit the high-resolution image data to a second module configured to perform image processing on the high-resolution image data. Machine readable instructions cause the system to capture image data of the large field of view or the small field of view and the processor transmits either the low-resolution image data via the first data pipeline or the high-resolution image data via the second pipeline.
METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR MULTI-CAMERA TRACKING
Certain aspects of the present disclosure may include methods, systems, and non-transitory computer readable media for receiving one or more first images via a first camera associated with a first zone, identifying first features relating to a first object based on the one or more first images, receiving one or more second images via a second camera associated with a second zone, identifying second features relating to a second object based on the one or more second images, comparing the first features and the second features to generate a probability score indicating whether the first object is the same as the second object, determining, based on the probability score being higher than a threshold value, that the first object is the same as the second object, identifying the first object and the second object as the target object, and tracking the target object.
INSTANT CHECK CONVERSION
A computer implemented method, system, and non-transitory computer-readable device that may be used in a remote deposit environment. Upon receiving a user request, based on interactions with the UI, the method implements an electronic deposit of a financial instrument by activating a camera on the client device to generate a live video stream of image data of a field of view of at least one camera, wherein the live video stream includes imagery of at least a portion of each side of the financial instrument. The method continues by extracting data fields based on the formation of image objects on one or more sides of the financial instrument from the live video stream of image data. An EFT conversion of extracted data fields may be processed during or subsequent to the extraction process. A message is sent from a payee to a payor requesting the EFT. Upon acceptance, an EFT to the payee occurs. Upon denial, the remote deposit process is completed.
Auto-line-division system for handwriting manuscript for line-division of a handwriting manuscript from an electronic handwriting input panel
An auto-line-division system for handwriting manuscript for line-division of a handwriting manuscript from an electronic handwriting input panel is provided. Generally, in writing, various conditions will generate, such too large or too small words, isolation words, reversal strokes, etc. The system could process these problems in writing based on the setting of a standard line height and a standard line width. The edges and features in division of lines are detected and some values are calculated for correction of the line division so that efficiency of line division is promoted. Another, problems induced in the first line division is taken into consideration, and the problem of multiple lines due to mistake line division can be further correct to one single line. These problems could is corrected so as to promote the accuracy in line division.
LIDAR MANAGED IMAGE GENERATION
A computer implemented method, system, and non-transitory computer-readable device that may be used in a remote deposit environment. Upon receiving a user request, based on interactions with the UI, the method implements an electronic deposit of a financial instrument by activating a camera on the client device to generate a LIDAR managed live video stream of image data of a field of view of at least one camera, wherein the live video stream includes high quality confidence scored imagery of at least a portion of each side of the financial instrument. The method continues by extracting data fields based on the formation of image objects of each side of the financial instrument from the live video stream of image data. The extracted data fields are communicated to a remote deposit server to complete the remote deposit.
READING OPTICAL CODES
A method of reading an optical code is provided that encodes a message that has a character chain having a plurality of characters, said method comprising the steps: of recording image data having the optical code; evaluating the image data by reading the message; comparing the read characters of the message with at least one scheme that contains a character for at least one position of the message that is expected at this position in codes to be read; and checking or correcting the read message based on a scheme matching the message after the comparison. A prefabricated catalog of schemes is provided here and a subset of the schemes of the catalog is activated for the comparison with the read characters of the message.
