KEY WITH A BUTTON FOR AN ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCKING DEVICE
A key for an electromechanical locking device includes a key bow, and with the key bow includes a housing and an, in particular single, button. The housing includes an actuating section for actuating the button and a support section for supporting the actuating section, with the actuating section and the support section being configured in one piece with one another.
Electronic Device Arrangement, Method for Operating an Electronic Device Arrangement, Security Device, and Automated Teller Machine
A Universal-Serial-Bus interface communicatively couples a first electronic device and a second electronic device with one another. The Universal-Serial-Bus interface includes an electrical connection structure to electrically connect the first electronic device and the second electronic device with one another and a switch to disconnect the electrical connection structure. A measurement circuit to measure one or more electrical properties is associated with the electrical connection structure and/or the first electronic device. One or more processors configured to control the switch based on the measured one or more electrical properties.
Portable access control communication device, method, computer program and computer program product
It is presented a portable access control communication device comprising: a housing for protecting a key device, the access control communication device; a socket arranged to hold a blade of a key device, the socket comprising a connector for communication with the key device; a cellular radio communication module; and a controller. The controller is arranged to communicate, using the cellular radio communication module, with an access control device over a cellular communication network when a key device is provided in the socket such that there is electric contact between the key device and the socket. A corresponding method, computer program and computer program product area also presented.
ELECTRONIC KEY
An electronic key includes a mechanical key, a key housing to which the mechanical key is attached, and a charging terminal. The mechanical key is detachable from the key housing. The charging terminal is disposed in a key opposing surface that is a surface of the key housing, covered with the mechanical key in a state where the mechanical key is attached to the key housing, and exposed when the mechanical key is relatively moved from a position attached to the key housing.
Key Rotor for Use with Manual Key Switches
A key holder designed for use with manual key switches affixes a key onto a control box. The key holder includes a rotor housing, a key rotor, and a threaded opening. The key is mounted into the key rotor before being inserted into the control box. Further, the key rotor is rotatably mounted into the rotor housing via the threaded opening. The key rotor includes an interior face, an exterior face, a threaded body, and a key slot. The interior face and exterior face are positioned opposite each other about the threaded body. The key slot traverses through the threaded body. To connect the key rotor to the rotor housing, the threaded body is screwed into the threaded opening. This transforms the rotational motion into the linear motion of the key rotor, which along with the locking feature of the manual key switch, prevents the key from rotating.
PORTABLE DEVICE
A portable device executes wireless communication with an in-vehicle device in a vehicle to thereby permit the in-vehicle device to perform control relating to locking or unlocking of a door in the vehicle. The portable device includes a circuit board on which a function for executing control is mounted, a housing, and a side cover. The housing is achieved by combining an upper case and a lower case configured to separate in an up and down direction that is a direction orthogonal to the circuit board. The side cover is attached to a side surface on an outside of the housing to bring the upper case and the lower case into close contact with each other.
Electronic cam lock for cabinet doors, drawers and other applications
A cam lock for cabinets, drawers, drug cabinets, credenzas, sliding doors, lockers, mail boxes and other door type applications is compact in size, fits an existing cam lock opening and provides electronic access via a keypad or other electronic access. Using batteries, such as AAA size batteries or smaller, the lock has electronics that release a lock turn knob or handle when the correct code is entered. Preferably a set of electronic contacts is included at an accessible position on the lock housing to allow both master access and power jumping with a common manager's implement, for situations of lost codes and/or battery failure. In a particular embodiment the lock is long, narrow and low in profile so as to fit on the margin of a steel or wood file cabinet, compatible with the cam lock opening already provided. The locks, NFC-enabled, can be used in securing delivery boxes to enable delivery access, when authorized.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR UNLOCKING AN ELECTROMECHANICAL LOCK
A lock operating device (100) configured to be retrofitted on an electromechanical lock (200) having a key-receiving portion (210) is provided. The lock operating device (100) comprises a maneuver knob (110) and a key blade (120) being operably connected to the maneuver knob (110) and being insertable in said key-receiving portion (210) of the electromechanical lock (200), and circuitry (130) which includes wireless communication means (132) arranged to wirelessly receive authentication information, and which circuitry (130) is arranged to communicate the received authentication information to the electromechanical lock (200) via the inserted key blade (120). The lock operating device (100) thereby allows conversion of the electromechanical lock (200) from a first operating mode, in which the electromechanical lock (200) can be operated by a programmable physical key receivable in said key-receiving portion (210), to a second operating mode in which the electromechanical lock (200) is arranged to receive said authentication information wirelessly and be operated by the maneuver knob (110).
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SECURE LOCK SYSTEMS WITH REDUNDANT ACCESS CONTROL
Systems and methods for providing secure locks having redundant access channels are disclosed. In some embodiments of the invention, the smart lock has a hardware processor, a power source, a cylinder, a button that forms a rose knob, and a rose protector. The rose knob and rose protector protect and conceal the hardware processor, the power source, and the cylinder. The rose protector forms an annular groove that slidably interlocks with the rose knob. The rose knob has a plurality of redundant access channels for receiving authentication information. The redundant access channels may include a biometric scanner for receiving biometric information, a passcode keypad for entering a token, or a wireless transceiver for receiving a token from a mobile device and transmitting a response to the mobile device. When the user cannot open the lock through the first redundant access channel, the smart lock is configured to allow access through a second access channel.
