Robot transport method with transportation container
A method for transporting a plurality of articles with a transportation container that can be carried in a transport container of one of a plurality of robots. The plurality of articles is placed in the transportation container. The transportation container is placed in a pickup location at a first location. A robot is navigated to the first location and the transportation container is autonomously moved from the pickup location to the transport container of the robot. The robot is navigated over an outdoor transportation network to a second location and the transportation container is autonomously moved from the transport container to a recipient location at the second location.
Portable securement apparatus with GPS locationing
A multi-featured lock back that includes a global position system receiver for location monitoring as well as other features. Using an app that is running on a mobile device, a user may locate and utilize the lock box. A controller within the lock box can use geo-fencing to identify the lock box is being stolen.
Robotic sherpa
Embodiments disclosed herein include a mobile locker. The mobile locker can include a mobility unit to enable the locker to relocate from one location to another. The mobile locker is modular which allows the storage compartment to be detached from the mobility unit for storage, transfer via other means. The storage compartment can be coupled either the same or a different mobility unit. The mobile lockers can be recalled by a customer to either the customer's location or to designated locations at the venue. The lockers can include any one of multiple locking mechanisms. The mobile locker can communicate with a monitoring center that oversees the deployment of multiple mobile lockers. Embodiments of the mobile locker can interact with customers through a display, microphone, and speaker.
Carsharing system and carsharing method
A carsharing system includes circuitry configured to: receive, from a user, a usage request for requesting a reservation for use of a vehicle which is supplied for a vehicle rental service; permit the reservation for use of the vehicle when the reception unit receives the usage request and no reservation for use of the vehicle has been made at time of receiving the usage request; and give, when the reservation for use of the vehicle is determined, a permission for locking or unlocking by using electronic information to the user at a date and a time on which the vehicle is used.
Trailer for autonomous delivery
The disclosed technology provides a delivery trailer to be hitched to an autonomous vehicle for autonomous delivery of packages. The delivery trailer can include sensors to provide data to the autonomous vehicle to which it is to overcome limitations caused by any occlusion of sensors on the autonomous vehicle by the trailer. Furthermore, the present technology addresses several challenges related to autonomous package delivery.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DEVICE TRACKING AND CONTACTLESS ORDER DELIVERY AND PICK UP
The present technology discloses methods, non-transitory computer-readable media, and systems for generating, for a transaction, a transaction code, wherein the transaction code includes a temporary key allowing access to a vehicle at a delivery location; sending, to a merchant device, the transaction code; sending, to the merchant device, an alert that the vehicle has arrived at the delivery location, wherein the temporary key is used to access the vehicle for placing a product inside the vehicle; receiving a notification that the product has been placed inside the vehicle; and disabling the temporary key.
PACKAGE ANALYSIS EDGE DEVICES AND SYSTEMS
Disclosed herein are systems and methods for analyzing one or more package. In an embodiment, disclosed is a method comprising determining, by a sensor component of a package analysis device comprising a processor that executes computer executable components stored in a memory and the memory that stores computer executable components, a presence of a package and a set of dimensions of the package and extracting, by an image capturing component of the package analysis device, a set of image data from a package label based on a determined presence of the package.
Electronic tag lock
This application discloses an electronic tag lock, which includes: a housing, a lock cable, a control circuit board, and a clamping mechanism arranged in the housing; the clamping mechanism includes several clamping components electrically connected to the control circuit board, the clamping components abut against outer circumference of the lock cable, the clamping components and the lock cable are electrically connected.
Item Deposition Unit and Reusable Delivery Container
A reusable delivery container comprising an enclosure for containing an item; a closure selectively allowing access to the enclosure; a display on an outer surface of the container, comprising configurable electronic ink for displaying delivery information; an electronic lock for selectively securing the closure, the electronic lock having updatable unlock criteria; a receiver configured to receive data communications, the data communications comprising at least lock data; power circuitry for providing power from a power source to the display, the electronic lock, and the receiver; and control circuitry arranged to control the electronic lock and update the unlock criteria, based on lock data received by the receiver.
SMART DELIVERY RECEPTACLE AND RELATED SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A smart delivery receptacle and related systems and techniques are disclosed. The disclosed receptacle may be configured to detect and securely report wirelessly on whether a package has been delivered thereto. Moreover, the disclosed receptacle may be configured to alert an owner or other authorized party if the receptacle has been compromised or a package has been removed without authorization. To such ends, the disclosed receptacle may include RF wireless communication device(s) configured to transmit RF signal(s) including data pertaining to various conditions to be monitored. Information from the RF signal(s) may be delivered through the internet to a server, which may be cloud-based in some instances, allowing for inter-networking of the system components and other elements as part of the internet of things (IOT). Mobile and other computing devices may access the information stored at the server to monitor the receptacle, as well as control overall system operation.
