Centrally controlled safe management system
A cash management system utilizes a cloud computing model wherein a cloud of one or more servers may be locally networked or may be geographically dispersed and accessed by the client device over the Internet. The client device is a cash management safe. More than one safe may be employed in a system. Metrics, control functions, and interactions normally handled by an autonomous safe are shunted directly to a cloud server on the network. Usage data, currency validations, coin validations, security entries, etc. are communicated to the cloud server. The cloud server(s), based on database information and software settings, can transmit configuration, updates and information to remote safes. The information transmitted may include user configuration, access rules, currency configuration, alert configuration, and software and firmware updates. The cloud server based cash management system allows the entire cash management of an enterprise to be provided as a service to that enterprise.
PAPER SHEET PROCESSING DEVICE
A paper sheet processing device includes: a receiving part which opens to an exterior of the device, in which paper sheets from the exterior of the device are set, and which dispenses the set paper sheets in a stacked state, one by one; a conveyance unit which conveys the paper sheets dispensed from the receiving part; an identification unit which identifies whether the paper sheets that are being conveyed by the conveyance unit are a to-be-counted paper sheet or a reject paper sheet; a post-count accumulating part which accumulates a paper sheet identified as the to-be-counted paper sheet; and a plurality of reject accumulating parts which accumulate, in a state sorted by reason for rejection, a paper sheet identified as the reject paper sheet.

CASH BOX AND BANKNOTE PROCESSING DEVICE USING SAME
Disclosed are a cash box and a banknote processing device using the same. The cash box includes: a guiding plate, configured to guide a banknote to enter a banknote storage chamber; a pickup roller, configured to output the banknote; and a sensor, configured to detect a position of the guiding plate and a position of the pickup roller. When the guiding plate is in a banknote feeding position or the pickup roller is in a banknote pickup position, the sensor outputs a first signal. When the guiding plate deviates from the banknote feeding position and the pickup roller deviates from the banknote pickup position, the sensor outputs a second signal, wherein the first signal is different from the second signal.

CARD READER AND FOREIGN MATTER DETECTION METHOD THEREOF
A capacitive sensor is divided into a plurality of regions each of which is capable of detecting a capacitance, and a switch circuit is provided which is configured to electrically connect and disconnect each region. At least one of the plurality of regions, for example, is arranged in a position less susceptible to an influence of a movable structure within the card reader, and at least one of the remaining regions is arranged in a position susceptible to the influence of the movable structure.
Device for exchange between gaming chips and cash currency
In an exchange device for gaming chip and cash currency, the gaming chip has a color or indication of value on its external surface, the exchange device comprises: a cash currency insertion opening; a cash currency reading section for obtaining authenticity information and currency information of the cash currency inserted from the cash currency insertion opening; an inserted cash currency amount display section configured to display the amount of the cash currency acquired by the cash currency reading section; a gaming chip storage section configured to store the gaming chips by type; a gaming chip dispensing section configured to dispense the gaming chips corresponding to the amount of the cash currency acquired by the cash currency reading section from the gaming chip storing section; a take-out section in which the paid out gaming chips are placed; and a user recognition section configured to recognize a person wishing exchange.

Illegal-act detecting mechanism, paper sheet transport device, and paper sheet handling device
In an illegal-act detecting mechanism including an opening/closing member for detecting an illegal act and preventing pullout, at the time of stopping the opening/closing member at an initial rotation position, it is prevented that a stop position is deviated due to overrun by an inertial force of a motor. The illegal-act detecting mechanism includes an opening/closing member 50 that permits passage of a paper sheet at the initial rotation position, and blocks passage of the paper sheet at a non-initial rotation position deviated from the initial rotation position, a rotary member 70 that integrally rotates with the opening/closing member, a driving member 90 pivotally supported so as to be able to rotate relative to the opening/closing member, and a drive transmission mechanism 100. The drive transmission mechanism includes at least one driven piece provided in the rotary member, at least one driving piece that is provided in the driving member and intermittently drives and rotates the rotary member, and a buffer member 101 that biases the driven piece and the driving piece in a direction away from each other.
