The present disclosure provides a method for performing identity recognition on a to-be-recognized object, an electronic device, and a non-transitory computer-readable storage medium. The method includes: acquiring, by the infrared camera, and in response to an infrared camera turn-on condition being met, a first image of a to-be-recognized target, and performing target detection on the first image, the to-be-recognized target being a finger and/or a palm; acquiring, by the visible light camera, and in response to a visible light camera turn-on condition being met, a second image of the to-be-recognized target, and performing identifier code recognition on the second image; performing, in response to the to-be-recognized target being detected from the first image, identity recognition based on a third image, and determining an identity recognition result of the to-be-recognized object, the third image being at least one image among the first image in which the to-be-recognized target is detected.

A fingerprint image processing device includes a memory, and a processor coupled to the memory. The processor performs operations. The operations include reading a tenprint card image which includes a plurality of fingerprint patterns and at least one ruled line to separate one fingerprint imprint area from another fingerprint imprint area, and extracting from the tenprint card image a fingerprint image which includes at least one of the fingerprint patterns, apart of a fingerprint imprint area, and a part of a next fingerprint imprint area.

Provided in a fingerprint image preprocessing method including receiving an input fingerprint image, performing a short-time Fourier transform (STFT) on the input fingerprint image to obtain a transformed fingerprint image, comparing the input fingerprint image and the transformed fingerprint image, and generating a combined image by combining the input fingerprint image and the transformed fingerprint image based on a result of the comparing.

A gesture recognition system and a gesture recognition method are provided. The gesture recognition system includes a fingerprint sensor and a processing circuit. The processing circuit obtains a first fingerprint image and a second fingerprint image through the fingerprint sensor. The processing circuit obtains a plurality of first coordinate parameters of a plurality of first coordinate points in the first fingerprint image, and obtains a plurality of second coordinate parameters of a plurality of second coordinate points in the second fingerprint image. The first coordinate points of the first fingerprint image and the second coordinate points of the second fingerprint image respectively have a plurality of grayscale values corresponding to each other. A method for fingerprint recognition and a fingerprint recognition device are provided. The method includes the following steps. A touch position of a touch panel is obtained as a fingerprint position. A fingerprint recognition operation is performed according to the fingerprint position. Whether the fingerprint recognition operation is successful is determined. In response to determining that the fingerprint recognition operation is not successful, at least one first position of the touch panel as an updated fingerprint position is generated according to the touch position of the touch panel, and the fingerprint recognition operation is performed according to the updated fingerprint position.

An electronic device is provided.
