An online document system can allow users to track various amendments made over time and corresponding to an original document. The online document system accesses the original document comprising a plurality of content sections and a set of amendment documents each comprising one or more amendments to the original document. The online document system applies a machine-learned model to the original document and the set of amendment documents to identify, for each amendment, a content section of the plurality that corresponds to the amendment and a type of amendment corresponding to the amendment. The online document system generates an amended original document comprising the plurality of content sections modified to include each amendment. The online document system displays the amended original document by displaying each of the plurality of content sections and, in conjunction with each content section, any amendments corresponding to the content section are highlighted.

The method includes language detection from an image, understanding of text in an edited image and using a contextual and localized lexicon set for post optical character recognition (OCR) correction.
SYSTEM FOR VERIFYING THE IDENTITY OF A USER
A system receives an image including a live facial image of the user and an identity document including a photograph of the user. Moreover, the system calculates a facial match score by comparing facial features in the live facial image to facial features in the photograph. The system recognizes data objects and characters in the identity document using optical character recognition (OCR) and computer vision, and then identifies, based on the recognized data objects and characters, a type of the identity document. Further, the system calculates a document validity score by comparing the recognized characters and data objects to character strings and data objects known to be present in the identified type of the identity document. Additionally, the system determines and outputs the user's identity verification status based on comparing the facial match score to a facial match threshold and comparing the document validity score to a document validity threshold.

A method for processing an image of a physical document to show a redacted portion including: identifying a tag associated with the redacted portion and including first user rights; obtaining, using the identified tag, a digital copy of the physical document including a non-redacted form of the redacted portion; receiving, from an external device, second user rights; determining that the second user rights match the first user rights; outputting, based on the determination, information indicating that the non-redacted form of the redacted portion is able to be shown; receiving, in response to the non-redacted form being able to be shown, an instruction to display the non-redacted form; and displaying, based on the instruction and using a projector onto a surface a predetermined distance from the physical document, the non-redacted form of the redacted portion.

When presenting the first setting screen, the server presents it in a state in which, from the stored settings which the user selected to use settings identical to, a type of image data is omitted and settings required for transmission have been reflected. The server stores a type of the new target image data added to and associated with the selected stored settings.
