A method and a device for acquiring character information in a picture, a non-transitory storage medium, a page processing method, and a knowledge graph construction method are disclosed. The method for acquiring character information in a picture includes: acquiring a picture and extracting at least one piece of character information in the picture; and checking-and-correcting the at least one piece of character information based on a knowledge graph.

The present disclosure provides an image processing method, a text recognition method and an apparatus. The image processing method includes: preprocessing acquired sample images to obtain position information, image blocks and text content corresponding to fields in the sample images respectively; making a mask prediction on the position information of the fields according to the position information, the image blocks and the text content corresponding to the fields respectively to obtain a prediction result; and training according to the prediction result to obtain a text recognition model, where the text recognition model is used to perform text recognition on a to-be-recognized image.

Described herein is a system and method for detecting a layout table by a screen reader. Information regarding a document being displayed by an application is received from an application programming interface of a user interface automation system that provides information regarding user interface elements of application and/or the application. The information includes an indication that the document comprises a table. A determination is made as to whether the table is a data table or a layout table based upon the received information using a rule-based heuristic. When it is determined that the table is a layout table, presentation information associated with the layout table can be skipped over, and, cell data content within the layout table provided. Thus, for a determined layout table, the system and method allow the screen reader to act as if the containing table doesn't exist, but still read the content.

In some implementations, a device may process an image to identify one or more first lines of the image that extend in a first dimension. The device may process the image to identify one or more second lines of the image that extend in a second dimension orthogonal to the first dimension. The device may identify portions of the one or more first lines that do not intersect with the one or more second lines. The device may process the image to obtain a version of the image in which the portions of the one or more first lines are removed.
