LOCATION TRACKING FOR LOCKING DEVICE

Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer-readable media for wireless key management for authentication. Authentication includes transmitting a request to a locking device, transmitting a security challenge to the mobile device, and transmitting a response to the challenge and an encrypted user profile for the locking device. The response includes data generated with an access key that is stored by both the mobile device and the locking device, and the user profile is encrypted by a server using a secret key that is stored by the server and the locking device. Authentication further includes verifying the response to the challenge, where the response is verified using the access key, and validating additional data from the mobile device. An action of the locking device may be initiated as specified by the request.

WIRELESS CHARGING OF BATTERIES OF ACCESSING DEVICES

A method and an apparatus for wireless charging of batteries of electronic accessing devices. A method includes establishing a first connection between a battery of an accessing device and a receiver and a second connection between the accessing device and a transmitter, the transmitter and the receiver being associated with each other. The method further includes determining a charging status of the battery of the accessing device and communicating the charging status of the battery to the transmitter on determining that the charging status of the battery reaches below a predefined threshold value via the second connection. The method also includes charging the battery of the accessing device with power from the receiver using the first connection, wherein the receiver receives the power from the transmitter over the air.

ACCESS CONTROL ACCESSIBILITY

A door lock system includes a knob and an apparatus that controls transmission of displacement or rotational mechanical energy. A bolt is coupled to a door, an input rod and an output rod. At least one of an interior or exterior knob is coupled to the bolt and the apparatus that controls transmission of displacement or rotational mechanical energy. An energy source is coupled to the apparatus that controls transmission of displacement or rotational mechanical energy. The mobile device provides authorization to engage the apparatus that controls transmission of displacement or rotational mechanical energy and allows a door user to manually open the door.

Secure medication transport

A smart carrier has a housing comprising one or more docking locations configured to accept a secure receptacle, a wireless interface module disposed within the housing, and a processor disposed within the housing and operatively coupled to the one or more docking locations and the wireless interface module. The processor is configured to communicate with an external device through the wireless interface module and with a secure receptacle that is mated with one of the one or more docking locations. The smart carrier also has a battery disposed within the housing and configured to provide all operational power to the processor, the wireless interface module, and the one or more docking locations.

Electronic Cam Lock for Cabinet Doors, Drawers and Other Applications
20170221291 · 2017-08-03 ·

A cam lock for cabinets, drawers, drug cabinets, credenzas, sliding doors, lockers, mail boxes and other door type applications is compact in size, fits an existing cam lock opening and provides electronic access via a keypad or other electronic access. Using batteries, such as AAA size batteries or smaller, the lock has electronics that release a lock turn knob or handle when the correct code is entered. Preferably a set of electronic contacts is included at an accessible position on the lock housing to allow both master access and power jumping with a common manager's implement, for situations of lost codes and/or battery failure. In a particular embodiment the lock is long, narrow and low in profile so as to fit on the margin of a steel or wood file cabinet, compatible with the cam lock opening already provided. The locks, NFC-enabled, can be used in securing delivery boxes to enable delivery access, when authorized.

Keyless puck lock apparatus and system

A keyless puck lock apparatus with wireless communications and power interfaces. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a keyless puck lock system enabling a low cost and high security solution that is difficult to tamper with and defeat. In the preferred embodiment of the present invention, the system uses a keyless puck lock assembly that includes a hasp assembly and a keyless lock mechanism that does not require any physical mechanical keys so that it does not have a mechanical cylinder inserted therein to lock or unlock the puck lock. Accordingly, the keyless puck lock system in accordance with one or more embodiments of the present invention does not have a physical keyway which is a security attack point that is included in conventional hockey puck-type locks.

SYSTEM AND METHOD OF PROVIDING A WIRELESS UNLOCKING SYSTEM FOR A GROUP OF BATTERY-POWERED STORAGE DEVICES

A pair of devices includes a first device and a second device that communicate lock control signals. The first device can have both a reader component and a control module that controls both (1) a first operation of the first device (such as a sensor control) and (2) a first locking component of the first device for accessing a first door of the first device. A second device can be in communication with the first device. The second device can have a second locking component for the second device for accessing a second door of the second device. The second device in one aspect does not having a reader component or a control module that independently controls the second locking component.
