METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR MANAGING NETWORK SECURITY USING VIDEO SURVEILLANCE AND ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM
Aspects of the present disclosure include methods and systems for receiving, from a requester, a request for accessing an access-controlled asset based on authentication information of an authorized user, identifying a request location of the request, identifying a current location of the authorized user, determining whether the request location is substantially identical to the current location, and granting the request in response to authenticating the authentication information and determining that the request location is substantially identical to the current location, or denying the request in response to failure to authenticate the authentication information or determining that the request location is different than the current location.
Communication and Monitoring System
An audio-video communication system comprises a wireless exterior module located proximate an entrance, a computerized controller running a software application, and a remote peripheral device. The wireless exterior module includes a proximity sensor for detecting a person at the entrance, a video camera for recording an image of the person at the entrance, a microphone for recording the person at the entrance, a speaker for playing audio to the person at the entrance, a transmitter for communicating sounds and images of the person at the entrance, and a receiver for receiving communications at the wireless exterior module. The computerized controller is disposed in wireless electronic communication with the wireless exterior module via the transmitter and the receiver of the wireless exterior module. The remote peripheral device is configured to electronically communicate with the computerized controller for viewing an image from the video camera communicated from the wireless exterior module.
SYSTEM FOR MANAGING ACCESS TO A VEHICLE BY A SERVICE PROVIDER THAT IS TO PROVIDE A SERVICE ASSOCIATED WITH THE VEHICLE
In some implementations, a system may receive an access request associated with an agent and the vehicle. The system may authenticate, based on an agent identification associated with the agent, the agent in association with providing the vehicle service. The system may send, based on authenticating the agent, an authorization request to a user associated with the vehicle, wherein the authorization request is sent to a user device associated with the user that enables the user to authorize the agent to access the vehicle in association with providing the vehicle service. The system may receive, from the user device, a user authorization that authorizes the agent to access the vehicle. The system may configure the vehicle to enable the agent to access the vehicle via a client device associated with the agent.
Vehicle Theft Alarm Assembly
A vehicle theft alarm assembly includes a vehicle theft alarm that is integrated into a vehicle to sense impact on the vehicle. A key fob is provided that can be carried by a user and the key fob is in wireless communication with the vehicle theft alarm. The key fob emits an alert when the vehicle theft alarm is turned on to alert the user when the user is not close enough to the vehicle to hear the vehicle theft alarm. A personal electronic device is provided that can be employed by the user and the personal electronic device is in wireless communication with the vehicle theft alarm. The personal electronic device produces an alert when the vehicle theft alarm is turned on. In this way the personal electronic device can alert the user when the user is not close enough to the vehicle to hear the vehicle theft alarm.
WIRELESS LOCKSET WITH INTEGRATED ANGLE OF ARRIVAL (AOA) DETECTION
A lockset with a latch assembly having a bolt movable between an extended position and a retracted position. The lockset includes a motor configured to move the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position. A controller is provided that is configured to electronically control the motor to control movement of the bolt between the extended position and the retracted position responsive to receiving a valid authentication from an authentication device. The lockset includes a receiver connected to an antenna to detect an incoming wireless signal transmitted from an authentication device. The controller includes an angle of arrival sensor configured to determine a distance and a direction to the authentication device by analyzing a wireless phase and timing of the incoming wireless signal transmitted by the authentication device. The controller is configured to control movement of the bolt between the extended and retracted positions based, at least in part, on the distance and the direction to the authentication device.
INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, VEHICLE, TERMINAL, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM STORING INFORMATION PROCESSING PROGRAM
An information processing device comprising a processor, the processor being configured to: in a case in which a door of a vehicle is locked, determine whether or not a terminal that operates as an electronic key is located in the vehicle; and in a case in which the terminal is determined to be located in the vehicle, perform control to restrict at least a subset of functions, among functions of the vehicle that are controlled in accordance with communications with the terminal, based on a lock trigger causing the locking of the door of the vehicle.
ELECTRONIC ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ARC FLASH PREVENTION
An integrated arc flash safety system and methods for remote access control and safety compliance. An electronic access control system may comprise an enclosure having a door, a door lock device, an electronic access control unit, and an arc sensor. The access controller comprises electronic hardware and software for sensor/detection operation, door lock device operation, door lock actuation, and wireless remote communication. The door lock device may be controlled by the access controller in combination with the arc sensor. The access controller may facilitate remote access control via a smart mobile computing device (e.g., mobile phone) and telecommunication with a remote cloud server via a communication network (e.g., Internet). Embodiments of the present disclosure enable rapid detection of an arc flash precondition or event within an enclosure and warning generation as well as protection and standard compliance measures to improve technician safety.
VEHICLE, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A vehicle includes a confirmation section that confirms, at a time of vehicle door locking, whether or not an information processing device configured to be used to perform the vehicle door locking, is inside the vehicle; a determination section that, in a case in which it has not been confirmed by the confirmation section that the information processing device is inside the vehicle, determines whether or not vibration or movement of the information processing device has been detected within a predetermined period of time from the door locking; and an actuation section that, in a case in which vibration or movement of the information processing device has not been detected by the determination section, actuates an alarm.
Door unlock mechanism
A method and device for unlatching a door from a frame, using a keyless door latch system, is provided. In one embodiment, a secondary unlocking component receives a signal and derives power from the signal to provide a power source for the keyless door latch system. A microcontroller generates a control signal and an actuator, in response to receiving the control signal, actuates the secondary unlocking component, which allows an energy source, from an exterior of the door, to be transferred to the keyless door latch system for the unlatching of the door.
Access control electronics for wireless locks
Access control electronics tor wireless locks comprise one or more battery operated radios that receive access control codes. The wireless accessed locks locate the electronic components, circuits, sensors and antennas and many of the lock components away from the container being secured and closer to the operator/user. The disclosed access control electronics combine a proximity detection circuit comprising sensor pads and a capacitive sensing circuit and one or more short-range radio frequency antennas for reading RFID devices. The proximity sensor pads are in close proximity with the antennas, without the antennas interfering with the proximity sensing process, and the sensor pads to not attenuate the signals between the RFID devices and the antennas after the RFID devices are detected.
