Card key for vehicle
A vehicle card key, includes: a mainboard part on which an electronic element for wireless transmitting/receiving with a vehicle is mounted; a connector part formed on the mainboard part; a housing part which covers the mainboard part avoiding the connector part; and a switchboard part which has at least one among a switch and light-emitting diode mounted thereon, and which is layered on the mainboard part and is connected to the connector part.
Closure Member Sensor
An apparatus may include a capacitance sensor, a processor in communication with the capacitance sensor, and memory having programmed instructions that cause the processor, when executed, to determine a closure status of a closure member based on a measurement from the capacitance sensor.
Electronic cam lock for cabinet doors, drawers and other applications
A cam lock for cabinets, drawers, drug cabinets, credenzas, sliding doors, lockers, mail boxes and other door type applications is compact in size, fits an existing cam lock opening and provides electronic access via a keypad or other electronic access. Using batteries, such as AAA size batteries or smaller, the lock has electronics that release a lock turn knob or handle when the correct code is entered. Preferably a set of electronic contacts is included at an accessible position on the lock housing to allow both master access and power jumping with a common manager's implement, for situations of lost codes and/or battery failure. In a particular embodiment the lock is long, narrow and low in profile so as to fit on the margin of a steel or wood file cabinet, compatible with the cam lock opening already provided. The locks, NFC-enabled, can be used in securing delivery boxes to enable delivery access, when authorized.
VEHICLE KEY ASSEMBLY
A vehicle key assembly may include a main body case; an emergency key including a key portion and a knob connected to the key portion and provided to be introduced into the main body case; a restraining member; and a manipulator configured to operate the restraining member, wherein the knob includes: a knob case connected to the key portion and configured to close an opening of the main body case in a state of being accommodated in the main body case; a key ring member mounted on the knob case to be introduced into or retracted from the knob case to be protruded to an outside of the main body case; and one or more elastic members provided in the knob case and configured to press the key ring member in a protrusion direction in which the key ring member is protruded.
BACKUP KEY WITH WIRELESS CAPABILITIES
A keycard may include electronics to allow access to vehicle functions. A keycard system for a vehicle includes a plurality of sections of a stacking key, and a keycard, including a key holder defining a plurality of sleeves, each sleeve having an opening for receiving a respective one of the plurality of sections, wherein the key holder further includes electronics configured to wirelessly provide access to the vehicle. A foldable keycard includes hinged sections, each defining a base and a layer of a blade of a key extending therefrom; and an electronic vehicle access component arranged at the base of one of the sections opposite the blades, and configured to fold away from the blades to allow the keycard to be inserted into a lock.

SMART KEY BOX
A smart key box includes a key holding element, a housing, a power assembly, sensing units, an authentication module, and a control module. The housing is configured to contain the key holding element. The power assembly is disposed in the housing and configured to drive the key holding element to leave the housing or enter the housing along an access direction. The sensing units are disposed in the housing. When the key holding element leaves the housing or enters the housing, the key holding element is configured to trigger at least one of the sensing units. The authentication module is disposed at the housing. The control module is disposed in the housing and electrically connected with the power assembly, the sensing units, and the authentication module, and is configured to control the power assembly according to the at least one of the sensing units which is triggered.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CREATING REPLACEMENT VEHICLE KEYS
The present invention generally relates to the field of replicating or copying keys. More specifically, the present invention relates to creating a copy of a master key based on a captured image of the master key. The present invention identifies a set of target key information based on the image of the master key to provide for the cutting of a duplicate key blade copy to be shipped to a user. Additional key information may also be captured along with the image of the master key.
In-vehicle control apparatus using smart key provided with display and method of controlling the same
A user interface capable of controlling various functions in a vehicle is disclosed. The vehicle control method using a smart key includes an integrated operation unit detecting attachment of the smart key through a smart key detector disposed in a predetermined attachment area inside a vehicle, the integrated operation unit transmitting information on a controlled function corresponding to a vehicle state to the smart key, outputting a first user interface corresponding to the information on the controlled function on a first display of the smart key, transmitting information on a result of operation from the smart key to the integrated operation unit when an operation unit provided in the smart key is operated, and the integrated operation unit controlling the controlled function based on the information on the result. The smart key is fixed in the attachment area using magnetic force.
Portable device
A portable device executes wireless communication with an in-vehicle device in a vehicle to thereby permit the in-vehicle device to perform control relating to locking or unlocking of a door in the vehicle. The portable device includes a circuit board on which a function for executing control is mounted, a housing, and a side cover. The housing is achieved by combining an upper case and a lower case configured to separate in an up and down direction that is a direction orthogonal to the circuit board. The side cover is attached to a side surface on an outside of the housing to bring the upper case and the lower case into close contact with each other.
