SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MULTIPLE OCCUPANCY BUILDING
A facility information access system, comprising: a housing positioned in a location proximate to a facility, wherein the housing is accessible to pedestrians at ground level. The housing defines an internal cavity and comprises an access cover to block unauthorised physical access to the internal cavity. A facility information device housed inside the housing and comprises: a processor; a communication interface accessible by the processor and configured to allow exchange of information with devices external of the housing; and a memory storing executable program instructions accessible by the processor. The processor is configured to execute program instructions to: receive facility information from an external computing device through the communication interface, wherein the facility information relates to the facility; store the received facility information in the memory; receive a request to access the facility information through the communication interface; and in response to the request, determine whether the first request is an authorised request and, if the request is an authorised request, transmit the facility information through the communication interface.
REMOTE PROGRAMMING FOR ACCESS CONTROL SYSTEM WITH VIRTUAL CARD DATA
An access control system includes a credential service operable to generate an encrypted programming credential. A mobile library on a mobile device operable to communicate with the credential service, the mobile library operable to receive the encrypted programming credential from the credential service and a credential module for an access control, the credential module operable to extract programming data from the encrypted programming credential, the programming data usable to program the access control.
BRIDGE DEVICE FOR ACCESS CONTROL IN A MULTI-TENANT ENVIRONMENT
An access control system may be deployed at a location in a multi-tenant environment. The access control system may store access control information at one or more of an access control device, an access control bridge device, or an access control server. Tenant-specific access control information may be respectively stored at tenant-specific access control devices to control access to tenant-specific areas of the location. Shared access control information may be stored at shared access control devices to control access to common areas of the location. The access control system may be selectively configured such that an access device, an access control bridge device, or the access control server processes requests for access that are received at the location.
Set-top box with enhanced behavioral controls and system and method for use of same
A set-top box with enhanced behavioral controls and system and method for use of the same are disclosed. In one embodiment of the set-top box, a wireless transceiver is located within a housing, which also interconnectively includes a signal input, a signal output, a processor, and memory. The set-top box may pair with an electronic door locking apparatus coupled to a door that is room-collocated with the set-top box in a hospitality establishment. The set-top box may then reprogram the electronic door locking apparatus as well as control amenities, such as a display, in response to presence signal from the electronic door locking apparatus.
Wireless device and methods for making and using the same
A guest engagement system and associated methods provide seamless engagement with guests of facilities through the use of wireless sensing technologies. The system makes use of individual guest devices which are carried by guests and used to automatically identify and authenticate the guests throughout the facility. Services can thereby be seamlessly provided to the guests throughout the facility. The services include contact tracing, automatic unlocking of doors, including hotel or state room doors, based on the guests' immediate proximity to their assigned room's door. The services also include automated payment services provided at checkout or vending terminals, and automated log-on to interactive displays and portals, among others, based on secure wireless authentication of the guest devices. The guest devices can each include a device health sensor configured for measuring at least one health function of a user wearing the guest device.
FIRST ENTRY NOTIFICATION
An access control system is disclosed in which a user or guest's first entry or usage of an electronic key is reported. Reporting of the first entry or usage may include information particular to the initial transaction and may be delivered by a path that is substantially the same, but reversed, from an original key delivery path. In this way, non-networked or ‘offline’ locks/readers can report first entry or usage of an electronic key.
WEARABLE DEVICE, SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME, AND OPERATION METHODS THEREOF
A wearable device may include: an authentication unit suitable for authenticating a user by verifying user identification information of the user; a sensor suitable for detecting contact between the authenticated user and the wearable device; a wireless communication unit suitable for wirelessly provide link success information to an electronic device requiring user authentication; and a control unit suitable for controlling the wireless communication unit to provide the link success information to the electronic device during the contact after success of the authentication of the authentication unit.
DOOR ACCESS MANAGEMENT METHOD AND DOOR ACCESS MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
The present invention provides a door access management method applicable to a building. The building includes a plurality of areas. The door access management method includes setting access information of an access card, the access information marking accessible entrances of the access card in the building; arranging an electronic lock on a door for controlling access of an entrance of a corresponding area in the building; the electronic lock storing information of the entrance controlled by the electronic lock; the electronic lock sensing the access card for receiving the access information of the access card; the electronic lock comparing the access information with the information of the entrance controlled by the electronic lock; and unlocking the electronic lock when an accessible entrance marked by the access information corresponds to the information of the entrance controlled by the electronic lock.
BUILDING ACCESS SYSTEM WITH PROGRAMMING DOOR LOCKS
Disclosed is an entry system for a building having: a first door lock that includes a controller; wherein the first door lock is configured for encoding access rights to a first client keycard responsive to a first engagement with a master keycard.
Building management robot and method of providing service using the same
A building management robot includes a communication unit configured to recognize an identification device corresponding to a first divided space among at least one divided space in a building and acquire first identification information of the first divided space from the identification device, a camera configured to acquire image data including a position where the identification device is recognized, and a processor configured to recognize a user from the image data, confirm an authentication level of the first divided space of the recognized user from a database, and provide the user with a service based on the confirmed authentication level.
