SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ACTIVATING LOCKBOX WHEN AUTHENTICATING DEVICE IS IN RANGE
A system and a method for activating a lockbox when authenticating device is in range. One or more data packets are received from a plurality of first devices at a sensor unit. A valid data packet is determined from the one or more data packets. A first device corresponding to the valid data packet is determined from the plurality of first devices. A trigger signal is transmitted to a second device after validating the data packet. The second device is switched ON to transmit and receive communication from the first device based on receiving the trigger signal.
Electronic lockbox
An electronic lockbox uses a rotary actuator with multiple positions to achieve multiple locking states. Multiple positions of the actuator are detected, using optical sensors. The locking mechanism includes an outer sleeve and an inner cylindrical barrel that are coupled with torsion springs. The lockbox has a shackle and a key bin that are retained by the inner barrel when in the locked state, and the barrel can be rotated to either release the shackle or to release the key bin that typically holds a building's key.

Method and system for issuing and storing key/keycard
A novel system and method to facilitate an issuing and storing key/keycard system includes a network, a cloud server, a terminal, a cabinet control server, and at least an issuing and storing key/keycard cabinet. The customer/ the user, through the terminal, can sign up/ receive authentication methods to verify user rights/owner of key/keycard to the cloud server. The issuing and storing key/keycard cabinet is used in issuing and storing the customer/user's key/keycard. The cabinet control server controls and operates the issuing and storing key/keycard cabinet. The invention is to provide a method of issuing and storing key/keycard includes steps: i) the customer/user register/verify user rights/owner of key/keycard to the cloud server; ii) the customer/user takes/stores key/keycards at the issuing and storing key/keycard cabinet; iii) synchronization data between the cloud server with the cabinet control server.
Automated Rental Systems and Methods
A system has a computing device that displays a plurality of graphical user interfaces (GUIs), the GUIs designed to capture detailed data indicative of a renter of a vehicle. The system further has a processor that receives data from one of the plurality of GUIs indicative of the renter. Further, the processor provides a plurality of vehicles available for renting and receives a selection of one of the plurality of vehicles from the renter. Also, the processor opens a gate for the renter to a rental car location and directs the renter to a key box, unlocks the key box based upon comparing the renter's image captured at the rental car location to a picture previously received from the renter. The processor further opens the key box if the comparison indicates the renter at the rental car location is the same person who uploaded the picture previously.
System and method for monitoring access to a residential structure
Disclosed is a monitoring system, having: a keybox configured to store a key; a monitoring device, wherein via a monitoring device controller, the monitoring device is configured to: detect a first alert condition indicative of the keybox being outside a communication range of shortwave radio; and transmit a first alert to a remote implement that is indicative of an occurrence of the first alert condition.
Latching apparatus for an electronic lockbox
An electronic lockbox includes a latching apparatus that uses a rotary actuator with multiple positions to achieve multiple locking states. Multiple positions of the actuator are detected, using optical sensors. The locking mechanism includes an outer sleeve and an inner cylindrical barrel that are coupled with torsion springs. The lockbox has a shackle and a key bin that include latch pins which are retained by the inner barrel when in the locked state, and the barrel can be rotated to either release the shackle or to release the key bin that typically holds a building's key. During insertion of a latch pin into the rotatable barrel, a first interior protrusion is sufficiently wide such that after the first latch pin has been inserted into the barrel and has become latched, the first latch pin does not unlatch itself as the second latch pin is inserted and rotates the rotatable barrel during the second latch pin insertion.

Integration of disparate shipping aggregation, commerce, and locker platforms
A system and method are presented that utilize an unaltered application programming interface (API) provided by a shipping aggregator to provide a customer-facing aggregation service. Standard shipping aggregator APIs are unable to accept customer-specified ship-from addresses and customer-specified package details. This is especially true when using standard e-commerce platforms. Custom integration programming operates between the e-commerce platform and the unaltered shipping aggregator API in order to provide customer-facing aggregation services. Locker locations also form part of the system, allowing customer-facing aggregation using carrier agnostic lockers for ship-from and ship-to locations.
Electronic lockbox with key retainer subassembly
Disclosed herein are various embodiments of an electronic lockbox for storing keys and key cards. The lockbox may include calendar-based entry rules so that the key codes can differ based on the date and time. The lockbox may be controllable by a mobile device such as a mobile phone, tablet, or other mobile device. The lockbox may include functionality so that key codes for the lockbox can be transmitted via websites such as Airbnb, HomeAway, or other rental websites, so that guests automatically receive their unique lockbox codes when they confirm their reservations. The lockbox may also receive a Bluetooth low energy virtual key which may be transmitted directly from a user's mobile phone to the lockbox, so that no manual code entry through the keypad is required by a user. The lockbox may be capable of accepting multiple passcodes enabled at different times and dates, and for different purposes.
