In-store card activation
A user having an account with a payment provider receives an unregistered payment card that is associated with the payment provider, and that includes a magnetic strip encoded with a number unique to the card and a machine readable code such as a QR/barcode embossed thereon. The user may then open an application on the user's mobile device to capture the number associated with the card by, for example, scanning the QR/barcode, capturing an image of the number, speaking the number into the device, or manually entering the number into the user's device. The user may also authenticate with the payment provider by entering login credentials. The user may then confirm a request to link the number of the card with the user's payment provider account, which activates and links the card to the user account so that the user can immediately use the card for purchases.

Multiple field of view (FOV) vision system
Multiple field of view (FOV) systems are disclosed herein. An example system includes a bioptic barcode reader having a target imaging region. The bioptic barcode reader includes at least one imager having a first FOV and a second FOV and is configured to capture an image of a target object from each FOV. The example system includes one or more processors configured to receive the images and a trained object recognition model stored in memory communicatively coupled to the one or more processors. The memory includes instructions that, when executed, cause the one or more processors to analyze the images to identify at least a portion of a barcode and one or more features associated with the target object. The instructions further cause the one or more processors to determine a target object identification probability and to determine whether a predicted product identifies the target object.
CONTROL UNIT FOR INTERFACING WITH A BLASTING PLAN LOGGER
The invention allows improved planning and implementation of blasting operations. A control unit for interfacing with a blasting plan logger is connected via a first interface to at least a headset comprising a wearable display. The control unit comprises at least one processor, and at least one memory comprising computer program code. The at least one memory and the computer program code are configured to, with the at least one processor, cause the control unit to at least operate the wearable display via the first interface to display information from a blasting plan logger to a user on the wearable display.
System and method for price matching through receipt capture
A system and method for generating a notification of a price change for a transaction and facilitating an associated price adjustment based on electronic image capture of a paper receipt. An image capture system captures an electronic image of a paper transaction receipt, which is transmitted to a data extraction processor that extracts transaction receipt data from the captured electronic image. A unique key is generated by an authentication server that is matched to a transaction record to generate a reliability score for the OCRed image and to authorize price matching. If the price monitoring server identifies that the price of a purchased transaction item has changed, the price monitoring server automatically generates a notification to the user indicating the price change and an email to the customer service department of the merchant from which the transaction item was purchased, requesting a price adjustment that is credited back to the payment instrument.

Imaging device, imaging system, vehicle running control system, and image processing device
An imaging device having an imager that includes first pixels having sensitivity to a first light and second pixels having sensitivity to a second light, a wavelength of the first light being different from a wavelength of the second light. The imager being configured to acquire first image data from the first pixels and being configured to acquire second image data from the second pixels. Each of the first image data and the second image data including an image of a code, the code being configured to output the second light. The imaging device further including an image processor configured to extract an image of the code based on the first image data and the second image data.
